I've had my daughter's car at this location twice in the past year and 4 months. The first time everything seemed to be fine. Most recently, there was a delay in service. Dropped the vehicle off Tuesday morning, call them back in the afternoon as I had not heard anything yet. I've had multiple vehicles and multiple shops over the years. And usually Within 5 or 6 hours they can at least let you know what they found. They said they were busy and would try to get to it in the morning. As this was not a pre-scheduled service. I was fully understandable of this. When I called on Wednesday afternoon to check the status. I was told that the battery was on a triple charge as the voltage was too low for them to check the vehicle. I've never heard this but I'm not exactly familiar with vehicles built after 2010. On Thursday around noon and I called and the vehicle still had not even been checked. So I picked up my daughter and we picked up the vehicle took it to another location. Dropped it off in the morning. Picked it up in the evening. Everything was checked. No issues were noted. I had the oil changed and they gave me some things to keep in mind for the next couple of scheduled service items coming up on the vehicle over the next 1 to 2 years. That is the kind of service I would expect. Going back to George Moore, I can only assume that they were understaffed during that 3-day period. Maybe some people were out on vacation or there was some illness. I had not personally been into their service area before. But I didn't notice when I went in. That it did not seem overly large. Maybe there's a larger service area around back that I had not noted. So my honest review is mixed. No issue with the first visit last year. But I don't think I'll be back for any further visits. Nothing against the company. I just think I may have found a dealership that I mesh a little bit better with.

ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL!!Scottie and Seth who are both in the Service Department went above and beyond to help me and my family get the repairs on my 2011 Camaro's A/C when it decided to turn into the heating system in my car! My Family who is in Cali was allowed to pay for the repairs,and I,who live on the Southside of Jacksonville was able to just deliver it,and pick it up when it was done!Scottie coordinated everything with my Mother,and was extremely patient in explaining everything that needed to be done,and why. Seth was my point of contact,and he handled me calling several times with patience and was Awesome when I actually was able to speak to him at length! Thes are 2 GREAT GUYS,and I sincerely appreciate what they did for my Family,my Baby("Destiny"-my Burghundy Baby),and for me!Services: Auto A/C recharge, Auto A/C replacement, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

This job is a joke, I wouldn't recommend no one to work here they lie about the pay and they work you like a dog. I feel like they where racist and they want you to be the "do boy " but it's all good , ....they talk down to people like asking you what you doing n i know u see what I'm doing . Just dumb stuff .trying to micro manage ppl . and that's why they can't keep no one in the porter position all ways hiring can't keep nobody with a uneducated GM for this company and it shows. George Moore Chevrolet can kiss my you know what.

Took my new 2023 Traverse in for a 1000 mile oil change. Had an appt. Arrive about 15 mins early. Waited about 2hrs.They had a nice coffee stand which I appreciated. Just wish the lids fit better..oops. Sorry guys. I think they also had popcorn.Nice waiting area.The staff was friendly and seemed knowledgeable .I would probably go there again if I'm back in town, but I'll try to drop the car,Not wait. It's not a jiffy lube. (Although my last trip to jiffy lube at San pablo/Atlantic took 3 hours!!)

Took my truck in and was there dropped it off was told I could pick it up by 12 next day it came and gone I called them around 3 they told me part is ordered will ne here tomorrow said i would pick it up tomorrow 12 again. Nope had to call finally said oh was just going to call you and it's ready. He new a day before what it was coming in for but waited next day when I brought it in and he said he just ordered the part that day. Just was not happy. Should have been ordered the day I brought it in so that it would be ready waiting on the truck next day when I left the truck. Said they would was and clean inside nope even had parts tools left in my truck.

We "SOOO" needed a new car battery but it was a busy Saturday. But, we gave the George Moore team an opportunity, hoping they could work us in. Within 1.5 hrs we had a new battery. Didi, the efficient service mgr, just "made it happen!" Technicians came to us, did all of the tests, made the decision, they had the battery, "presto" installed! If we need any further service for our 2018 Equinox --- we're seeing Didi at George Moore for an appointment!

After the service advisor at Nimnicht told me they are not hurting for business I haven t been back. I was loyal customer for over 15 years but now George Moore is my preferred dealer.I love it here.

Just terrible. I decided to give them another honest try after my last review of them. They made the appointment for a week later. When I got there, waited in the waiting room for 20 minutes then the service advisor came to me and said they couldn't work on my van because of complications that may come up, he said I should make another appointment for the following Monday, (thus the runaround); if you think I'm going to go back to this dealership, I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS DEALERSHIP, I don't think they would service my van anyway, because of the terrible reviews I've given them!

Received email for a $100 oil change and tire rotation for my Chevy Volt. On my invoice was the $100 (less my GM Credits), tax $8.55 (of course), Hazardous Waste Disposal-$1.95 (makes sense) AND SHOP SUPPLIES $12.00!!! There is no justification for this charge- it is just a way to "stick" the customer. Sadly, a few weeks later I ordered new air filters for my car (cabin and engine.) When I went to replace the cabin filter it had been removed; under their GM checklist item "Inspect passenger compartment air filter" the technician checked "GREEN". Apparently he inspected it and kept it!!! Comically, my wife had the oil in her Lexus changed at another service shop; she had all the same charges above EXCEPT that her shop supplies were $1.25 (obnoxious but not egregious.). BTW - hers was not a "special" as promoted by George Moore.Service: Oil change

I bring my vehicles in for service here. Kevin, my service advisor always does an amazing job. Every service advisor I have met has been amazing. No matter what they will always be honest, loyal and they have your your best interest in mind. Thanks You will not go wrong here I promise!!!!

Terrible communication, terrible service, and will not go to this location ever again. My wife and my vehicle is under 35,000 mile warranty, took our vehicle to this location several months ago, they looked into issue, and stated that they would service after part comes in. Welp, other issues arose, they fixed, and then the issue happened again, we reached out, addressed the issue, no call backs, no calls on part coming in, nothing. Mind you, we addressed the issue 3-4 months ago and have yet to receive a call on parts. Terrible, terrible, terrible.

Haven't picked up vehicle yet, but dealing with Chris has been reassuring that everything will go well. He is very professional and knowledgeable and I have confidence that I will receive excellent service. Kudos to Chris!

They are professional and can seem like everything will be done correctly. But overall I am not as satisfied as they want me to be. They push Extremely hard for people to leave good ratings. But after making me wait an hour and a half for an oil change which is already too much time, they later told me the drain plug was bad. When I went somewhere else for them to examine the issue further they informed me to assess the drain plug they would have to empty out the oil anyway. So why wouldnt the dealership fix the problem instead of sending me off with a bad plug and having my oil LEAKING until I went somewhere else? Also they forget the free car washes a lot too. Thomas Lee was amazing from start to finish...wasn t pushy whatsoever and genuinely listened to what my wife and I were looking for. He was also very responsive via text when we had some questions. I would highly highly recommend him..wanted to trade in a car and possibly look for one...ended up walking out with 2 new vehicles!!! Thanks again Thomas!

So far so good. Took my vehicle in to service at my appointment time for a seat belt concern & engine skip. Waited 2 hours then they said they would contact me about the seat belt. Couldn't duplicate the engine skip.

Y all, I just wanna brag on my guy Kevin in the service department right now. He s like a 100% rockstar. Every-time I call and say who I am, he immediately goes oh hey Court! Which makes me feel like he s family. Whether I go in for a normal maintenance, or my water pump decides to freak out during finals and he talks me off a cliff. He s always very helpful, calming and just awesome. Plus, I m not sure if it s cause it s protocol or he just has mercy on my pollen infested car but the complimentary car wash is always a plus. This wasn t my first Chevy I visited since moving to Jacksonville. But it s definitely the one I m going to go to as long as Kevin is there! Thanks everyone in the service department!

This dealership does not provide a loaner vehicle when you take your car in for service. At least that's what I was told on the two visits I've had in the past month. This is a real inconvenience for people who's job requires traveling. They will order a Lyft for you to get to work and back to the dealer only. They are one way trips so the driver is not allowed to take you on more than one stop, if it's not cancelled on you first. They also didn't provide the services requested even after having my car for a whole day. I was considering trading my car here since this is where I first purchased my vehicle, but my last few visits have not been all that great.
