I was very impressed and thankful of Heather today at the location off University in JAX. I was there for about two hours or so in totality from getting my A/C serviced and my battery replaced(no appointment). She was the only one working the front desk and phones. Let me tell you this. This was not a slow day. Every single person that walked in received the same treatment. She was very welcoming whether it be on the phone, with a guest, with her coworkers or even the Help Desk that was needed due to a technical error in the system. I ve seen people have complete melt downs when they re having to balance that kind of environment. Hats off to you Heather for also being supportive as the cost was a bit of a shock but you were able to assure me the importance of it. Definitely cried .sorry for that again. But also thank you for helping me today. It meant a lot.

Heather was just a wonderful sales person. I was in a tough spot having a blown tire. She went above and beyond to get the problem fixed and out of there in a hurry. Then i knew i needed to get my other 2 tires changed, and she was able to get me another pair and i was back in two weeks! Her customer service exceeds all of the other experiences i have had at other tire shops. She has definitely made me a Firestone customer for life!

The service representative, Heather, was very helpful, and responsive when I called to check on my car. The repair technician went above and beyond to find the problem and was able to take care of it faster than I could have hoped. I am so very impressed.

I work a lot of hours and days. That match most of these workshops.Service women offered to give me a ride to work, if I dropped off my truck early in the morning.I arrived and the lying begins. Oh no, we don't do that. That was just an example of what you could do.Epic Fail. If they can't keep to their simple agreement, how could you trust them to fix anything...

Stay far away from here. One technician didn't add enough oil to my vehicle for oil change. After a week the oil light comes on. Another Firestone added oil to my vehicle for free. Take your vehicle to a better location.

Came here for a tune up and the lovely lady at the front desk convinced me that my car didn t need a tune up and that it was actually my transmission. Just for me to take it back to the dealership and for them to tell me it s actually my spark plugs and that I needed a tune up. I will never come back to Firestone for anything, not even tires because the people that work there are completely untrustworthy.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I made an online appointment to get a tire repair with this establishment. I got a confirmation email that the appointment has been confirmed. Was greeted and helped by Heather throughout the service there. She provided one of best experiences in an auto shop. She was very informative, courteous, and patient toward all her customers. Had several customers come in during my wait there and she gave a thorough honest assessment to each of them. Had to write this review for someone that went over beyond to do her job with excellence.

I'm here at Firestone right now. Services not good I've been here for two and a half hours and they finally came out to me. Says they can't get lug nut off my rims so if they can't do it they're trying to tell me their 27.50 a piece * 14 lug nuts. I think it's a sham. Up front person is not good at job at all. She's rude and interrupts you continuously with fake apologizes. Firestone I've been coming to you at this location for 20 years. And this is how your employees treat your customers. The loss of 1200 revenue is what it cost you today. Update went to my local tires r Us not only did they get me new tires for $600 for 4 they also got those mysterious lugnuts right off with no problem yes Firestone you try to cheat me out of my money today

The guys at Firestone are crooks. They tried to take advantage of my y 17 year old daughter. But she learned an important lesson about car repairs.Late January 2021 . My daughter complains that the brakes on her 2008 Scion Xb are making a squealing noise when stopping. We talked about it, I listened to the car, and I told her it probably needs front pads and possibly rotors resurfaced or replaced. My daughter is at that point in life where she really wants to be an independent adult, and take care things herself.02-03-21: Rather than have me jack it up to take a look, she made an appointment to take the car into Firestone to have them fix it.02-04-21: Daughter shows up for her appointment, tells them what s wrong, gives them the keys. They make here wait for two hours before telling her that they won t be able to get to it until tomorrow. Fail number one.02-04-21: Next afternoon they call her and tell her it needs a little over $1000 to fix it. She tells them to just put new pads on, it shouldn t be that hard. Then they give her the safety song and dance telling her the car is unsafe to drive without all $1000 of work. She tells them to put it back together and she will pick it up after school. They tell her it will need to be towed. She gets angry and they start arguing. Fail number two. Eventually they agree to let her pick up the car.When she gets there to pick up the car they make her wait for an hour. When the manager is finally available, he takes the time to explain the work needed, parts and labor costs (apparently that hadn t happened previously). They want to replace the pads, rotors, and calipers. She asks why calipers? His explanation is the calipers are too tight and they can t put new pads on. She didn t buy it and says she just wants here car back. The guy gives her the whole it s not safe to drive story again and offers her 6 months same as cash financing. Fail number 3. She asks for here keys repeatedly and eventually they let her go.I am very proud of my daughter for standing up to these guys and their scare tactics. I also know that she works her tail off, and she isn t giving up $1 she doesn t have to without a fight. Much less $1000.02-07-21: So Sunday my daughter comes over early morning and I jack the car up. You could see the marks on the lug nuts where they at least took the wheels off. But the bolts that hold the calipers on had not been touched. Even coating of road dust on all corners. The car did need pads and could use rotors, but the calipers are 1000% fine. I was able to push the piston back by hand without a problem. So it was all just a scam to get a teenage girls to give up her hard earned money.She spent $36 on brake pads, we used 6 tools (jack, lug wrench, 14mm, 12mm, C-clamp, screw driver) and spent maybe 2 hours total to fix the car in my front yard. She spent more time in their waiting room. And you know what now she knows how to do it herself next time.Yeah, DO NOT TRUST Firestone.

Landed here because it was the earliest appt I could find. Their prices were the same or better than all of the stores I researched. I got wheel alignment and tires in just an hour and 15 mins. We came in for a tire patch/repair, but unfortunately it was just time to buy a new one, which we were prepared for. (They all needed replaced) The gentleman Chris that helped us was absolutely AWESOME!! He spent a lot of time helping us find just the right tire(s) that fit our needs and budget. After tons of looking he ended up finding us a set and for an amazing deal!! He was also able to order them and have them on our truck that same day! We are so happy we came to Firestone!! Go see Chris!! He's THE BEST!

This place is amazing!! The customer service is amazing! We have new tires from them, oil changes, wheel alignments, tire rotations, and engine and A/C filters changed. Not a single problem without cars! Their premium Firestone tires are amazing! Your car feels so light and smooth, and has saved us on gas! I never feel hustled by Michael or anyone there. I feel like they look out for me. They re very knowledgeable and not sales type people. I love this place!!

I went to have a tire repaired they said I would have to get a new tire the cost 178.29. This for one tire. The cost of the tire was $129. The reason for the price of $178 was due to a courier fee to go get the tire. This was a Firestone basic tire. Nearly 50 bucks to go get the tire is ridiculous. I was told the reason was due to inflation. This was not the first time Firestone tried to screw me. I took NY truck in for an alignment because I bought the lifetime alignment and they tried to get me to replace my power steering pump. The cost over $900. I took my truck to another mechanic and they told me there was nothing wrong. I told Firestone to put the tire on and I would fix it myself. Sorry for the length of this experience but i WILL NEVER GO BACK and I think you should go elsewhere.

I had been having all sorts of issues with the dealership garage for my car and they kept acting like it was some great mystery as to what was going on and why I kept having to come back and pay them more money every single week for no real improvements. I got fed up, brought it here to Firestone, and they identified and solved the root problem in hours. Excellent customer service, very fast and thorough work, I will be coming back whenever I need new tires for sure.

I wish I could give them 20 stars. I use to go to another Firestone location and they lost my business. I came to this location as it is close to my home and I could walk there to pick up my car. Frank was awesome. He told me about the credit card they offered. I applied and I was approved right then. That really help me with my repairs instead of paying everything right then. Frank explained all services performed and how much it would be before they started the work. He answered all of my questions. When I picked up my car it sounded better then when I dropped it off. Which is great. They addressed all my concerns for my vehicle and checked everything out. I will be back soon.It is important to have something done right the first time. I appreciate Firestone. Thank you all for what you do everyday.

I felt welcome and they looked at my car after a very short wait. It would have been better if I had an appointment, but my "check engine" light came on and I was out if my own neighborhood. They checked it, changed the oil, made me feel good about my visit and sent me on my way. A great experience!

My car was taken in because it had been over heating. The employees there charged me $60 dollars to just look at the car to figure out was wrong. I was amazed when they called me to tell me I would need $2100 dollars worth of repair done including a new radiator and a new radiator fan. I commented saying I would not be able to afford that right away and the woman on the phone immediately said she could drop the price to $1700, which I found odd. So I said no thank you I will pick up my car and take it elsewhere for a second opinion. After waiting 20 minutes to simply pick up my car because they were so understaffed, I got my car. I decided to adding coolant fluid to the radiator since it was very low. Once I did that, my car has been running fine ever since. When I did receive the "Bill" for my "needed" repairs, I noticed they not only added a $500 dollar charge for just the radiator fan, but also included a "Deluxe Tire Change" which was something I never even requested. Stay FAR FAR FAR away from this company. If I had not been more cautious I would have spent over 2 grand on completely unnecessary repairs.

Went in for tire repair! Ended up with four new tires battery and belts! Over $1,000. Have been a customer for years never had a complaint, new management! My son pointed out two hubcaps missing and battery and belts replaced two years ago due to traffic accident, with my low mileage definitely didn t need them

Computer couldn't communicate with other stores so had to drive 45 minutes to SanJose location (in morning rush hour traffic) to have nail removed from tire or pay $37.For to San Jose and they told me University location only had to call to get work order to get the road hazard coverage.Great. Nice way to spend my morning on my day off.

Pulled into their lot with a flat tire. After a wait, I was told that they couldn't patch it because I had used fix a flat. When I explained that other companies had done that before, they told me it was against policy, but the real reason they couldn't fix it was because it was a sidewall puncture. Went outside to call and see if I could get the tire replaced under a warranty I had and called a tow truck to take it to that location since free is obviously better than paying for a new tire. When I came back inside, they had removed the tire from my car and were in the process of putting on a new tire which I had not authorized. I told them to put the old tire on immediately and was told that was "against policy." Finally got them to put the old tire on and was forced to wait over a half hour before someone would given me my keys back. Will never use this company again. Deceptive and company policy is designed to take your money, not provide good service for the customer.

Went in for a brake job. I'm from out of town and made it clear I had a long drive ahead. I knew I needed front brakes, but asked for a full brake inspection. They replaced the front brakes and I was on my way. In the two weeks afterwords, my car started making terrible noises and I had to take it in to get checked. They at Firestone had originally failed to inform me that the back brakes had less than 3 mils left and would need to be replaced soon, despite my information saying I was on a long trip. I feel my safety was disregarded in the name of convince, because I came in late and they were trying to leave for the day. Do not go to this location!! They don't provide quality service and have poor customer service skills. The person on the phone threatened to hang up because I was rightfully agitated and when they were not hearing what they wanted to hear. They were quite rude. Motorersts beware, don't go hear if you value your safety and expect truthful employees. Stay away from this dishonest place!!!
