***WAITED 3+ HOURS AFTER MY APPOINTMENT TIME FOR AN OIL CHANGE***If you have an appointment, just know it won t be on time. My appointment was at 2:30 and I dropped my car off at 2:15. The lady told me once it was in, it would take an hour/ hour and a half. I dropped off my car and at 4:39 I started wondering why I haven t heard anything. Called the front desk and the lady told me they haven t taken my car back yet, but it s next. I decided to head back over and as I am, I see my car still in the parking lot and them pulling another car in that wasn t mine.I stood in front of the counter and the lady was in the back, but chose not to come to the counter. So, I m waiting for her since I m wondering maybe they already finished, but she stays behind the glass for another 5 minutes. When she finally comes out, I ask if my car is done and she said no they haven t started. Clearly, I m surprised since my car was next and that wasn t the truth.I sat in the lobby for another 45 minutes before they took my car back. Do you know how long it took for my oil change and new wipers? 20 minutes. I waited 3 and a half hours for a 20 minute job.I understand being busy. But, do not accept all of these appointment times or walks in IF you can t be on time. An hour wait is fine, two is pushing it, but three? That s baffling when I had a scheduled appointment slot. This Firestone took advantage of their clients.DO NOT COME HERE!!!!

I brought my car in to have a couple lug nut studs replaced. They upsold me on the "Battery Corrosion Protection Package". I figured sure, why not. That's one less thing on my to-do list and saves me the trouble.I picked the car up, popped the hood and they didn't even bother to clean the terminals. They just sprayed protectant on top of the corrosion and left it at that. I could have poured water on them and had far better results. If they can't even manage to do this properly, I sure wouldn't trust them to do anything more serious.Also, the bill was $100 more than what they quoted on the phone an hour prior. Go figure. I should have read the other reviews first.

My mom s car and my car left at 10 am (appointments made ahead of time online). We came to pick up the cars at 2:30 pm, received zero updates from team since we dropped it off.Staff was not welcoming at all and did not greet us when we came back at 2:30 pm despite us being super kind and it being their fault that we waited 4.5 hours to get our cars.My mom s car was left unpacked waiting for her decision to receive an alignment when no one even called to tell us she needed one. Inspection was complete for my car but when we requested the summary for my mom s car we noticed it was half done, brakes were not checked despite us asking for them to get checked.The first time we came to Firestone we had a wonderful experience, but this time it was the complete opposite. Poor customer service and car service as well- very disappointing.

Damaged my brake line during oil/tire service. Did not tell me about it and let me leave leaking brake fluid. Not only did they send me out with no brakes, they wouldn t take responsibility for it. Eventually they did fix it, but mad me pay for the part. Ridiculous. I should have been refunded for the service, not charged. Not only are the wait times bad, they will let you go with dangerous damage to the vehicle. Do not go here.

I have been coming here for over 4 years. Have had everything from oil changes to tires to full coolant systems done. In the last six to nine months down hill in service. If I didn t need my oil changed today- scheduled appointment- I would take my care elsewhere. But I leave this week on a trip. Last time it took 6 hours for an oil change. There is no ETA today. I am thankful a friend is coming to get me and take me on my errands!!! I m also trying to schedule another appointment elsewhere before I leave town. I strongly urge you to use another facility

Ruined my vehicle because they forgot to tighten my lug nuts and my entire wheel fell off minutes after leaving the place. My vehicle is damaged, and the manger claims that firestone does not have insurance. They put the lives of others and mine at risk, terrible experience.

Had the worst experience ever at this location. Brought my car in for check engine light. Was told by one of the employees it could be coil pack or change spark plugs. Received phone call saying I needed struts and tires. I told them I knew all of that but brought my car in because of check engine light. Charged me over $500 to change spark plugs. Next day check engine light back on. Bring my car back in. They then give me a print out of diagnostic of misfires but wants me to pay another huge amount to fix. Do not recommend services here at all. So disappointing.

I just want to thank Neftali for helping me when I needed it the most. There was a long wait with back to back appointments and he noticed my toddler in the back seat and made us a priority (I had a leak in my tire and needed a patch). That is what you call CUSTOMER SERVICE. I didn t ask for special treatment, but boy did he go over and beyond. I can t thank you enough for your help today as I was in and out within 30 minutes. I sure hope Firestone realizes the true assets of the company are the people. Neftali is a big asset to the corporation and should be recognized for that. Thank you and the team inside the office again as I will be a customer for life.

Location: Town Center on Tropea Way.I ve bought two full sets of tires and have had maintenance services done at this location.However this last time I had work done, there was a huge breakdown in communication.I understand the service industry is way understaffed and overwhelmed.With that being said, Philip a needs more training in public relations.He s confusing when he explains things and appears to have a lack of confidence. I need you to be sure of what you re saying and feel like you know what you re talking about . I m trusting you with my car.

I ve been taking my car here for the last 2-3 years and have had no issues until recently. Over the last few months I ve taken my car in about 3-4 times due to the check engine light being on and each time they charged me for this and that claiming to have fixed the issue just for it to come back on a few days later. They finally recommended I take it to the dealership because they couldn t figure out what the issue was after already spending over $1000 in repairs including replacing my battery, filters, etc. They are also very slow and take on too many clients at once. One time they forgot about my car all day and each time I called they would say we re really busy but we ll get to yours next well then why did I make an appointment if your just going to keep it for two days until you can find time to do it? I purchased Firestone tires from them a few years ago with a 65,000 mile guarantee and they are now saying my tires are not covered because of an alignment issue? Why was the alignment issue not addressed the many times I brought my car in over the last few months? I m finally done with this place after giving them multiple chances. Save yourself the time, money, and headache and just go somewhere else. An definitely don t buy Firestone tires.

Dropped off my car at 10:30 for an 11:00 appointment. Needed 4 tires installed which I supplied, and an alignment after the new tires were installed. I called at 2:00 and asked for an update and was told they were working on my car and it would be ready at 3:30. No problem, I show up at 3:30 and my car is up on a lift getting an alignment but the tires I brought in were still sitting in the same spot I left them. Whatever, I left again and called at 4:00. I was told sorry we re behind right now, you ll be ready at 5:00. I show up at 5:00 to my car just now getting the tires installed, and now at 5:35 getting another alignment. I paid and left at 5:55 when they close at 6:00. There is absolutely no point in making an appointment if they have no regard for your time. 7 hours for four tires and an alignment cmon

I found out from the Firestone on monument that I had the wrong oil put in by Tropea.They also didn't put everything back together under my dash when I had a blower motor replaced by them.I had it replaced because it was making a lot of noise and afterwards I just had a very noisy and rattling dash.These Firestone's will recommend work that you don't need and charge way too much.9 out of 10 of the employees you meet have a rude attitude and can be very short with you and they are sooooo slow to do anything. I'm done with Firestone for life and I would definitely recommend anyone to stay away from these places.

CHECK YOUR OIL LEVEL BEFORE LEAVING!This happened a few months back - I've been busy and this is my first opportunity to post a review. So, dropped off my vehicle for routine oil change and tire rotation. I was surprised when they called a few hours later to tell me it was ready - Great! I don't live far from this location so the drive back to my apartment was short. The next day I ran errands and my oil light came on. What the heck? I pulled over, called my husband, and he came and checked the oil level. It was almost completely empty!! I called Firestone and was instructed to drive to a sister location right up the street where they added oil. The next day I got my vehicle into my dealership for diagnostics ($200) - Thankfully, no damage, although they noted that it now had too much oil (good grief!).I wrote Firestone HQ and no surprise I got zero response. This is totally unacceptable! How can you provide a service that includes an oil change and forget to put oil back in a vehicle??!! Luckily I had my husband to come help me. What about others who don't have someone that can? I've never heard back from this location (they know who I am) to follow-up on the status of my vehicle or offer an apology. NEVER again!

Mitch is great! The mechanic did a great job fast, and Mitch was courteous, helpful, and helped me check out even without my wallet. He is consistently courteous, and children love him. I believe that says something.

Not sure why this location only has 3.8 stars. In my opinion, they are better than the other locations. I know I shouldn't tell people, because the availability was part of what made them great today and a good review might change that. Anyhow, they deserve it.The store was clean, the staff was courteous, well-dressed, and the service was quick. I have a lifetime alignment agreement and instead of giving me grief about not spending more money there, they gave me a sense that I should be using the already-paid-for service every 6 months. I will definitely be using them as my go to place for alignment.There's a location in Orange Park that has a 4.1 rating that I cannot understand. So I am here to boost this place up as they really deserve it.

I went here yesterday, beforehand I went here when my tire got a nail in it about almost a year ago and they were great and didn t take advantage of me when I was having anxiety. They replaced my tire and everything was fine but yesterday when I went because I had trouble starting my car after I filled up the gas at my work, I just feel like they diagnosed like 2 realistic problems with my car but also diagnosed 2 things that probably aren t the issue. What I m saying is I don t think 2 of the things that my car got diagnosed with are valid problems and they were just getting me to pay extra money because I was scared about my car and having anxiety talking to them. Just feels like they took advantage of me and tried making me pay for something I didn t really need for my car. Even though I said I would come back to this location, I don t think I am. However when I can (I live paycheck to paycheck), I will get a second opinion on the two issues from ANOTHER tire place or my Kia dealership that s near me.

Pay by debit or credit. When the repair is not fixed right the first time. Have your bank reverse the charges. Please bring your father's husband's and boyfriend's with you ladies. They will take advantage of you a 700 car repair will turn into 1500. Took advantage of my wife.

I can't thank the team at Firestone enough for helping me get heat into my car. The customer service was unreal and they went above and beyond to help me find a solution. Ransom specifically made my experience a painless one (as having car problems can certainly feel painful). Thank y'all x10!

I live in another state, and because of the experience I ve had with my local Firestone, I was hesitant to use them. However, I was quite impressed with the way they handled my brake repair. Initially I brought it in for rear brake pads and have them turn the rotors. There was still a squeaking noise when I picked up the car and so I brought it back and they replace the pads and put new rotors on. I was very grateful for the service that they provided and would use them again!

Unfortunately this location does not have skilled mechanics to handle the simple basic task & I recommend if you have to keep taking your vehicle back just get a print out every time for a record , my vehicle had to go back 4 times in a month for the same issue and i still i let them change my plugs thinking that is easy enough and today i said my vehicle still runs rough so i opened my hood and found vacuum lines disconnected, Well that was the last time my i will go to firestone my Chevy dealership has received my business, my firestone in Ohio is great . Sorry guys i tried

If I could put zero stars, I would. I took my car in here due to problems with the temperature gauge reading. They diagnosed the radiator fan being bad. After having my car for over a week, it was finally replaced. The problem persisted. I took my car to the dealer this time and everything checked out so the only thing was a faulty temperature gauge.I spent over $700 for a radiator fan at Firestone that was most likely never broken. I will never return here and will never recommend to anyone. My family has been going to Firestone since before I was even born so to say this is a disappointment is quite the understatement.

Dropped by there yesterday with my moms car making an awful noise on the highway. Very helpful guy put it up on the rack and tightened down the plastic coverings underneath for her. Wouldn t take any payment! Thank You!!! Highly recommend this shop!! Truly care about people!!!

This is a personal review for an employee of Firestone, a gentleman by the name of Mel.I found myself in a sucky situation by my own fault and went asking for help. I came across Mel, explained my problem and without hesitation, he said give me a minute and I'll be right there. He was able to fix my problem in a matter of minutes and crisis was adverted. Not only did he save me money but also put back faith in the fact that there still are kind hearted people out there willing to help. Mel, if you read this, thank you again. (The girl you saved in the silver Jeep ) And also, I want you to know that to repay you I'm going to pay it forward by an act of kindness, assisting someone in need shall they cross my path.. Thank you sir :)Edit to add: I'm so embarrassed to say I completely bombed this man's name... His name is Nef not Mel. I wanted to change it so he gets the proper recognition :)Thank you, Nef.

Never ever recommend this place , I don t know if the people work is really professionalNever give you the right answer , if you don t call they never call you to let know you car is ready, very very scare go to this place , I change to good year and really make a big difference, plus I read the reviews messages they are a disaster

Rating as a 1 because we were provided with incorrect information on our 2014 Corvette. We took it there to determine why it would intermittently smoke from pipes. They told us that it had a coolant leak, oil leak, and the harmonic balancer was shot. Also said the tires are 10 years old. We took it to the dealership for a 2nd look; the only thing that was accurate was the oil leak. Firestone couldn t determine the source of it, it was as simple as the oil filter not being tight. That was it, no coolant leak and nothing wrong with the harmonic balancer (car only has 18,000 miles so would have been odd for it to be bad) Had the oil changed and all issues were resolved. And the tires are from 2021 so only 3-4 years old, not 10. Not sure how or why Firestone could have gotten it so wrong.

I came here after having a very negative experience at another tire retailer. I had a nail in my tire and needed a patch covered under my warranty. The staff here immediately were friendly and communicative. The work was done in under an hour (I had an appointment) and like I suspected (but contrary to what the other tire retailer tried to tell me) my tire was repairable with a plug and covered under my Bridgestone warranty. It s refreshing to not be scammed or convinced to pay for services you don t need. I will be coming back here for future tire needs on my car and thank the staff for their help today after previously having a bad experience elsewhere.
