This company was amazing. I was here visiting grand-daughters and my car fan would not shut off. They fit me right in and ordered the part, installed it and I was on my way so quickly. Very nice group of men working there and so glad they were able to help me out! Thank you so much!!!

Called on a Monday morning to see if they could get me in. Dropped my car off 45 minutes later. The next day it was fixed and I was charged a very reasonable price. Couldn't recommend these guys more.

John s Automotive will be my go to shop from now on. They are a small family owned location so you have to be patient with them, but they are quick, friendly, honest and they will get the job done right and not to mention their prices are amazing!! Another company wanted to charge me over $1000 for a tune up, I went to Johns Automotive and they gave me an awesome price for the same services. I have been here twice and both times 10/10 would recommend!

This is a small family owned business that my husband and I ha e been taking our vehicles to for at least 12 years. He is honest and trustworthy. There was a time when he said he would fix something on one of our vehicles. However, he recommended that we take it to another individual who specialized in that specific area. In my opinion, that is someone who is looking out for CUSTOMERS, not his wallet!! I highly respect and recommend this mechanic!!

Price and workmanship are practically unbeatable. Cheaper than a brand name garage and honest. Quote came in lower than expected and system works flawlessly now. The only thing is, get there early. First come first serve basis and because of John's superior business ethics, the garage fills up fast

I started taking my car here because a friend of mine told me he took his vehicles here and they are locally owned and trustworthy. They've always been very direct and honest about any repairs and I feel like my car is in good hands. Recently, I've had an issue with my car's cooling system possibly leaking fluids and it has baffled two other mechanics so I took my car to John's. They had replaced a coolant outlet housing and gasket recently so I asked them look into in. They couldn't find the leak either after 2 days of working on it. No charge! They put a fluorescent dye in my coolant so when/if it leaks again, a UV light with reveal the flow path of the leak. Genius. Part of me is hoping it won't leak again but the other part of me is okay if it does. Not only to find out if this diagnostic method works, but also because the mechanics are handsome.Update:The fluorescent dye worked! John found and fixed my leak for FREE and Kia was going to charge me $900 for the job! I m so glad I found these guys.

I am very thankful I brought my car to John s Automotive. My breaks stopped working in my Ford Escape. The part I needed was on a National back order. I found a refurbished part and John agrees he would install it. My breaks work now and the price was not bad at all! Thank you so much!! Very professional and very good prices! 5star!

Dropped my truck off about 2 weeks ago because it wasn't cooling like I thought it should be. I dropped it off soon as they opened. No one ever called me, so I called them round 2:30. Guy was really nice and told me they were running behind. Told him that was fine, hell I can come get it tomorrow. Got a call back 30 minutes later saying I had a leak in my evaporator core and it will cost $1100 to fix. I didn't get repair, and my truck was blowing hotter. So I took it somewhere else. They put dye in it and found no leak and filled it up with freon for $120. I wanted to wait 2 weeks to write review to monitor truck. Til this day my old truck been blowing like it's brand new. All I can think is thank God I only paid them $60 for a diagnosis instead of $1100 to fix it.Service: A/C installation & repair

I ve used John s Automotive for over 10yrs! He has worked on 3 different cars and fixed an issue for my father in law who was moving & driving from Florida to Arizona. He has always been fair, honest & professional be it with my wife, myself and family. I just had to use him Wednesday Jan 26th 2022 and again was honest, didn t try to make me pay for things not needed and had my car back in under 24hrs with having to do $1300 worth of work and the car is back to is smooth driving self! My first experience with John's,Well I decided to try these guys out based on their reviews and ladies and gentlemen...they did not disappoint! My primary focus on services that I frequent have 3 categories, honesty, Integrity, and reliability. After having done a bit of research on what I assumed was wrong with my vehicle, I had a pretty good understanding of several price ranges for the kinds of repairs. When asked for a quote on these services, I was quoted well under what the average cost showed up as on google. After having my vehicle for a whopping 1 hour (assuming that it would take several days) I got a phone call from John saying that not only was the problem not what I thought it was, but again, it would be far less expensive to repair than even the quote that he gave me.upon hearing this I decided to have him fix other issues that I was aware of, as I had already planned on the vehicle being in the shop for a week. He replaced busted window regulators for half the cost of what my old mechanics charged me, and then fixed my ac which required him to tear apart the dash to get to, and had everything back together in less than a day. All in all, it was 3 days to have my engine repaired, my windows fixed and my ac completely disassembled and repaired and for thousands less than other mechanics would have charged me. So,Honesty: yes,he didn't overcharge me and actually fixed my problems for cheaper than he initially quoted. He didn't try to upsell me, he didn't add anything that didn't need to be done. He earned every penny that was charged and I would happily do it again.Integrity: yeshe gave me honest assessments from the start and upheld what he said and then checked in with me every step of the way to keep me well updated and informed of what had been done and to see if there was anything further I would like looked at.Reliability: well, he did everything I asked of him and did quality work for a reasonable price, and met a timeline that was very important. So, that would be another Yes.If you need work done on your vehicle, don't gamble with other mechanics, these guys are incredible and I will not be taking my vehicle anywhere else! I'm truly upset that I wasted my time and money with other mechanics in the past when I could have been coming here the whole time. Great work guys. I will NEVER take my vehicles anywhere else than John's Auto. I'm headed up there now for an oil change. Have you been ripped off at the quickie oil grifters? Do they hit you for a bunch of services you don't need? There is a solution, and it John's Auto. Kind, Courteous. and Absolutely efficient. Work done from stem to stern on a not so easy PT Cruiser with Turbo. As a former shop manager of over 165 taxi cabs on kings rd back in 80's and 90's, I had to get at least a couple hundred thousand miles out of each cab in order to do it right. AT LEAST. Supervised 8 mechanics, 2 front end specialist, and two transmission specialist. Also had 4 stall body shop. Our secret for success was "do it right the first time". If car came back for same thing, the same mechanic fixed it on own time. Unless it was faulty equipment. Once again I went to Johns Auto on Arlington Road. I am 79 years old now. One thing I don't like, is having to go back for same thing, because: John's Automotive on Arlington Rd said it was ready, and ready meant ready. Great Job by obvious Professional Mechanics, and Good People to deal with So, in short, if you want it done, and want it done right the first time, it's John's Automotive. Fair Prices, and Great Work on a hard car to work on. If you care about your car, give Johns Automotive the keys, and get it back right the first time. I would never go to a stay in your car while we speed through an oil change, and when I need service, even an oil change. I'm going to John's. If your fussy about your car, and want it done right, give them a try. Bob

Finding a good Mechanic shop can be scary..but in my experiences, John's is the best.Just had my starter replaced. After dropping my car off I didn't have to call them.they called me promptly after checking my vehicle and told me what they recommended and offered a reasonable price. They fixed it and had it back to me by the end of the day.

Went In for just fluids exchange on a bigger vehicle. Ram Promaster- Break/ steering an coolant. I should been more specific OME fluids but with their expertise I thought they would of known. Break an steering fluid was different color compared to my last so hopefully won t cause no issues down the line. Coolant was right. I did notice coolant all over the place near reservoir an underneath even on the bell housing that wasn t wiped down. Other than that Johns a solid guy pricing was fair an timing was great!

On June 19th I was having issues with my car overheating. I didn t know the cause and I didn t think they would be able to fix it. They told me to wait 30 minutes so my truck could cool down. Then he came and told me my adapters that powered my fans were fried and he would clip them add new ones. The cost was not only fair but way less than what I expected, the service was excellent, and that was the second time this shop saved me from major work being done on my car. Thank you to all the crew Johnny, Sean, Charlie, and of course John the owner. I appreciate everything you did and do!

We had our AC "repaired" at Firestone and it blew cold for one day. I took it back to Firestone the next day and they wanted to charge me an additional $900 on top of the $335 that we had already paid and they wouldn't guarantee the work. I called John's Automotive and they told me to bring it in. Not only did they diagnose the exact problem (which is not what Firestone was saying it was), their prices were reasonable and they warranty their work. My AC has been blowing cold ever since. I have since been back for an oil change for my daughter's car and for a leak in my water pump and have been extremely pleased with the service. If you are looking for an honest, quality mechanic, this is the place to go!Services: General repairs & maintenance, A/C installation & repair

Great service! My engine light came on and I was beyond stressed. Took it to John's and within an hour, they told me what was wrong. Among multiple things, they suggested what should be fixed first and most importantly to avoid further damage. Its not often you find shops that provide that information. Most will take advantage of my situation and say "it all needs to be fixed now" but that wasn't the case here.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I've been a customer for over 10 years. They do great work. I've had them work on all my cars over those years and have always had a great experience. You will always get a straight answer and he won't try and rip you off by fixing things that aren't broken! From an oil change to an engine swap.... I recommend John's!
