This place just saved me 300$, I got a nail in my tire and someone plugged it, but the plug didn't hold. I went to Discount tire for help and they said since it had been plugged they could only sell me another tire...for 306$. My dad recommended this place and I told the guy these are brand new tires, just bought them a month ago or so. He said he will do a patch, which will hold better for 25! Such a lifesaver right now. Thank you so much!!!

I will never be back. I got one tire replaced and got down the road and my car was pulling really hard. So I get out and look and the tire is the wrong size. I call them and tell them what's up and they tell me to come back and he will fix it. So I go back two weeks later to get another tire ( because both my front tires were shot and could only afford one tire till I got paid again)and this time is the same thing. They put on the wrong size. I told them before I even left the shop this time. they took it back off and told me it was all they had till Wednesday and to come back then and they will give me another one. So I was forced to drive with two different size tires on my front wheel drive vehicle for 5 days . So I go back Wednesday and apparently the other brother is working and the guy won't change out the tire. Two brothers own this place. even with the brother telling him that it's true I was to come back and get a tire he wouldn't replace it. Well I had to come back the next day when the one brother was working in order to get my tire. Now this tire they gave me is DRY ROTTED!! not just a lil either. I WILL ADVISE AGAINST THIS PLACE. These people are knowingly selling people bad tires. I wish I didn't even have to leave any stars

I went on an emergency as I was going out of town and had no time to wait on tires to come in. They changed 3 total.....I noticed that the car was still shaking but I assumed that it was due to needing a balance.Well after I came back in town, I stopped to a tire shop to see about a balance and was quickly advised that 2 of the tires were dry rotted and the other was the wrong size completely.Ethically, I just don't understand how anyone would take advantage of another life this!

The mechanic, i believe his name is jimmy, should not be working on vehicles. Spent several hundred dollars to have a wheel bearing/hub assembly installed, then he added a ball joint (3 orders later we got the right one, so he said). Alignment was off from the jump, installed the wrong ball joint, left the nut on the ball joint loose because he stripped the threads, the axle nut was loose and not torqued . I was sent off the lot in a dangerous riding vehicle, when i arrived it was simply for the hub bearing assembly install. I hired another mechanic who has since replaced the ball joint that was destroyed, and tightened up the axle nut and every other loose component for a fraction of the price and did a GREAT JOB! This place seems decent for tires, but it s amateur hour for sure with anything more than a simple tire install. CALL IMPACT MOBILE MECHANIC SERVICES INSTEAD, HE WILL PULL UP AND WARRANTY ALL HIS WORK! DONT PUT YOURSELF OR FAMILY MEMBER IN DANGER BY GOING TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT, SOMEONE NEEDS TO DO SOME TRAINING BEFORE CALLING THIS A REPAIR SHOP.

When rnr threatened to charge us for third degree felony for tires we had almost paid off. These people saved us and put rnr tires in the back and i was able to return themZz best place I ve ever been too .. highly recommend them abdelrahim and his people are one of a kind.. thank you guys plus they are fats :)

I bought a tire from these the tire was leaking all over and man said it s my fault and wouldn t swap the tire bad service and a bunch of fraud don t come waste your time and money here

So on my Infiniti QX56 i needed some caliper covers put on. They were the only shop that would do it. Price was very reasonable because there was a lot of adjustment needed to make them fit. At first they scrapped on the rotor but Buster made sure he put in the time and care to make them fit perfectly. I was impressed by the service and that doesn't happen very often. If i need any tire stuff done in Jax i will be back.

The place might look run down and dirty, but we received excellent fast service. We definitely recommend coming here if you are looking to mount your tires to a new rim. Real great work in balancing them as well.

I got a huge bolt in my tire from road construction and immediately tried to go to a chain tire place who turned me away. I went to this spot and they helped me immediately! It was no longer than 30 mins from the time I pulled in til the time I was driving off. What a life saver! Prices are VERY reasonable and they are quick. Will recommend to anyone !! They are great!

You guys are awesome! Brandnew tire that i purchased from them is very reasonable the tire replacement was so fast and excellent customer service! Next time around I want to have my wheel alignment & Balancing.

DO NOT GO HERE. I came in for a valve cover gasket replacement and an oil change and when I got home I looked under my car and it was pouring oil. The mechanic on-site half a**ed it and when I returned they refused to do any further work unless I paid for it. My car was not pouring oil when I came to the shop. It had a small leak. I returned the day after and had him fix his mess up hoping it would solve it but here we are day 3 and it s still pouring oil. Complete incompetence and ignorance and neglect and shouldn t even have a mechanic shop on site. DO NOT GO HERE!

So, I noticed I had a screw in my tire and I was loosing air pressure. I pulled up and was asked do I want to plug it or patch the tire?. It was my fault for not asking him to explain the difference. It was his lack of great customer service by not explaining the options. At any rate, I said plug. As I paid for the service, I casually asked what was the difference. He explained the the plug was temporary. I responded by saying I drive 80 mikes a day. I need a solution and not a fix.Lesson learned. I will not utilize their services again. Expecting excellence and being mindful of my safety is 100% on me. I will never forget that!

I have over 30 cars in my personal fleet of rental cars for my business and I take every single one of them to Pit Stop to service all my tire and mechanical needs whether it be buying new or used tires, getting patches and plugs to repair existing tires, or if I need oil changes or brake jobs, they do it all and they do a great job at it!Nick, the manager there is a wonderful and kind man all around. He is very honest, professional, patient, understanding, knowledgable, and helpful. He always takes good care of my cars and makes sure he provides me the best options in a very timely manner. He is someone I trust like family.All the staff there too are very friendly, hard working, and professional such as Tony, Steven, Chili, and others. They all work fast and don t waste any time and get the job done so you are in and out in no time. They have all become friends of mine.Having a huge fleet where I always need tires fixed or replaced and brake jobs, I have already tried all of the other used tire shops in the entire Jacksonville, and Pit Stop by far is the best place to go to and the only one I trust and highly recommend. You will not find lower pricing, better and more selection of tires, and superb friendly customer service anywhere else but Pit Stop. I guarantee you once you go here, you will not want to go anywhere else.

GREAT PRICE AND FAST SERVICE!At first I was not sure if I should stop because over the phone they sounded cold (also I am spanish and sometimes I have a language barrier). Then I had no option because they were the only ones with a tire available for my mini cooper in a 80 miles radius.They called me back and told me that I don t have to worry because they will wait until I get out of my job after 6:15 pm which was my main concern and that was a relief for me.And they DID wait for me and helped me out. Otherwise I would have to wait 5 days for my tire to arrive at other places And yes they are a bit cold LOL but hey, BUSINESS IS BUSINESS. I guess they are there to supply and offer a service and not to sweet talk to you. So.. whatever I am so glad I stopped there!! I highly recommend this place!! Fast work and good prices. Straight to fix the problem and no bullshiting around like other places that wants to rip you off!Ignore the people reviewing about bad customer service, they might sound cold but at the end of the day you just need a tire. If you want someone talking sweet to you then get a boyfriend. LMAO!!

Terrible service. Bought two used tires and for one I specifically said I'd pay more for a better tire since the first one they picked was almost bald. It had decent tread on the second tire so I took it but after looking closer I noticed just how dry-rotted it was. Can't put any of that on them though because I agreed to all of it. That's my mistake. However when I woke up the next morning I was sitting on rim for the "better" tire. I called and was told to come by and they'd replace the tire. When I got there they made a big deal about me needing the receipt. So I dug both receipts out and they then told me they aren't the right receipts which is completely untrue. Eventually he gave up but when he took the tire off now he's saying that it's my fault the tire is flat. After arguing for a few minutes they eventually said they would plug it for me but only after first saying I would have to pay. Then all the employees are laughing and saying things like"this is what happens when you try to help people". I don't know about any other hard working people but I don't considered two trash tires for almost a hundred dollars help. At this point I told them not to worry about it and I'll just make sure people know that their only intention is making money off of dry rotted pieces of rubber they call tires and don't care one bit about making sure they have a good reputation. I will never come back and I don't encourage anyone to go through the same hell I had to go to. I wish there was something less than one star because they don't even deserve that!

On a recommendation from a friend, I visited the location to purchase a tire or two. They did not disappoint. Like the name says, it was a "pit stop". They were very fast and efficient. They found the two tires that I needed and had them installed in no time flat! They are super good and the price was outstanding! Will not hesitate to visit again with my tire needs. Thanks again!

My car lost traction while on a road trip from Atlanta to Miami. They diagnosed my check engine light and instead of suggesting an expensive fix, they told me to get a free battery check at the auto parts store across the street. I was able to solve my problem in 20 minutes and get back on the road.The professionalism and integrity of this shop is spectacular, and I would gladly stop at this place again to get a repair.

They were great. Took my husbands Car there yesterday because he had a bent rim they were able to put a new one on and four used tires. They have great prices and they are super fast! Always a plus when you have little ones I will definitely go back!

DON T SPEND MONEY WITH THESE PEOPLE! Find a tire dealer who will respect the customer and backup the tires they sell! Pit Stop warrants the tires they offer are good and safe but when confronted with the sale of damaged, defective tires they act like you are a scammer so not to be responsible for the dangerous tires! DON T SPEND MONEY WITH BUSINESSES THAT DON T RESPECT THE PEOPLE OF OUR COMMUNITY!
