Definitely won't go there again , I went there for alignment and they did it, after leaving from there I started having vibration noise from the driver side I took it back to them and I made sure I stood by the mechanic to see what the hell is going on , apparently they loosen up the axle bolt which made the hub bearing and pretty much the rotor and tire to move out of their place luckily the tire didn't came out of place , so they told me that my hub is bad and they quoted me for hub bearing job change for almost 600$ labor and parts they said the hub is bad I asked them can we just tie the axle bolt back so everything can stop wobbling they said you sure you don't want to change the hub it's damaged I told them yes I am sure,, let's just secure the axle bolt and I wanna see if there is any noise after that , sure thing everything now is good no wobbling no more and the vibration noise is gone , conclusion it's sad to loosen up the axle bolt to add extra job that's straight dishonesty and that's dangerous to risk some one safety to make profit very unethical I think this place needed to be shut down it's a scam and I am so grateful I didn't get in no car accident and the wheel didn't come off wow God looking at all what y'all doin remember that

Had the car towed towed to Ortega Car Care and they were going to charge a lot of money just to be looked at so had it towed here. Famous even helped find a good tow company that was much faster than AAA and had reasonable prices. The entire bill to have my car fixed was less than just having it looked at at Ortega and gave a military discount. They also fixed it very quickly. Thank you so much for helping with a very frustrating situation.

Had an amazing experience! Unfortunately, I hit a curb, but both Steve & Brandon made this as smooth of a transaction as possible. They gave me an immediate estimate & had my car running by the next day. Could not recommend them more

The staff at Famous Automotive & Tire Center were extremely friendly and helpful. Not only did they push my disabled SUV out of the road, they offered me a free ride to get where I needed to go. I'll never forget their kindness and would highly recommend this establishment.

Had such a great experience thanks to Ricky and the team. I called for an emergency tire repair for my parents, who were supposed to be driving home to Fort Lauderdale that day so we needed to get the tire fixed as quickly as possible. Turns out it had a nail in it, so they fixed it and gave it back to us within 30 minutes. And then he told me, "no charge, you're all set". I tried to insist on paying but he said, "no thanks, that's what we advertise, we provide that service free of charge". We couldn't believe how nice (and fast!) they are. Highly recommend and we'll be back for any future car issues.

I brought my Chrysler 200 here These guys did a excellent job fixing my fuel pump & my brake booster and the oil leak. I trust these guys to work my car if you want your car done right come here to famous automotives. They will do a excellent job fixing your vehicle .

The people (Thank you Nicole Casto and team!) at Famous Automotive were awesome! My car had an engine light on which said it needed to be brought in to get checked. I needed to get back to my home town the same day and didn't want to take any chances (3 hours away) so I called Famous Automotive. (They were recommended to me) They were able to get me in right away and found that my thermostat was stuck in the open position. No repairs were necessary and it took all of 5 minutes. I asked what I owed and they said "we didn't do anything so no charge". In this day and age that is amazing customer service. I would recommend them and have to all my friends in Jacksonville Fl. Now I know why they were recommended to me. I believe the person said "I wouldn't take my vehicle to any other place!" I would recommend Nicole and her team should you need any service or repair. I definitely will not be using them agai. A classic example of taking advantage of a woman who doesn't know what she really needs. If I was more knowledgeable of what I truly needed, I wouldn't have gotten the services I asked for. I needed a balance and tire rotation, and as mechanics, they could have told me that instead of the alignment. But, it's all about money!!. I thought I could trust them but I was wrong!!. I'll never use them again nor will I recommend them unless you know what you really need!!!

I desperately needed a front end alignment on my 2000 Ford explorer. Front wheels had a severe Positive camber and was beyond my DIY knowledge to get right. My only window to have it out of my possession was Sunday Afternoon as it's my everyday (work)vehicle. I showed up, Steve sold me the service, took my key, and a few hours later I was picking my truck up...WHAT a difference on the road. My SUV rides great. Smooth, no vibration, and STRAIGHT!! . oh and I forgot the guys name who aligned it.. but man, keep up the solid, HONEST work! I appreciate you more than you know!. Thanks guys!

Although the free alignment check was not available, after explaining about my recent issue with alignment made by another company, I was suggested to make alignment check w/o charge! The printed results greatly helped me to resolve the incorrect alignment problem with the previous repair company. Many thanks and wish you good business!

This is the first auto repair shop that i went to since we moved here in jax...from then on,,i am in and out in this shop ,,and im very grateful to all the staff..they are so welcoming...thank you rick and steve for assisting me everytime..Thank you so much to mike,,who've been very patient to my old mercedez for fixing the severe oil leak..And just recently,,thank you Brandon for fixing the coolant leak...thank you guys..keep up the good work

I had horrible experience with them, they fix one thing n than mess up with other pieces, I brought my car because It was having issues with the start, they fixed it but as soon I got it back I was hearing some noise, I took back and they gave me another diagnostic (they want to charge me $1,600 to fixed it, I asked how that happened and than they said it probably happened when they lifted it up, I really don t recommend to anyone to bring any vehicle to them to fix!!!They said in another comment that they offered me financing the price (what it is a lie)!!! They never did and plus they are really not professional saying that I didn t have the money, if I did have the money I d not let them fix anything else on my car, and they re blaming the freaky tow truck driver that I paid for, they are wrong but they wanna be right, I repeat DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO TO THEM!!!

The folks at Famous Auto are fantastic! Nicole was patient and extremely helpful and went above and beyond. I have been going here for two years and I'd recommend their services to anyone! Best team in town. Steve is also extremely helpful, and we are super happy with the work done by James. I won't be going any where else, regardless of where I am in Jacksonville!

I called at noon for a price quote on new tires, and they just happened to have 2 of the 4 I needed. They said I could go ahead and bring my car in for the 2, and they were ordering the other 2. When I picked up my car a few hours later, they surprised me with all 4 tires (so I didn't have to bring my car back) and they offered a great discount on having my alignment done. They were all very friendly and fast, and I appreciate the savings and the benefits that come along with the tires. Nicole is a doll!!

I had to pull off I-10 on a Sunday the other week when the car started to break down. I m so lucky I got off on Cassat and this store had Sunday hours! Miss Nicole was extremely nice and helpful to me. What I feared would be a complicated repair ended up resolved in under two hours, and it HAS stuck (no further problems of the same kind). The cost was very reasonable. Highly recommend.

I'm not sure where the 4.5 stars are from, but they are beyond rude. I stopped by to get an estimate for a problem I was having with my car and immediately felt unwelcomed. They weren't busy, so the shirt answers and negative attitude was not necessary. I should have left, but continued to get an estimate. Steve was rude and simply acted as though he did not want me there. Please reconsider your decision to come here. Depending on how you look and what your race is, you may not be welcomed at all. If you're a person of color, consider going somewhere else. I'm sure they will appreciate it. Other reviews confirm that they do not want brown people at their establishment. No worries, I will never return. Beware future potential customers!

I bought tires st a tire shop at San Juan and Lane Ave in Jacksonville. Florida. There it was suggested that Icheck my alignment at the Famous Automotive and Tite Center at 1964 Cassat Avenue.I was signed up by the Assistant Manager Nicole Casto. A technician, whom I will name later, took my car for a test run.When he returned, I got up and looked through the glass. For some reason, he got visibly upset and threw up both hands as if he was asking me something. (This action should be on the site video)I went out the main door to hear what he was saying. and at that point, he asked me what I was looking at.I told him that I saw my car come back and that I just looked out.At that point he said that he wouldn t do the alignment if I looked at him from the office.Apparently the Assistant Manager agreed and told me to leave.I know that the business does not belong to any of those workers I encountered there today, so I hope that the owners know that they may be sending customers away by being rude and unprofessional while still expecting a paycheck from the owners of the business.I don t think that it is fair to the people who employed the staff who act in such a manner.I have a partial video of the event, but the whole video should have been caught on the company s security cameras.Hopefully, no one else goes to that tire center on Cassat and San Juan Ave in Hacksonville Florida, to be subjected to unprofessional treatment by the staff there.I also spoke to someone called Rob who didn t give his last name but who informed me that he was the District Manager of they establishment.

I go here for all of my repair needs! The service is always great and the prices are reasonable! This company has completely screwed me over! I paid over $1k to have my tie rod ends, brakes, and rotors replaced, plus an alignment (which is what I was told I needed). After the work was done, I had nothing but issues. These issues including smoking, squeaking brakes from the moment I drove it off the lot; and soon after, grinding noises. I went back up there 5 months after the work was done to have it looked at (once the grinding noises started) and was informed the calipers were seized. My pads were completely used up and rotors looked like they were never even replaced (notice the lip on the bottom of the rotor in photo). I was offered a 12 month/ 12,000 miles warranty with the work originally. I should have been informed the calipers were bad/outdated if they were going to cause these issues 5 months down the road. THis company told me that the only thing they would cover is the pads under warranty, and wanted to charge me another $850 to replace the calipers, rotors, and pads again. 5 MONTHS DOWN THE ROAD YALL. There was no negotiations, nothing. I drive my 8 year old daughter around every single day. THIS BUSINESS IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED WITH YOUR VEHICLE. This was an absolute waste of money, time, and most importantly, could have costed us our lives.

Rick, Trey, Christopher and all the guys at Famous are the ONLY mechanics I trust to work on my JEEP... They have always made time to help me. My mechanic is like my Jeeps doctor and I only have one. The Garage was truly awesome. The Manager, Ricardo Rivera and the Mechanic who fixed my car, Mr. Clinton. They were absolutely phenomenal. The attention, the patience and their assistance was incredible. I was in dire need of help. They did everything to ease my mind. More importantly, they listened and helped me. That gave me peace of mind and my car back, quickly. They were so accommodating and they didnt rush. Sooo refreshing to receive help and service like that. And they (famous Automotive) gave great pricing. You know when you get that feeling, like okay, its gonna be so much more when I get my car back. It never did. Mr. Ricky gave me an estimate over the phone and i paid right around that amount. Its been decades since I had service like that. I couldnt believe it. They truly saved me Thousands of Dollars over what the dealerships over charged. I am soo grateful and will be a return customer, without hesitation. Please, folks. It is not "drinking the kool aid" Famous auto and these men, were helpful and on point. And my car....turns on and runs. I am happy. (They did the labor for a very uncomfortable positioned starter on my Jeep Renegade) located dead middle of the bottom of the engine, above the motor mount itself. Ridiculous! I dropped off my car for an alignment and the professionalism and quality of customer service I received from the workers and management was amazing. They were busy that day but they managed to get my car done in a timely and professional manner and now my car runs like a charm. I'd definitely get my car serviced again at Famous Cassatt. If you do, speak to the store manager Ricky and tell him I sent you. He always keeps his word to his customers.Service: Wheel alignment
