The team at Mark Howard has been working on my car for nearly ten years. They're always honest and up front. It's never a guess how much my bill is going to be. It's just easy, the way it should be. And thats why I will always use Mark Howard for all my automotive needs and never go anywhere else.

This shop cost me hundreds of dollars with no repairs. I called this shop on 3 different occasions to get a quote for repairs for my car which is non drive-able . I explain to the lady who answered the phone what was wrong with my car and if that s something they can handle she said yes. I explained to her the car is non-drivaeble and it has to be towed to the shop. I called again 2 weeks ago to make sure this is something the shop handles. The same lady answered the phone and said yes. I also explain to her I have to get the car towed up there and will they be able to look at it then or do I need an appointment. She said they can look at it then and give my a quote. Today I towed my car to MarkAutomotive ( called this morning before paying for tow) and the guy who answered said yes they can look at my car. I paid to have my car towed to Mark Automotive and they turnt me down for service. He said they dont have time to look at my car and it will take days. Then goes on to say I should have called!!! Which I did 3 different times to see if there was anything I need to know or anything i need to do before paying got the tow. Take your car somewhere else!!

Highly recommend. John and his team fit me in with little notice for a pre purchase inspection of a used car. They were very detailed and great communicators. And reasonably priced. Thanks!

Several shops were unable to determine why my RV was not running, they broke it down and examined all the parts...now it'srunning great! They are amazing, an I am grateful I found them...

I brought my vehicle in when all of the lights on my dashboard were on. Mr. Howard said he would call in a couple of hours it was 8am. At almost 3 hours later I called to see what he found. By 2pm he had no diagnosis. After 3pm he told me it was a PCV plunger $295.63. By 530pm I paid and went to leave when I saw every light still on my dashboard. When I asked him about it he said that I was pushy for calling to learn what was wrong. I started the car and every single light was still on my dashboard. Of course he made excuses. Fine.The following morning when I started my car there was a clicking noise under the hood. I went back to Mark Howard and he was angry that I came back. He said the noise was normal . When I told him that I knew what my car sounded like he asked me to leave the property.When you see his reviews, look at the lowest score there you will find the truth.I m a 57 year old woman and he treated me poorly when I had questions and did not want to pay for a bulb that did not work.

I took my truck there, spent over $3,000 to get lifters and cam replaced, when they said they were finished and I picked my truck up it was running so bad, I couldn t believe a professional garage would give someone their vehicle back thinking they fixed it and it be so bad, took it back, when I got it back the second time it had a couple other issues that it didn t have before taking it there, and still wasn t running right, took it back a third time and they said they got it running right but wouldn t address the other issues, like they didn t cause the problems, things don t magically go wrong with a truck while it s at a mechanic shop! I spent so much money plus having spent $1,800 on a rental truck while my truck was broke down I really didn t want to take it to another mechanic and spend possibly thousands more, so I had to just trade it in, I lost a lot of money on trade in value because it wasn t running right. I would very highly recommend NOT taking your car here!!!

Don't expect a call from them. Either before they work on your vehicle, or after they "fix" it. $500 repairs magically turn into $1k repairs. They break things as they "repair" your vehicle, then wait for you to pickup before they tell you what else is wrong. All of which is because they broke it. Oh, they'll call you to come back after driving away, but not when they're done with the work, or to give you a quote on the work before they start. Hands down the worst experience at a mechanic I've ever had. I'm driving around without my AC now because I refuse to bring it back a third time to fix the things they broke. First time I brought it back cost me another $180 to fix something they broke in the first place. Didn't call me to ask permission, eluded to it being a good-will gesture to take a look at this new problem when I brought it back, and just installed parts without asking and without calling afterwards to say they'd done it. Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle somewhere else.I'd give them zero stars if I could.Service: General repairs & maintenance

They haven't worked on my car yet but I broke down today across the street I'm 8months pregnant and was very emotional the belt came off my car I walked over and asked them if they can do anything and he said if I leave my keys he will be sure to work on it as soon as they come back in the morning. I explained how I'm struggling financially and he said it should t be a hard fix they they can keep it as cheap as possible for me and I honestly feel like my cars at the right place will update tomorrow.

I have been using Mr. Howard's automotive repair services for about 9 or 10 years. He has always been honest, courteous, fair, and at times that I needed it, worked with me on the costs of the repair. He has always given an estimate, and has never done any unauthorized work to increase the repair bill. A lot of people use his services, so occasionally he is booked and may need a day or two to get to your repair. But that is a sign of a knowledgeable, fair, honest, customer centered auto repair person. He works on most makes and models, but you would need to call and ask him about warranty work. I highly recommend Mark Howard's automotive repair services to everyone in North East Florida and South East Georgia.

This place and the people who work there are absolute professionals. This is my first review I've written for a business because I feel this is so important to share and having trust in your mechanic is sometimes impossible these days. Services are more than fair and they are sympathetic to the fact that you need your car. You'll be hard pressed to find more efficient and fair service from a more knowledgeable staff. Yes, the place is small and has some "project cars" sitting out front, but don't be fooled: this place is A1.

Had the best experience with Mark Howard Automotive! Error code regarding my 2008 Nissan Altima s catalytic converter/exhaust manifold. I called and asked about getting the error code diagnosed. Diagnosis free because repair was done. I was able to leave my car and key in the drop box over night and they had the repair done the following afternoon. Great customer service, professional and knowledgeable mechanics, and prompt repair. Absolutely will return and recommend. Thanks for the great service!

Great shop to deal with!! I cannot say enough good things about this mechanic shop other than, you re a fool if you go anywhere else! I had work done here on my 2003 XC90 (Both drive axles replaced). A month later a manufacturing defect had one of the drive axles go out; having moved from Florida to Texas I was unable to take my car back to Mark Howard. Despite me moving away Mark and his team worked with me across state lines to not only get my part replaced under warranty but to also ensure that it was fixed right and at no cost to me. Good, honest, and fair with excellent customer service and a warranty you can actually depend on!

Went back & forth with 2 different Dodge dealerships for 6 months to figure out what was wrong with my charger spent over 1k & they didn't solve the problem. Someone referred me to Mark Howard & my man John figured the problem out in 1 day. Love these guys

My wife had a flat tire across the street from Mark Howard Automotive late after work. She walked over to the auto repair shop and asked for some help with changing the tire as she could not get the jack under the car. Not only did they help, they patched the tire on the spot and would not take any compensation for it. They were very friendly and my wife felt very safe. Thanks again!

I recently moved here from Ohio and someone from a competitor actually referred me to Mark. He said that "you won't be sorry that you go there!" and I wasn't. He called me back right away and got my car in the next day for repairs. Everyone there was very knowledgeable and honest. I will be sure to recommend him to my friends as well! Great job Mark! So we initially had good experiences with Mark and his crew. Several months ago we had overheating problems with our minivan. Took it to them and it sat for a month. Yes, a month. At the beginning I called once or twice a week to see what was going on and they "were going to take a look at it." Finally, after a month they did, I guess, because they told me that the bread was probably warped because of the overheating and gasses from the engine were getting into the coolant and causing it to heat up right away. The repair was going to be $1500-2000. I told them thanks but I'd be over to pick it up.When I got there the battery was dead and the front headlight had been smashed. When I asked about that nobody knew anything. Frustrated I jump started the been and took it home.My son and his friend ended up fixing it. Bad sensor and a clogged radiator.My wife won't let me take anything there anymore...

NO NEED TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE!I was referred over to MH last summer and I couldn't be happier with their work. Both Mark and his son John are extremely kind and considerate people. Saved me from being ripped off at the dodge dealership. After the dealership replaced the subframe they tried saying my struts went bad.
