Today I had an unforgettable experience at the Famous Quick Lube #9 off of St. Augustine Rd. I did a search for locations that provide oil changes near me and just happened to choose this business.I called and spoke to Rick to determine if an appointment was necessary. He assured me that it was not as they offer first come first serve basis. He was warm and friendly on the phone, and I let him know I would be heading his way shortly.Upon arrival, I noticed a man out in front holding a sign that said, "No wait" and presumed that may be Rick.He warmly greeted me and knew I was the lady he spoke to on the phone before I even introduced myself. We had a short conversation before I released my car keys to him and was then escorted like a princess into the waiting area by Keith.Keith graciously offered me coffee or water with a smile as I went to the waiting area.Rick came inside about 5-10 minutes later to discuss the options and recommendations based on my mileage and reason for visit.He was efficient, thorough and I felt a sense of integrity in what he was relaying.Neither Rick nor Keith knew of the prior day's events for me. I chose not to share that a scheduled appointment at another business (NOT a Quick Lube) had resulted in refusal for an oil change based on their "findings".The communication from start to finish was up front, honest and top notch from Rick and Keith. I felt welcome, appreciated as a customer and in good hands.Keith opened the door for me as I walked to my car in awe of how fast the service was completed and he proceeded to open my car door as well and wish me a good day.Words cannot express my gratitude to both of these fine gentlemen. They turned a gloomy day into a bright sunny day filled with restored faith in people who enjoy helping others and take pride in their work.I highly recommend choosing this Famous Quick Lube #9 as I have no doubt that each customer is treated in this way.I have now found a place I feel comfortable taking my car to and will definitely return to this location from now on based on the customer service and overall experience.Thank you Rick and Keith, you are worth more than 5 stars!

Went to location for simple air filter change after job finished I had to replace air box..receipt plainly says not to fix mistakes from damaged parts until you contact I m still waiting 30 dollar turned into 220 for all stay woke or do it yourself..I m pissssed and didn t even put all screws back inService: Air & cabin filter replacementService: Air & cabin filter replacement

First time here and my experience was great! J.T. and Uncle Mike were helpful, professional and courteous. They asked me if I wanted to drive the car onto the ramp or if I'd like them to, which was the part I had been dreading. They are available on Groupon but DONT accept the groupon.. jus for a heads up Management should cancel w them.. I m currently waiting 10 days for a Groupon refund of $80 on top of paying $113 for the oil change.. but satisfied w the job done employees were professional

Mike & JT - the most precious gentlemen I ve had the pleasure of meeting (especially in the automotive industry) in a very long while. And probably the FASTEST oil change ever in my experienced 50+ years - WoW!!! Mike will take time to educate on what your vehicle needs and what it doesn t with such honesty that whomever made the barbed comment about the sign saying Do the right thing even when no one is watching, it s called Integrity , I can attest to the FACT that these fellas operate with just that. I have always taken my vehicles to dealerships for service and have received good service but hate having to wait forever to then have a ton of suggestive costly add-ons while checking out. Sooo very happy I read the objective reviews and made the informed, confident decision to come here because I did not have to wait long AND the cost was just for an oil change as Mike showed me my air filter was still super clean with no need to replace. I ll most certainly be coming back here for my oil maintenances and highly recommend this business with 5*****!Service: Oil change

Mike and q at the famous quick service on St Augustine were awesome. They were quick honest and willing to work with us. You guys should come here and check them out all of Jacksonville. These guys are rock stars!

Came in to this location three weeks ago for an oil change and went back in today to get my brake and reverse lights fixed real quick. I ll say it again these guys are awesome. They are fast, professional, and the service is far better than any other place I have been. If you haven t been to this location you need to. Ask for Kevin. Their prices are also way better too!

First time coming here. I went for ladies day and they were very attentive, quick through. And let me know that now I'm in their system they will top off my fluids anytime for free as long as I'm not beyond due for my oil change.Update to the following day: I received a courtesy call to see if my experience met my expectations!.Great service, friendly, will be going back!

Very courteous and Quick like the name says! Recommended other services at a very reasonable price discounts for bundling services together. Very Pleased. 30 minutes in and out for oil change, radiator flush, engine filter. I have had bad experiences with Take 5 and Jiffy Lube's but this place seems to have much more knowledgeable technicians who care about their customer service

Super fast. Really friendly service. Fair price. My second time back. I asked to change my air filter and the mechanic removed it, showed it to me and said that he could not in good consious change it because it is perfectly clean. I appreciate the honesty and not being taken advantage of. This is my spot!

I would rate this place a zero if I could. I took my car in for a routine oil change, it was anything but. The guy removed the plug to my transmission fluid. I heard him ask his co-worker if that looked like oil. He responded that's transmission fluid put the plug back in. When they actually finished changing my oil, I asked the guy did you drain my transmission fluid? He responded "No". As I drove off, my car sputtered. I took it back immediately, confronting him that I heard their whole conversation about the transmission mishap. He acted like he didn't hear me, but said "yes" we opened the transmission plug. He then went to purchase the transmission fluid since they didn't carry it. After a long wait he refilled the transmission fluid. Neither one of the employees offered an apology or anything. Just acted as if they didn't do a thing. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!! Oh and a side note they had this hanging in the office "Do the right thing, even when no one is looking. It's called integrity".

This place I give6 stars!OUTSTANDING service from Darnel and team. Every time I go in. updated Review for Transmission flush March 2021 Hit the mileage to get a transmission flush. So you know where I went. Because...1)They are the BEST!2)The price was a no brainer3)Done right4) no sales BSI don't think I was even there for 15 minutes. when I get my oil changed You gotta love a place that will also top you off fluids if you need to before your next oil change. Darnell also taught me how to reset the oil change light.Definitely earned my business future.1.18.2021 back again for a oil change. Best service hands down. Can Hardly believe how fast they get you in!

Super fast service, was in and out in no time! Would definitely recommend this place if you re in a hurry and need to get your basic oil change, they re fast! While I was waiting, I got my carpets vacuumed and a couple of filters changed, talk about service. I m really impressed!

I have no idea how this place has five stars. Brought our car in here for an oil change and they didn t even check the fluids like advertised with and oil change cause my windshield fluid light was still on and when I checked it the container was empty. And they didn t reset the maintenance light after they changed the oil. And it was 80 dollars when you can go to a real mechanic like EVERYTHING AUTO and not get ripped off. Incredibly nice and helpful in recommending the correct oil for my car. Even getting a synthetic blend was cheaper than some other places conventional oil changes.Also, speedy service.Would definitely come back.
