Hard work, knowledge and integrity are a rare combination in this day and age. I found all three at Johnny Boys Garage in Jacksonville. And their pricing is very reasonable. On my last car problem my costs were about 30% less than the next lowest quote. I recommend this business without reservation. Thank you Lee and Rene!!!

If you're searching for a top-notch mechanic shop here in Jacksonville, look no further than Johnny Boys Garage. I've had the pleasure of visiting this establishment twice, and both times they efficiently and reasonably resolved my car issues. What truly sets them apart is their honesty they don't invent non-existent problems to inflate the bill. I genuinely appreciate their integrity in this regard. Additionally, the owners provide excellent customer service. Johnny Boys Garage is definitely a gem in the automotive world!

I do apologize that my review is late. Came across this mechanic through research digging as I had a maintenance package that my vehicle needed I was very pleased with the work they did on my vehicle when I brought it in. I was also more pleased when they went as far to show me the old parts as well as check my brakes for me Thanks guys, looking forward to doing more business with you in the near future Thanks

Very happy that our car broke down literally 2 min away from this place. We were on the way to Miami, passing by Jacksonville when our car acted out and stopped working properly. They were super nice and helped us within 15 min. We are so thankful for helping us out quickly, so we could be on our way! Great experienced mechanic and great place!Service: Auto maintenance

I never write reviews, but for Lee and Renee I give them 5 stars. We have had many bad experiences in other shops here in Jacksonville. We were looking for an honest mechanic and we went to Lee after reading the reviews (all five stars). They did not disappoint. Prices are fair and he always makes time to help us with our two working vans and my wife's car. Lee correctly diagnoses the issue and fixes it. Anyone looking for a good and honest mechanic, go with Lee and Renee. As if that wasn't enough, they're also very nice people.

Johnny Boys is the only garage I will use to have my car worked on. Lee and Renee are absolutely great. They are honest, reliable, thoughtful, and do great work. I ve had 2 cars since being in Jacksonville and they have worked on both. Highly recommend. I started hearing weird noises when I brake so I found Johnny Boys Garage and Lee helped me take a look. Turns out it was just a twig stuck under the car, but Lee still checked all my brakes and tires to make sure. I tried to pay him for his trouble but wouldn't even accept it! Will definitely come here for any and auto-related issues in the future.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Johnny Boys Garage had to REDO ALL repairs where a well known auto repair shop did and he did a excellent job. Johnny and his wife are the nicest people Ever. Thank you Johnny for your excellent work and fixing my car. The Lord won't let me name the shop that damaged my vehicle but to save your money and headaches just bring your car here. They have reasonable rate and are very very honest people. I was on a quick trip to Jacksonville and only had 1 full day to spend in town, unfortunately my car s thermostat broke on the way in. Johnny s got me in so quickly, told me exactly what was wrong, and had it back to me within 2 hours! Not to mention they were very friendly and way less expensive than i was expecting! 10/10 highly recommend Johnny Boys!Service: General repairs & maintenance

A friend turned me onto Johnny Boys few yrs back and glad he did. Lee and Renee are my kind of people. Treat you good and do great work in timely fashion. Never had any completes about using em for repairs. They've done bunch of different repairs for my car, from timing belt and oil change to engine replacement. (when my engine went they were beyond helpful and speedy af getting it fixed and returned to me.) that's why I keep going back.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, A/C installation & repair, Oil change

Truly genuine mechanics. Lee looked briefly if he could get us going, and stopped when he knew anything further, would be wasted time and energy for both; his customer and himself, and gave me the best advice, "this electronic problem will be best addressed by a MB Dealer", because Johnny Boys Garage's goal is to fix your car, period, nothing else, and that is harder and harder to find. I felt like I was being helped by our neighbor when I was a kid at the farm. where I was only passing true, braking down, luckily, only 4 minutes from Johnny Boys Garage on our way to upstate NY. So yes, no wonder Lee couldn't communicate with the OBDII, the two, front & rear SAMs (Signal Acquisition Module) we're wet as a rag, and the root 'cause of that flooding ? None, just aging seals and bad German Engineering, one was dried and saved the front one replaced but I have to praise the Jacksonville MB Dealer who fixed at a really fare price and the service was excellent, almost as good as Johnny Boys Garage which is the reference for service in my book.

Fantastic service, great, honest and fair pricing!! We were on vacation in Jacksonville last week and found ourselves with serious car issues. The starter had gone out in the Ford Expedition we had borrowed from a family member for the trip. Car repairs are scary enough, but to be faced with one out of state, 850 miles from home is terrifying. They didn't try to sell me on unnecessary repairs, and were incredibly friendly and professional. After replacing our starter, another problem with the key ignition arose, they notified me of the situation and quickly resolved the problem. They even picked me up at the hotel we were stranded at when the repair was finished, so I could get the vehicle. I would also like to add that they finished all the work for less than original estimate. Anyone in the Jacksonville area would be a fool to not take all of your car care needs to this shop!!! Five star service all thevway around!!!

Excellent knowledge and ethical business repaired a lot of little things that I didn t notice no charge best mechanic I ve found in 55 years of driving just a great place to take your car. WORK FAR EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS

We had our car break down suddenly. Lee got the car in first thing the next morning and had it ready to go that afternoon. He showed me the broken parts. I highly recommend them.

I brought in my lower control arm to have the ball joint pressed out and a new one pressed in. It was an easy job with the right tools. They got it done in a timely manner and at a reasonable rate.

I went into the shop Monday afternoon with my truck having a major transmission issues.Lee immiedialty stopped what he was doing and put his scanner on it and diagnosed the issue .Upon full inspection of my truck that he diagnosed he promptly ordered all the necessary parts needed and even stayed late after hours for me to get my truck back to me for work being a project manager in the field ....The truck runs and shifts perfectly and is like brand new again...I will recommend him to everyone I know with vehicle issues..
