STOP!! DON T DO IT!! Do NOT use Jim s Custom Refinishing!! Our son s car was rear ended and we took it to Jim s on April 28th. It was finally repaired and ready for pickup on Jan. 24th! That s right 271 days later!!! Almost 9 full months!! We heard every excuse, they needed parts, they had the parts, they needed parts again, they had the parts, they needed more parts again, the parts they had didn t work. They had covid 4 or 5 times and couldn t come to work. They had the flu 4 or 5 times and couldn t come to work. They couldn t figure out how to fix it so it went to the Lexus dealer for about a month. We were told they would call or text us with updates and didn t unless I sent repeated text messages asking for updates. The pictures I have uploaded are the vehicle on October 10th, 6 months after they had the vehicle. After we picked of the SUV and drove it we discovered that part of the front wheel well was not fully attached! Don t worry we will fix it ourselves because we don t want the vehicle gone for a moth while they try and put 3 bolts in to fix it. Again, if you don t not have your car for almost a year I would recommend NOT to use them.

They did an awesome job on my 2021 Chevy Colorado. It looks brand new!!! They aim to please When Jim says he loves what he does he really means it and let s not forget his amazing team that also loves what they do too. Great group of guys. Very satisfied and thanks again for your hard work AND time!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. We used this company in May to fix some damaged paint spots on the hood and other parts of the car. When we picked up the car it was difficult to see how it turned out due to the rain and bad lighting. When we returned home we could see how horrible it looked. It was bubbled and the color didn t match, and there was silver overspray all under the bumper on the back part that has air intakes. We called Jim immediately and he was very pleasant and said to bring it back and he would make it right. We brought it back a few days later. He told us that removing the bumper was not part of the original scope so if we wanted him to repaint the the overspray (which he totally denied that he would did, yet the car had never been sprayed before) that would be another $500. Out of complete frustration we agreed to this. When we got the car back it was still not right but we were so frustrated and upset that we just ended our involvement with Jim. It s Ot was clear that no matter how many times we brought it back it would not be done professionally. I wouldn t recommend this company.

Found this place through Google. I scratched up my new X5 trying to remove some grease. Pulled in on a Tuesday morning and he had my car looking as good as new in 20 minutes for a fair price. Did a great job! Highly recommend!

We recently took my 2013 Buick Verano to Jim to have the hood, roof and trunk repainted due to oxidation. We were quoted a fair price and timeline and he also agreed to fix my clouded headlamps. I was honestly unsure that the headlamps could be fixed. The paint was a perfect match and my headlamps sparkle! I am completely satisfied with the finished product! My car looks as it did when I drove it from the showroom!I recommended Jim to anyone who needs work done on their vehicle.

Extremely upset with this company. Would NOT recommend them.They quoted my grandson $1200-$1500 to complete a paint job. Also, during the inspection of the vehicle, Rick, one of the techs, noticed a small dent. He notified my grandson about the dent and stated if he wanted to repair that as well, the cost would be $1500, and if pays cash, would be given a discount.When the car was ready for pickup, was then advised the cost would be $1800 by the owner. This was NEVER agreed upon, nor did they get approval for that amount. He was advised the max would be $1500 (paint & dent repair) with a discount if paid in cash.Upon calling the owner, he was extremely rude to my grandson (conversation was on speaker phone) and that Rick advised him of the $1800 (which he did not) and had an attitude with him. My grandson kept trying to explain to the owner that since he himself owns a business when he gives his customers an estimate, you must stick to that estimate and if it going to be more, then notify the customer for an approval.The Manager of this company told my grandson NOT to tell him how to run his business and he will do what he wants with his customers. This is EXTREMELY unprofessional. I would advise ANYONE WHO GETS WORK DONE HERE, get it in writing the estimate you are being told so you can have LEGAL documentation of such. Also filed complaint with the BBB. DO NOT GO HERE!! Warning... Don't want this to happen to anyone else. Everyone works hard for their money, to have a company take advantage of them.

Jims custum refinishing is a fraudulant business. They took 6 months to return an incomplete, twisted car. The car was never right aftwr the accident and had multiple missing parts. The paint matching was terrible and they did not install parts they agreed to call. When you call and try to ask for an update you get the same run around over and over I would not reccomend this place to my worst enemy

MIKE IS AMAZING. I went in with a few scratches and he stopped what he was doing just to fix my problem. Low cost and very quick. I wasn t here for 20 minutes and he s already finished. Great service. Very nice and helpful. I offered a tip he told me to keep it.

Someone scraped the side of my car, looked awful. I took the car in and was able to leave it that day, they even gave me a ride home. It was ready the next afternoon! They had fixed everything and it looks perfect. Great people, fast service and fair prices.

Recently I backed into a heavy still pole and received damage to my car. Weekly I detail my car, so if a scrap or scratch gets on my car - I am hurt. After obtaining a bid from an auto dealer, which was HIGH, I deceived to locate a repairman for my car that I had previously thought about; for some reason on St John Bluff Road. Best Googling I ever did and the hands on approach to getting the look back to my car. The professionalism, friendliness, and perfection to detail that I received on my car is second to none. Give Jim s Custom Refinishing a call for your job.

This is a great body shop. They do body work and painting properly. Their price was fair and they delivered on schedule. It is without reservation that I highly recommend them.

Jim was super quick. I got in accident 2 days ago he fixed it in a day. Looks better than when I got it after he was finished. Did an amazing job Thanks Jim. Recommend to all my friends

Went here off referral to fix my sons car after an accident. He had it from March-August!! One excuse after another about incorrect parts coming in and poor workmanship which needed readdressing. Wish I'd let insurance co. total the car. It was never right again.

Jim is awesome my bumper had a nice dent and deep scratches in the paint and now it looks even better than it did before. He gets the job done and doesn t cut any corners. Also very friendly and communicates very well.

Jim is an expert at what he does and does not over charge like most of the other shops. He is reliable, trustworthy and an Artist with paint and vehicles. My car looks Fantastic!!

( 2017 Nissan Armada). I needed my headlights restored and. Jim did an Excellent job! Very fast ,friendly and professional. No corners were cut..I will definitely bring my truck back for more work.

Best body shop in Jacksonville!!!! Jimmy literally is a Jack of all trades and can do it all! Fiberglass repairs, aviation, vehicle restoration, collision repair, and of course he can paint ANYTHING, etc. I would know, People just seem to crash into me , he's fixed my car way to many times to say He's the cat's a** love that guy!

Jim and John were the dynamic duo who worked extensively on the car. I came in with custom headlights that were manufactured in Taiwan. Despite the multiple roadblocks, they were people of their word and delivered exceptional service seeking to deliver excellence wherever they could. If you are looking for experts in the field that work on your car, aircraft, boat, you have to check these two out. There's no competition.
