I came in ready to replace my tire! Mark and Aaron were extremely helpful and upfront. There is always a little hesitation when getting repairs as a woman in a shop but I felt valued and THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE! The fact that my tire could be repaired and great and there was no pressure to replace it like at other shops!Thanks guys, I ll definitely be back.

The nicest young man, Mark Wilson made my experience at Mavis, very easy and very pleasant. I am very thankful for him for taking the time to make sure that all my vehicle needs were met and in a timely manner, because of him I will be sure to return. Work forces could use more people like him for sure, very caring with terrific customer service:)

Unfortunately I cannot leave a good review for this mavis store.I bought my own brake pads and rotors and they installed them in September of last year. The past month I ve been having terrible shaking and issues. I brought it back and they told me my ball bearings and another piece on the front needed to be replaced that s why it was shaking.I then took it to another Mavis store and they showed me it was my rotors that were shot.This Mavis store never installed my rotors that I gave them but did install my brake pads. Unfortunately there was blame shifting with the management team and did not want to rectify the issue but said they would because the manager at another Mavis store fought for me. I refused to take it back because I don t know what would happen to my car if I did and do not trust them. Front desk experience was always pleasant but this recent situation I did not feel comfortable bringing my car back.

I recently faced significant challenges after ordering a tire with installation service from Amazon, which was supposed to be carried out at Mavis Tires. Upon my arrival for the scheduled appointment, it was discovered that the tire, although signed for by Mavis Tires, could not be located. The staff assured me that a replacement tire would be arranged the same day, but unfortunately, my in-store installation appointment was subsequently canceled without a clear resolution in sight.Over the past month, I have engaged in numerous communications with Amazon in an attempt to resolve this matter, but to no avail. The lack of assistance and resolution has been disappointing, leading to an inconvenient and frustrating experience.Based on this experience, I would advise caution when considering services from this establishment. My intention is not to undermine their entire operation, as my experience might be isolated, but to share the difficulties I encountered in hopes that future customers can make informed decisions.My recommendation is to never have the tire shipped to the installer, as they do not appear to be able to handle it. Unfortunately, I will never use this company or recommend them to anyone.

The guys did a great job fixing my flat and replacing the ball joints. They even sent pictures when I asked to see the damage and they were right, it did need to be completed. Done on time and at a reasonable price.

Took my jeep in for 2 new rear tires. The guys were very nice and professional. They put my spare tire that was on the jeep back in place with the jack. Service was exceptional. Will definitely recommend and use them again.

Mavis did an excellent job with my brakes and rotors. I usually get the feeling that mechanics try to get over on you, but I feel at mavis they really did care. I could tell they cared when they offered me ALL that they could and helped me out. Victoria up front is very personable and caring. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves!

Have been a Mavis customer for years. Everything from new tires, to oil changes. Had a nail in the tire and drove in unplanned. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Work was done quickly at a reasonable cost. Always going to be a return customer.

Mavis gets it done! I went in today to diagnose a bad sound. I had constant communication with the very friendly staff during the whole visit and they fixed the problem free of charge. My wife s car was also taken care of here and she recommends Mavis to everyone. I was surprised with the outstanding service today and will be back in the future. Thank you

Today I went to the Dealership for a catalytic converter and they told me I needed the battery to be replaced but were charging me $400. I usually get my tires checked here but I got a quote for the battery at $200. They immediately accommodated me same day and were able to get me after work at 8! Literally less than 20 minutes later and I m out the door! Phenomenal service and I LOVE this location! They re always amazing every time I come here!

Just wow. The service I received today was more than exceptional. This poor team was working hard, their front counter manager (Joshua I think) was absolutely amazing and kept me updated and even helped me sign up for a payment plan so my cost wouldn t be too high! Their mechanics allowed me to go see what they were talking about for parts that needed to be replaced and I was even showed why replacing them would be necessary. They even went the added step of grabbing my charging cable from the car so my phone could charge while I waited. Best service I ever had.

Thank you Aaron, Will and Rafael for the exceptional customer service! I woke up with a flat tire so I went to my reliable place to see if it can be patched up, come to find out the tire had a tire separation which looks like it s slashed but it really isn t slashed. I had to purchase a tire which for my car usually stores don t have them in stock and they checked their system and they had one, thank God! They gave me an amazing deal on it and was out the door within an hour or so, they took me in last minute and got me out quick. Incredible! I m so appreciative for all of them and this is the place to go! Continue striving because you are making it happen for us customers! Thanks again!

This place is on point. See Marcus up front he knows his business. Look, I'm happy. I thought I needed new brakes and rotors. But I actually needed more. A lot of places would just tell you & you wouldn't be sure. They took the time to show me the issues, and let me see the damage that had been done. The prices were what they should be, probably a little less. These guys do good honest business. Go here if you need your brakes and more done.

I look for Mavis anywhere I am for all of my automotive needs and services. They are the best...hands down! As a brand, they are the best in quality and service. No unnecessary add-ons and overcharging. Just go mechanics.

Need a tire checked for air leak and the nice man put air in the tire and told me to come back in 1 hour and 15 min. So I did. When I get back he tells me that he can not fix my tire because he has sent someone home and there is now 4 people head of me. If I would have waited we would have gotten me inBut now he cannot . So why did you tell me to come back?FYI THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO MY HUSBAND. I will not be Back

If you need an alignment, Mavis is definitely the place to go! Aaron was very helpful with my service as well as making sure I got a good discount! If you go to Mavis on San Jose ask for Aaron!

Pretty pathetic service from the front desk lady. She is incompetent, lazy, slow and carefree.There's only one guy who knows what he is doing, works mostly in the shop and helps out everyone else. I think he is the manager.I had all 4 brakes & rotors replaced, and brake oil flushed. Will see how long the new system holds up.

I purchased 4 new tires. Upon completion, all 4 rims/wheels looked as if they were finger painted on with chassis lube. The greasy mess had the consistency of Vaseline, but was darker in color. I took the car home and had to remove all 4 wheels off the car in order to properly clean them. While cleaning, I noticed that 3 out of 4 wheels had the balancing weights removed and no new weights were installed. I also found a screw in the driver side rear wheel. The parking lot had HUNDREDS of pieces of debris in it, so I'm guessing that's where I picked it up, as my ride home was only 2 miles. Brand new $1400 tires with 2 miles on them and a screw in one. I also noticed that the steering wheel/car has a vibration now that starts to build around 55mph - probably because the tires were never balanced.Unbelievable. Incredibly dissatisfied.

I really truly wish I could have a positive review here. They really helped me during a pinch while we were down for a visit. We had a tire separating and a long drive ahead of us. They were able to get the vehicle in to put new tires on in a very short time. They also recommended an alignment at the same time. This is where things went REALLY bad. They did such a poor job on the alignment that it made our long drive horrendous. I fought keeping the vehicle on the road because it felt like the vehicle was drifting all over the road and the alignment was set so far off the steering wheel was at a 45 degree angle. I called to complain and the best I got was take it to a Mavis near you have a nice day. I honestly would not have done business with them had I not been in a pinch. The reason I used them was to keep my family safe on the road trip but because of the lack of care on the alignment we still had a significant safety issue. Very disappointed!!Update...... Contacted the number in the response it is a Customer Service Call center that no one answers the line. I tried and get disconnected when I press option 2. Please don't act like you addressed anything.

I will NEVER return to this place again. I desperately needed to get the donut off my car I was originally quoted $21 for a simple patch up. Sheyanne and the short African American mechanic then came back and told me I d have to be $112 because this tire could not be repaired.. it was BRAND NEW!! I know they probably just patched this up and sold it as new after taking it off my car .. I m so irritated because I feel they took advantage of me the severity of my car .. HORRIBLE SERVICE just for more money. I d give ZERO stars if possible but it won t let me post the review without doing the LOWEST rating!! I ve never left a bad review but a day later I m having to figure something out because I spent money I was aging on this tire!! NEVER AGAIN !!!!
