Famous automotive always does a great job on my oil changes, and they never tried to sell me more than I need. I broke the handle off my car door and they were able to fix it for a reasonable cost after I purchased a new handle on Amazon.

So I came here to just get grease in my tie rod ends. Should ve taken 2 minutes, took an hour. They had to order a grease gun because theirs didn t work and then when they got it, they then decided to order the grease. So that alone took 40 minutes, then they did their thing, got it done and somehow managed to kill my battery? This place is also very dirty. The kids center looks terrifying and there is dirt all over the floor. Now I know if I need something else done, I ll go somewhere else.

Stay away if you don't want to get ripped off. Went for alignment. They did not do it and tried to sell me a complete suspension replacement (lower control arms, struts, tierod, sway bars)[apprx. a $1000-2000 service] because the car has a squeeky noise when slowing down and when turning. All the above mention parts were replaced, struts 3 years ago, arms 4 years the rest a month ago.The noise I explained them was coming from worn rack & pinion and the missing rubber bushing from the engine mounts that other just as qualified and caring mechanics forgot to put back. That's it. The car's suspension is impeccable.But if you let them they tell you, your whole car needs replacement. Sad.Update: to answer your response, no you guys did not give me a fair price, since I did not even ask for price. Obviously since the parts do not need to be changed. I saw when they rolled the car out from the parking lot, they did not do any thourough inspection you talking about, matter of fact they even stated that the mechanic figured the need of replacement from the noise while driving it into the station.Just stop the lies and the excuses.3 yrs old struts and 4yrs old arms need to be replaced???? You really try to sell this lie to the people here? During covid barely used the car, then this past year again barely used it (less then 5000mi). And please just refer the general rule of thumb for life expactancy for those parts even when they aftermarket (not factory set). Definitely not 3-4 years especially with 2 years out of that almost not using the car. But I tell you better what about the tie rod and the sway bar that was replaced literally a month ago????So you here claiming honest business but have the audacity to say month old parts need replacement too???You are the example of stigma in the industry.

Staff were all so nice, they have great prices, my car was in and out super quick, and it was super clean in there! I will 100% go back, and recommend all friends and family to them! I mainly worked with Sam and Josh!

I went there today for the 1st time after looking up their reviews. They lived up to all of their great reviews. We brought my truck into them after having the breaks done elsewhere but it was making a terrible noise after getting it back and they were very honest and fixed it and didn t charge me a thing (something had gotten bent when they were replaced). I will continue to go back here for anything I need done simply because they could have charged me an arm and a leg for a repair and replaced the part that had gotten bent but they were honest and adjusted it just a little. Thank you for your honesty

This is by far the best shop in Northern St John s County! Over the years they have been super helpful, very reasonable on price and just good people. Very trustworthy with a willingness to help no matter what the situation. Customer service is top-notch as well as the work they perform. Five stars all the way around.

I had an awesome and painless experience at Famous Automotive and Tire Center. I bought 4 new tires for my travel trailer and needed them mounted on the rims as well as the old tires removed. I called and spoke with Josh, who was very friendly and helpful. He said absolutely, just bring them up and we will take care of it. I brought them there with no appointment and they finished in record time! I didn t even have time to finish running errands before Josh called and said they were ready. I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend!Service: Tires

Its nice to know places like this still exist. I was in a jamb when my trailer tire blew. I was seen immediately and taken care of, free of charge! 10 minutes, new tire mounted, filled and ready to install. Thanks guys! I ll be back for sure.

Just met Sam today, come out of my house and semi flat tire, I added air and headed by over to Famous tire. I asked for a plug on my left, he got me in took care of the tire and did it for nothing, checked the rest of the tires and even showed me what I had in my tire....I am extremely shocked and grateful for Sam and famous tire. Wow! For the community and if this was my 1st experience I can't imagine the next time. Appreciate you Sam!

All I can say is that if you have a Toyota avoid this place. I had some squeaking in the front driver side of my Camry and I brought it in around January earlier this year to change the brake pads and after I left it still was squeaking. I called and asked why it still was squeaking and Josh said that it would go away or that it s normal. Now there s that well yesterday I took my Camry in for an oil change within an hour of closing and I expected it to be done promptly, well I didn t even receive a phone call saying that they were gonna hold my vehicle overnight, not even a courtesy Oh by the way nothing. Then I go in this morning and tell Josh about it and all he had to say was well I left early yesterday Really? That s crazy. Don t go here.

Sent here 2 times. 1 for compressor and power steering but then lost my power steering cap. Went back for a radiator and forgot to connect my radiator fan and air intake sensor back together. Overheated a few times before looking hard enough to find this. DONT GO HERE! They dont care enough to finish the job correctly.

The manager Sam and his team are great..always willing to help where they can..I had an issue with my aftermarket wheels and needed to install my stock wheels back on my truck but i didn't have the time to do it myself..I took it to Sam and he took care of it cost free! Great honest shop!

Had my oil changed with them, 3 weeks later my oil light came back on. Brought it back in to get checked out, they replaced a gasket that was causing a leak and they topped off the oil for no charge. Very quick and friendly service

As a first time customer, I was expecting great customer service, and Famous Automotive definitely met above my expectations. Not only that, but also it was closer to home. Took my Volkswagen Passat in for a bad coolant leak and a wheel alignment, it was professionally taken care of. Staff were wonderful, very friendly no hassle people who care for their customers. Prices were decent compared to the other shops out here. This place was well worth it. Thanks Famous Automotive for all of the wonderful work you've done to my vehicle, and will be back for my next upcoming repair.

Just had an incredible experience at Famous Automotive & Tire Center. I rolled in with a giant screw in my tire, worried about the cost and the time it would take to fix. But these guys exceeded all my expectations! They fixed my tire quickly and, to my surprise, waived the charges. Their professionalism and kindness blew me away. Wouldn t recommend to customers who try to understand how their car operate and learn what certain dashboard lights mean because Josh said I was overthinking it. He said anything can happen . tomorrow your car can blow up or not . He s full of great explanations.

Wow! Famous Automotive now has a loyal customer! Rolled in with a "check tire" warning, and they filled my tires, waived the fee, and told me to give it some time for the sensor to adjust. The superior service and care of this team is unmatched. They go well above what is expected. They made not one, but three 2 mile trips to where my car was stranded. At first they probably expected to sell us a replacement tire. But when they realized our tire just needed a patch, they took care of that made the third and final trip to install our repaired tire and wouldn't even accept a tip.My wife was stranded at the speedway gas station (on Roberts Road) with a flat tire. When I came to the rescue, we discovered that we had no tools. When we bought our Jeep Renegade, the dealer did not tell us that these vehicles do not come with a spare, a jack, or a lug wrench. The tools in my Hyundai did not work on her vehicle. Wrong lug nut size, and the my tire jack did not go high enough. Oh... least I forget, the Jeep Roadside assistance required that they take our car 15 miles away to their own location, where they would surely sell us a replacement tire at an inflated rate.We drove over to Famous and explained to theme our problem (lack of tools.) They lend me a lug wrench of a different size then the one I had and asked that I bring it back with the damaged tire. Back at the car I found out that my car Jack was to short for the jeep. We called them and they came over with a jack a removed my tire. At that point he noticed it did not need to be replaced but rather could be repaired.He then took the tire back to their shop (2 miles away) repaired it an brought it back. We stayed behind with the car that was still on their jack. When he returned adn reinstalled the tire. We offered to go back to Famous and pay. He said that wasn't necessary. I offered to pay in cash (on site) but he said that wasn't necessary. I then tried to give him a tip, which he refused to accept.Did I tell you it was Good Saturday.Service: Tires

Twice I have taken my truck to these guys for minor things. 1st was to check tire pressure and today to patch a tire that was punctured because the city left broken glass on the street on recycle day. I can understand no charge to check the pressure but these guys wouldn t even let me pay them to patch the tire! I mean, come on!!! Nobody has that level of awesome customer service!!! They will be getting all of my business for anything mechanical from now on. Awesome people . Friendly . Professional and quick to respond. Thanks fellas. You have a new fan.

Most expensive oil change in my life - $132. I just called Tuffy and their cost for 6 qt full synthetic oil chg would have been $59 after tax. Also, when I got my car back, they must not have sealed the oil tank very well. There was a small puddle of dark oil on the floor of my garage this morning. Very disappointing.
