Don t said nobody told you so Everything will start off as if they are the nicest persons to work with and you will go feeling you are in good hands which for someone like me who is her first time in this type of situation is appreciated but then when things go sideways workers like Stacey will make you regret the day you choose to leave your car there she is by far the rudest person in that shop treating customers poorly and having an overall actitud and I quote it s not my problem and it s your fault for having aftermarket headlight My car was hit while parked, and my front was messed up I took it to another shop but they gave me a very long date while Gerber advise they could get my car in a week and out by the same, it took them 3 weeks to finally get my car and by the time I finally pick it up see for yourself that my headlights are a happy mess because from the beginning they never did anything to change them even after I made myself clear to the insurance and them when I dropped the car that they where malfunctioning after the accident but Stacey told the insurance that only one of them needed change but both were drivable and had passed a condensation test which clearly they were either lying or the test is malfunctioning as you can see them both heavily fogging in the pictures Not only my headlights but a tire sensor is also off after the accident and they won t reset it neither do anything about it and the sensor that lets you know when you are getting into another line is not working and that one was perfectly fine since I got my car So aftermath I have to purchase a headlight out of my pocket to match the one that after enduring the disrespect of these persons such as Stacey, Becky who doesn t understand a word I say over the phone now I have to also pay for the sensor of the tire and the lane one to get them reset or changed The manager Mr Jeffery Young will no keep his word in calling you to keep you updated and do not trust their word of we would figure it out because it simply never happen, every time I called and asked for him I was told he was gone for the day or simply not put through at all, the email on his business card is either a joke or never checked/ignored I will put a formal claim with the insurance and headquarters also know that I m not the only one that has went into a similar situation

I highly recommend they were extremely professional and helpful kept me with plenty of updates about my vehicle. To top that I didn t have a way to pick up my vehicle they offered to come get me. My vehicle is good as new and I m extremely satisfied with the staff & the outlook of my investment (car)

I will shout this auto shop's praises from the rooftops (Debutante Dr, Jacksonville, FL)! First, they work as a team in the most efficient way possible! Becky is professional, friendly, and keeps the customer well informed on the status of the work order snd completion goal. Joanne at the front desk is orderly, kind, and welcoming. Jeffrey, who lead the body work of my new car that received a slew of damage made it look brand new again, and for that, along with the teamwork from the front of the shop to the back, I am grateful! Thank you all again! JOY is in you all!

They had to change the headlights and they didn't, and they told lies, supposedly they said they were fine when I told them they weren't fine which they said they tested them in water which wasn't true because the lights were still the same as when take the car with the problem!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TALKER TO ANYONE, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP, ALSO THE RECEPTIONISTS HAVE VERY BAD FORM WHEN TALKING AND VERY BAD ATTITUDE, MAINLY Stacey HAS NO FORM WHEN TALKING TO CUSTOMERS AND DOESN'T KNOW WHAT SHE'S SAYING NOR DOESN'T KNOW ABOUT THE PARTS THAT YOU MAY TAKE OR REPLACEMENT, please do not take your car to that workshop, do not waste your time because you will end up with a bigger problem!!!

Not at all interested in customer service. I happened to be driving by and stopped in for a quick estimate on a simple repair job (windshield replacement and touch up some minor rust around the window frame). The receptionist wouldn't even bother getting anyone. She just said they only take insurance, no personal pay work. Even though I said half the work is insurance, she still wouldn't send anyone out. This company is clearly phoning it in and using their business as tax shelter as they are not interested at all in customer service or sales.UPDATE: Stating that someone has already contacted me to discuss this issue when in fact no one has only further examplifies their lack of commitment to customer service, or honesty for that matter.

We had an amazing experience from Gerber. I mean absolutely incredible. I m sure I m going to butcher my helpers name, but she was a lovely melanated lady who s name started with a D and i don t know how to spell it but she was BEYOND wonderful, very informative, she kept us up to date with our truck, and she was so incredibly nice and caring. Very relatable and easy to talk to. We were in an accident and our claims process was not the easiest and we felt frustrated at first, but after getting the appointment and meeting with Ms. D, her kindness and the vibe of the whole shop really put us at ease. I will always choose gerber for any body or paint repairs I may need in the future. Thanks again!!P. S. My vehicle looks better now than when we drove it off the lot at carmax!! I had a phenomenal experience dealing with Gerber Collision & Glass. Their work was top-notch, it was done in a timely manner, and the service was exceptional. They made the drop-off a seamless experience, kept me informed every step of the way, and returned my car looking brand new (thanks to the auto body and cleaning/detailing folks there!) A big thank you to Rich who explained everything, ensured my rental was there the morning I dropped it off, and even opened my car door for me when my car was ready for pick-up. While the auto body part of my repair was fine, when I received my car back, the air conditioning did not work. I remembered that one of the last things I was told that needed to be done before I could pick up the car up (which happened to be 1 month later) was an AC recharge. I called them within a week of picking up my car that the AC was going in and out. I eventually took it back for a recharge, and was told it was something to do with a battery sensor and needed to take it to Hyundai.Took it to Hyundai and was told that the Negative battery sensor was disconnected (I ve never touched this in or anything under my hood in my life). This was reconnected by the dealership at a $180 diagnosis fee out of my own pocket. While this still has hasn t solved the problem of my AC working it s something that shouldn t have been overlooked by Gerber. I ll likely go support a mom/pop AC repair specialist.I do not recommend Gerber at Debutante.

Steve and Becky were great. From start to finish they kept me in the loop the entire time. Were a great go between for communication when needed for both the insurance company and car rental agency. Completed the work ahead of schedule. And, most importantly, my vehicle looks great. You'd never know it had been in a collision. (Oh, they even cleaned the inside of the vehicle) Great work and customer service

I would like to thank Denesha Rivers for everything that she did. I had a car accident.. I was so scared and didn't know what to do. she calmed me down and gave me a guideline about the process and what i have to do. Denesha is professional, hardworking and very kind I wish her the best.. I also recommend this place.

I was originally given the Gerber Collision and Glass repair shop on Debutante by my insurance company after side swiping a tree. I had never needed repairs done before and they walked me through every step of the way. They kept me updated through phone and texts every other day about which stage of my car was being worked on that day. Once my car was just about finished, my husband was admitted to the hospital and my world turned upside down. They worked hard to finish my vehicle so that way I could have one less thing to worry about. The next day, my car wouldn't start as I tried getting out of the parking lot at the hospital. In the midst of my mental break down, the folks at the Debutante location Gerber went out of their way to help me get my car going again and I will forever remember the exceptional people who truly care about their customers. I can't thank them enough for their kindness and their willingness to go above and beyond.

Multiple times I have come in. The quality of body work was great! But when I said that my parking sensor wasn't working (it worked great before and after the accident) they said they would call me back. Waited then ended up going to honda. Honda found that they forgot to plug in the sensor when they were done with the body work. I was out 400$ and brought it up to them. They said they would get back with me. They haven't made an attempt. Active duty navy and can't spend every day calling or driving to this place. Recommend another collision center!

My little Honda CR-Z was struck on Christmas Eve while my husband and I were going to dinner at St. John's Town Center. My insurance company had me go to Gerber Collision on Debutante Drive for the repairs, and I am so glad we did. The service was great, I was informed by text, daily how the repairs were coming along. When I picked my car up, it looked brand new, everything detailed and clean, and they even touched up a little nick on the back of the car, which had been there before the accident. Melanie and Becky were so calm and reassuring, as I called a couple of times with questions. I am so happy with the great care at this location!

From the moment I called to schedule my car repair appointment until pick up day my experience was nothing but the best. I received an update every Tuesday and Thursday about the repair progress. Exceptional customer service hands down. I was treated like family. Very chill and laid back environment. Special thanks to Becky for your kindness and patience answering all of my questions and concerns. To top it all off my pick up date was earlier than expected! I thought they did a beautiful job fixing the front of my Equinox--the fascia was torn off and it had whacked the fender. Beautiful paint, neat work, washed the car nicely before returning it. The front desk staff is particularly friendly and helpful--not always the case at car repair places. This was the second collision repair I have had there and, while this time it was insurance so I went where they told me, I would continue to go there with my own money on the line.

I had the most positive experience getting my SUV repaired at Gerber Collision after a wreck. Technician Steve Harris was knowledgeable and really went the extra mile to ensure everything was repaired correctly. I was also very appreciative of the office professional Becky who called to provide updates periodically while my vehicle was being repaired. She was careful to set my expectations accurately based on the situation with parts, paint, etc. The attention to detail at Gerber Collision on Debutante Drive in Jax cannot be surpassed! You will not regret choosing Gerber for your repairs needs.

My friend referred me to Gerber Collision after my boyfriend messed up his front bumper. The service was above and beyond what I expected! The office staff was exceptionally pleasant and very personable. My boyfriend was initially worried because we went the cheaper route and got an off-market bumper, but with the great work at Gerber Collision, you can t even notice a difference. We both work evening/night shifts so when it was time to pick up the car we ran into a problem of when we would be able to pick it up; but not only did Gerber Collision bring the car to us, they even detailed it! On top of that, when I called to figure out payment, they were willing to work with me and made it stress-free, I was able to rest easy knowing I was in good hands.This is a great place to take your vehicle when needing repairs.

Gerber Collision & Glass Repair gave me the best customer service I have ever had at a repair shop. They were fast, polite, didnt talk down to me, and gave great customer service. Red the manager fixed my minivan personally and had it fixed the next day. Do yourself a favor and go to this Gerber Collision & Glass Repair on Debutante.

I had the greatest experience with Garber Collision! The accident was so stressful and dealing with the insurance company of the guy who hit me made it even more stressful. Red and the team at Garber alleviated all of that stress. Not only did they have my car done 3 days ahead of schedule, they also gave it back to me spotless! They were friendly and kept me up to date on everything. My car is back to looking brand new! Thank you so much to all of you!

Becky and Red at Gerber Collision and Glass on Debutante Dr. did an outstanding job of providing me world class customer service in repairing my SUV. They explained the entire process, with timeframes and expectations on the repair. They called with daily updates on the repair and kept my insurance company in the loop o. the process. My repair was completed on time without any issues. This is a great company to use for auto body repairs.

Being able to text the team was super helpful not only to keep me updated but so I could plan around my pick up time. The work on my car looks absolutely amazing and I m super satisfied, I thought there would be a difference in paint color but it matched perfectly. They also cleaned and detailed my car, the service was above and beyond and I thoroughly appreciate everything They did and would highly recommend. Thank you to everybody who helped with my car!

So far so good! Red and Rebecca have helped me get my car back back to working order they helped me the entire way. When they accidentally lost my floor mats they bought me brand new ones. and right now they're helping me with the mechanical issues on my car recommending good mechanics to help me. All in all a wonderful job and wonderful people.

Used them for in insurance claim. Was expecting such a hassle, but it was the complete opposite. Rich was amazing and kept me informed. He told me up front what days he does updates on, and even though I wasn't able to answer my phone because I was at work, he left detailed messages. While I hope I dont need any more work on any of my cards, this would be the place that I go to. Rich and his team were amazing. And my car looks great!!
