I needed a new battery after 4 pm on Friday.Called and went to the shop.Paul started working it himself. New battery in stock. Installed and ready to go in 45 minutes.Everyone was good spirits and friendly.This is the way a local repair shop should be.Thanks for the great service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Honest and helpful! I would highly recommend this auto repair shop!!!As my daughter was driving to airport to come home for spring break her car started acting strange. I found Ortega Car Care online and am so glad I did. They took her car in quickly so she wouldn't miss flight. They explained what was wrong, gave me an estimate, and fixed it while she was home. I could have been taken advantage of very easily because I am out of state. Bryan was honest and did not try to upsell me on anything. I am so grateful for this shop.

I went into the shop and was greeted nicely. The guys there are easy to talk to and they made me feel confident that they cared about my situation and immediately worked to locate the parts needed to repair my car . I was very impressed with these guys and would highly recommend them!!Go Dawgs!!!

The Ortega team did a great job with the follow up service from work they performed earlier on my truck. Very friendly people who keep their word. They went above and beyond and discovered an additional problem that was totally unrelated to what they had done and would have caused great trouble if I had a flat tire!

Honest, thorough, honest, service minded, honest - can you tell honesty means a lot to me?I recently purchased a 2015 Lexus ct200h and shortly after I got it, it came up as needing an oil change. I brought it back to these guys because they were so honest about the repairs that were needed on my Prius. For the Lexus, not only did they do an oil change and tire rotation, they did a very thorough check to make sure there were no obvious issues. They believe in cheerfully tending to their customers as if they were family.I highly recommend them!

These guys are very knowledgeable , personable and have a love of cars in general. My vette needed a spark plug replacement and oil change. Normally I would have taken it to a speed shop or dealership for this kind of work. When I found out they worked on classics , Hot rods or just about any vehicle I thought I would give them a try . Very impressed with their work and care of the car. Even having to drive up from Clay County the guys at Ortega Car Care have found them a new customer. Their costs in my opinion are very reasonable. They had my car completed before the end of the day. I would recommend them to anyone looking for vehicle service

I will never take any of my vehicles anywhere else. Top not mechanics, great communication throughout the process. Dont bother taking your vehicle anywhere else. Paul and Bryon are pros. Thanks guys.

Needed an evaporator replacement for my AC. Not an easy job on an older car I have an 09 Kia. Guys were honest with the work and did a great job. Ac is blowing cold and everything was put back in place. Good work will recommend.Service: Air conditioningService: Air conditioning

Their team performed a repair job that involved a total dismantling of the Fiat's dashboard. Pics sent by Bryon showed me what looked like a complete dissection and a million pieces, but it was returned to us in perfect order. They kept me abreast the entire time and didn't hesitate to ensure we were happy with the repair. This was my first experience with this facility, but I won't hesitate to return again when the Fiat needs servicing in the future. I would quickly recommend Ortega Car Care based upon my experience doing business with them.

Ortega Car Care makes it super easy for me with all of the auto services they offer. From my cars first oil change to the last oil change, I would not use any other company. I give them my highest recommendation. Their prices are fair and their customer service is the best.

Had the car towed here because of the good reviews. Friendly staff, but the prices were much higher than elsewhere and didn t make any mention that the starter that was removed before getting here to be looked at would cost hundreds to be just put back on with the two bolts that holds it. Had it towed to Famous Auto Care and they did a great job, didn t charge to reattach the starter, gave a military discount, and the entire repair was less than what just looking at and reattaching the starter was going to cost here.

I've been using them for years. For my classics or New stuff. Something breaks, or gets worn out, even an oil change, Paul is my first call!! Ortega has a great team!! Very professional!! My go-to family run, local, mechanic shop and oil change place. They are hardworking, kind, and honest. Especially being female, I never feel like I am taking advantage of or lied to or overcharged like in a lot of other shops. I would definitely recommend this place!

Great professional service. I had an 1985 corvette repaired and they were able to get the parts which 3 other shops said they couldn t service. All along the way communication was great, prices very fair and the team was super nice. brian was professional, knowledgeable and assessed and repaired my vehicle in a timely matter. he thoroughly explained the issue with my car in a way i could understand and broke down the cost so i knew exactly what i was paying for as far as parts, labor, taxes etc. unexpected car expenses are never fun but brian made this experience as painless as possible. i highly recommend and am grateful i found ortega for my nissan!!

5 star service they got me in and got me out within 2 days to replace my water pump. Very kind caring people , ironically this is the second time I've had to take me car to them on 2 unrelated issues they got me in again right away and quickly but more importantly correctly diagnosed my electrical repair. We've brought both our new and older vehicles to these guys, they do a top notch job every time. I appreciate how they only do what's needed, and won't sell me unnecessary repairs. I can t rave enough about these guys. I requested an appointment online and they didn t have an opening until the next week. Bryon called me and asked if I could get my truck there anytime sooner he could get me fit in before the original appointment. He went over diagnostic fees and worst case scenario estimate.I had my Toyota Tundra towed the same day which had its starter die. HOURS later Bryon called back with the diagnosis and confirmed approval for work. I m sure if they didn t have to order the part they could have had this problem repaired that day. That s how great this team is!These guys had amazing communication everyday, multiple times a day. We ran into a few unexpected issues along the way but never once did I feel uncomfortable or pushed to fix more than what was needed.I will definitely recommend giving this establishment your business for their professionalism, communication and general honesty.

So had my 82 corvette in Pau'ls shop for an oil leak. The valve cover gaskets were replaced. Picked up my car on Thanksgiving 2023. Parked it in my garage and did not drive since I picked it up. On December 23, 2023 I was going to give the vette a wash and backed it out of my garage to discover oil leak and small transmission drip. Texted Paul immediately and he texted back the same day. Paul ended up having the vette towed to his shop and fixed the oil pressue sending unit and replacing a small seal in the transmission. Went to pick it up on 12/29/23 and no charge for the tow, oil pressure unit and seal replacement. Totally awesome work and appreciative of Paul's word which is good as gold . . . Thanks Paul and Ortega Car Care!!!!!

Ortega Car Care really went above and beyond for us. Every step in the process was clearly explained and it all went smoothly. We aren't local to the area, and they did a great job keeping me informed about the prognosis and progress. They had it done quicker than I expected, under the original quoted amount, and used very clear communication. If we ever end up with a broke down car in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to call Ortega Car Care, and I'd recommend them to anyone who needs a reliable and reputable auto shop in the area.

I came in the shop for another problem I thought I was having but it turned out to be a piece of equipment that they had replaced on my truck they spent most of the day trying to get the right part and putting it on for me so that I could be up and running with my truck these are great people to come to and have your vehicle worked on they are faring their prices and honest and their work.
