My husband and I won't take our vehicles anywhere else. They are professional and responsive. I never feel like they are trying to upsell, only do what I need. Joe is very personable and makes us feel welcome.

The owner was very honest, knowledgeable and helpful he looked over my vehicle even finding some errors and fixing them and didn't even charge me a dime. Great place will definitely go back next time I need any kind of work done.

This is an honest shop that wants you to be taken care of no matter what. The crew here will work with you to find the best solution without ripping you off. I have heard many great things of P&L before but now I know due to the amazing experience. I highly recommend you give this local and honest shop a try for your needs! They did some brake work on my car and I had a leak so I took it back. He told me it wasn't brake fluid and it was something else leaking from my vehicle. Well now my brake fluid reservoir is empty which he changed. They let all the old break fluid dump out on the fender and didn't clean it up. They replaced the radiator also and I had a coolant leakafter that. I would NEVER use these people again.Service: Brakes

I found this place one day about a year ago when I went to a doctor's appointment nearby and my car overheated. Leonard is an excellent mechanic and honest person. He has been fixing cars for over 45 year.. yes OVER 45 YEARS... wow.. If he can't fix it, nobody can.

P & L Automotive is the best mechanic shop in Jacksonville. I have been going there for over 20 years. They only fix what is wrong with the car. They genuinely care about people. I highly recommend them

Couldn't give them no stars bought my car in for AC blower fan under dashboard and timing belt to be fixed only for Leonard to have my car for 3 days and tell me it's my brake system never lifted the hood to look at the radiator either which needed to be replaced wound up taking it to Lewis petroleum Exxon on beauclerc road and San Jose where radiator was fixed as a tune-up done plugs and all and found my timing belt needed to be replaced when the mechanic went to get my blower motor out of the back of my car it was gone as where it was when I had it at p&l Automotive my fiance and I double-checked before we left p&l Automotive that the blower motor was in the back of my SUV when confronted Leonard he knew nothing about it and said they were not responsible for it that place is a joke they could have made $1,500 off of my business but chose to steal $100 part out of the back of my car instead another check any day I told them that was wrong with it would not take a tonka toy to these people he tried telling me I needed all new brakes pads lines and rotors funny thing is I just had my brakes done and had all of that already inspected and all is fine. Do not use this guy

Excellent & honest auto shop. Have sent multiple vehicles here and they always get the job done correctly and very competitive with prices. A.J. was/is very knowledgeable and a huge help. Definitely recommend P&L Automotive ig yiur ever in the need.

I had an AC problem on my truck took it to a different job they could not fix it. This shop immediately found the problem and fixed it quickly. Thanks for all your help.
