Took my weekend project car for a realignment. Definitely enjoyed my time there the staff were cool and relatable. They were passionate about their business and definitely were honest people who are proficient in what they do. Fairly priced and reasonable, will definitely come back for any of my automotive needs if in the area. What was a pit stop for a long drive became the highlight of my day.Service: Steering & suspension repair

These guys are the best mechanics in Jacksonville, and they have the best equipment available. Very flexible hours and from top to bottom this is an excellent company by the way they take care of the customers and their employees.

Thanks again to Bodo and the team at Ottomotive.We ve been using Ottomotive since 2022 and they have done great work keeping our older vehicle roadworthy and running well.Their estimates are right on so we can budget for work to be done.We highly recommend Ottomotive

I have been their customers pretty much since they opened. I trusted them 100% We got two used cars in the last 4 years and they were correct in all their assessments. I m currently living in St Marys, GA and I commute for car needs about 35 miles. Highly recommended!

The crew here at Otto Motive have treated us with such great professionalism and honesty that it will be VERY difficult to go to any other mechanics than them. These are truly amazing guys here who know what they are doing and provide a comforting feeling knowing that you will get A+ service whatever the issue may be. Will be a long-time customer for years to come. Plus it s a nice environment with Sadie manning the lobby. 5/5 amazing dog.

Great auto shop and mechanics you can trust to fix your car without adding extras you don't need. Even after I moved away from Jacksonville, I still brought my car here a few times when I was back to visit, because it's not easy to find a reliable shop like this.

I have lived in Jacksonville for well over 15 years and it took me 14 years to find Otto Motive (Car Mechanic).Hands down, Otto Motive is absolutely the best auto repair shop I've ever been to. It's rare you find a clean, honest auto repair shop that goes out of their way to assist their customers. Every time either I or my staff have been to Otto Motive, the reactions are same. The staff their truly goes out of their way to work with you! The prices are fair and service is reliable, not to mention, they stand behind their work!I recommend bringing your vehicle here even if you have to drive a little further. I live in San Marco and no matter where I live in Northeast Florida, Otto Motive will be the only place I take my cars to! Trust me, you'll thank me for recommending them to you!

It was a great experience everyone was friendly, the job done to my truck was done on time also everyone was helpful and knowledgeable I highly recommend this place for anyone needing anything done on their car!I recommend them to everyone that wants an honest auto repair shop.

I can t brag enough about how exceptional my experience at this shop was. The gentlemen there are so genuine and kind. Mind you I m not basing this off of a 30 min visit. I sat there for about 5 hours while they worked managed to squeeze my truck in while working on so many other vehicles and producing car after car for pick up. Just all around great business and great customer service. Even the part women and men were kind. I can t forget Sadie the beautiful pup that sat by me most of my wait and was just another stress reliever while I was going through a very overwhelming situation. Last week I had my first experience with Otto Motive. I had concerns about the brakes, foggy headlight lenses and the hydraulic lifters for the rear hatch on my Highlander.Michael, Jason and the mechanics were very professional, friendly and even went the extra mile to contact a headlight lens restorer and scheduled for the work to be done at the shop prior to the brakes being diagnosed. They could have told me I needed all four brakes replaced but after inspection, they recommended just the rear brakes - saving me a couple hundred dollars. But they weren t done. While test driving for the brakes, the mechanic noticed a slight alignment problem. Jason, the owner, put the Highlander on the lift, noticed a slight toe-in problem - and made the adjustment. Problem fixed!!Sadie, the shop customer relations expert, is a beautiful fox red, yellow lab with a wonderful personality and disposition. Dog lovers should visit Otto Motive just to meet Sadie!I highly recommend Otto Motive. If you re not totally satisfied, no problem. I found the shop about two years ago and they have been my go to since then. They are honest and extremely knowledgeable. They ve done everything from a basic oil change to a major engine repair on my vehicle and have been quick to reach out if they found any other potential issues that needed attention as well. All the work I ve had done at Otto Motive has been top notch. The staff are all very friendly, and knowledgeable. The shop is very clean. I use them for routine maintenance and repairs and have been very satisfied with all the work they do. After taking my car to 4 other places around town, this is the only place that was able to resolve the issues with my car (suspension tuning and major alignment issues). Not only were they able to resolve my issue, but they cared enough to continue to work with me after the fact to make sure everything was working well. I can't express how happy I am with this shop. I will be bringing all of my future work to these guys and will continue to refer all of my friends and family to them as well. Thank you so much guys!!!

My friend s car broke down and turned out she needed a new battery. Took it here as they had great reviews and were down the street from where her car was. They were able to fit us in same day and fixed it quickly. Really nice guys and they have a dog that greets you upon arrival! I ve been using this company for three years. Every single time I ve received quality service. They have given me recommendations that are best for the car and my budget. I have 4 vehicles in the family and take all of them there. With 4 different vehicles we have had several visits a year for maintenance and work. Great service every time! I ve been taking my car to Otto motive for over a year and I know I can trust them to do a good job, As long as I m in Jacksonville I ll be going to them. Great service and auto shop. Very knowledgeable and works well to accommodate the customer. I work your standard 8 to 5 job. Can drop off before they open and has a dropbox for keys and notes, then they will call you with an update. Picked up after hours the first time I used them. Second time they worked with me to find best deals parts needed. VERY fast and dependable work. Dropped my car off and was finished next day when I didn't expect to have it back for 2-3 business days. I wasn't even ready to pick it up so they kept it in the shop until the next day for me to get. Staff is awesome.

I ve had multiple repairs done by Bodo and the rest of the guys at Otto Motive and they are hands down the best. Mike at the front is knowledge, patient, and understanding! He even gave me a ride home without even asking after I dropped my car off for service. Jason worked on my car and kept me up to date on all the repairs being done. Fair prices and great customer service. Love this place!

So I cheated.Back track real quick. When I moved to Jacksonville I found this shop and they fixed an oil leak which an actual Honda dealership couldn't fix. I bring my car here for everything after that.Fast forward. Stupid me listened to someone and went to brake for less because they were cheap. Well guess who is at otto motive getting new brakes 3 months after getting new brakes?If you want it done right the first time bring your vehicle here. So mad at myself.

I'm very impressed with the communication, atmosphere, and reliability of the guys at Otto Motive. I am the daughter of a super mechanic who lives in Michigan, so I take hiring a mechanic very seriously. I know that women typically aren't respected in these environments but Ottos goes above and beyond with honesty for what's going on and can wait or not.I'm from a small town, and I feel like they would treat each person with that small town welcome.

We just moved back to Jacksonville. This shop is beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful! They took the time to help me understand what was going on with my vehicle, the scenarios that they may find, and made sure that we don't have any surprises with the scenarios that may be found. During conversation, I could tell that the staff direct their customers as though they are friends or family. No pushing to fix every part possible, just the ones that they truly feel need repaired or replaced. Each of the guys seemed truly passionate about what they do, and the cars they were working on. It's so nice to be comfortable with a shop handling my vehicle. We will be using them for a long time!

These guys are fantastic! Honest, knowledgeable, straight-talking. They don't want to sell you services that you don't need now, they'll keep your car running well and safe. They are quick, too! I had let it get to the point that all 3 of my motor mounts needed replacing, plus a new oxygen sensor - in and out in 1 day. I highly recommend Otto Motive for your car maintenance and repair.

I've had dozens of vehicles and have visited a lot of different automotive repair shops over the past 30 years and this shop is at the top for customer service, follow-up, and great mechanic work. Timeliness for an automotive shop is critical and they were able to get my Ford F350 in and out with superb quality of work before the deadline I had to go tow something with the truck. I'd trust sending my wife or daughter to this shop since I've seen that they will only do what is needed and don't push things that are not. In my dealings with them they are ethical and great mechanics, two things that are hard to find in an automotive repair shop in Jacksonville or anywhere else. I highly recommend Otto Motive.

We take all our vehicles to OttoMotive. The entire staff is professional and qualified. Excellent service and trustworthy!!! I won't take my vehicles anywhere else. Thanks Jason, Bodo, Michael and rest of staff.Also, wanted to add that Sovereign's comment on this feed is FABRICATED. Otto Motive has always gone above and beyond to help our family on all our vehicles, but most notably, my son on his vehicles. My son is a young man and doesn't have a ton of cash to pour into vehicle repairs. Otto has always been fair, reasonable and honest, and gave the guidance necessary to fix what's needed. They would never intentionally mislead anyone and if you're not satisfied or they'll resolve the issue immediately. It's just how they are. These guys do quality work at fair prices. I have a diesel truck and wife has SUV. They have done work on both of our vehicles and got us back on the road in no time. The shop is almost like a white lab coat setting. Highly recommend! Go Otto Motive!
