Had them replace a spark plug for a misfire on cylinder number three. Drove the car 44 miles and it started overheating. Took the car back to them and they said it was the same error code they had supposedly fixed two weeks prior. Was told that I now need a new engine but would not tell me how they come to that conclusion. Had taken my car there for over two years without problems and the manager has changed twice in the last half year and it is horrible. Have now taken my car to a ASE certified JEEP dealership and will definitely submitting results to the !!! And my attorney

When we first started using them service was great stil is except the tire warranty that doesn t cover anything , second set of tires we bought and with both sets had a flat and wasn t covered,why not sell the road hazard and actually fix the tires instead of calling it free and not fixing the tire. They claimed we drove on it flat ,you can t tell me that every time you get a flat you can pull over immediately that s not always the case. We talked to them this morning. They did not even cut us one penny of a break on the new tire just not good business practice.

Don t take your car to them. Not only did they lose the panel to protect our battery. They tried to scam me into buying a new batter and nothing was wrong with the old one. Had to pay 142 for them to take the battery off because they said it no longer worked. Now have to pay 100 for a new panel they didn t put on correct. Told us it was our fault even though we rode from the south side. With it. I will be contacting bbb on them

I gave them a call figuring I needed to make an appointment, but they told me to just come on in. Christy was there from a sister location in San Jose helping out and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Fantastic customer service and awesome follow-up. They took care of my issue fast and didn't try to sell me on any useless services that I didn't need. I was so happy with thr news I got that I actually inquired in other services that could have waited. The staff is knowledgeable, highly efficient, and extremely professional. I'm a new customer for life and will certainly go to the San Jose location as well just to work with Christy again. Great customer service. Replaced brakes and rotors, brake fluid flush, and oil change. Completed what needed to be done and didn't push other sales. Will go back again, when/if needed.

Greg made my experience beyond comfortable he is super polite and extremely detailed and informative. The quality and speed of work was fantastic. You can clearly see the employees there really respect him and he has a great relationship with each one. I have never felt so welcomed and comfortable at a mechanic shop!! Front desk was friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. Advised that I had a flat tire and one of the mechanics took my car back ASAP. Staff were friendly and I was in and out in less than 40 minutes!Service: TiresService: Tires

I needed my cabin air filter replaced. Was quoted a ridiculous price by another auto shop. Famous did the job quickly at a very fair price. I will return for other needed car repairs. Highly recommend this shop.

This is a place where you don't mind being at all day if you have to be. Atmosphere is very welcoming. Just make sure you have a snack pack. . They will take care of you!!!! Greg you are an awesome guy!!! Thanks to your team!!!

Visited Famous Automotive for a fuel induction service. Manager Greg is very honest, thorough, and easy going. Service tech even came over just to greet me. Satisfactory service....most definitely noticed an improved difference in my car's performance with acceleration and idling. Highly recommend getting your service here.

I have an older vehicle and have some pretty bad problems with the suspension and other issues. They had me bring it in and gave me a free 28? point inspection and recommended several items, some that were safety related. Brought it in and work was completed professionally and on time. I am going to have more work completed when I can. I cannot say enough about how helpful they were, explaining everything in detail and even showing me what they were talking about. I would not hesitate to have them take care of my vehicle.

I had stopped at this service department over a year ago and had them do a minor repair. The whole time I was sitting there I watched how the workers and manager interaction was like a fine tuned "Team". Everybody got along so well and seemed to be enjoying what they were doing.Last week I started having a start problem with one of my cars. The first thing I did was call my local Honda dealership. When talking to the service advisor it seemed to me like he could care less about me or my car. I explained that I was pretty sure that I needed a Starter, he said that in order to quote me a price he would need to call me back. After a hour and a half he called me and gave me a price, not sure when they could get started or when I would be able to get it back.I decided to call "Famous Automotive and Tire". Chris answered the phone and without hesitation let me know to the penny out the door tax and everything what it would cost. I then asked when could they do the work, and he said that if I could get it in there he could get rite on it and possibly have it finished today. It was now 1:30, he gave me the phone number for a tow company they use. I called and within one hour and 15 minutes my car was at "Famous Automotive and Tire". Less time then what it took me to get a quote from Honda.Chris called me and let me know the car was there and that he would call me as soon as it was finished.5:30 Chris called me and said that the car was finished.Wow!!!! What a great wonderful experience.Help keep these guys in business. It is so hard to find honest hard working businesses anymore.I highly recommend this place to anyone that is in need of any automotive service. Help keep these guys busy. It's very hard to find an honest hard working manager of a car service center and when you do find one, it's like finding a unicorn. Greg is that unicorn. This place is the most honest place I've been to, Kelly helped me and I told her I was buying a new car and I wanted to make sure it was safe, she got me in for an appointment an hour later and the did a full diagnostic check on me car and they told me it was in great shape and that they would buy it. Worst experience ever! My husband made an appointment at 8a but made it at 8:05 due to us recently being injured in a car accident. Keri told my husband that someone else was there so he had to wait an hour. When he tried to complain about it and asked to speak to management he was given the same number for the store. He came outside to talk to me on the phone and Chris walked up to him and said, do you have a problem?. In a really hostile tone. I was shocked so I asked him who was talking to him like that because he sounded really aggressive even though we are the ones still waiting for a service. I don t know if Chris is like this with everyone but the way he approached my husband I wouldn t be surprised if he was into something else shady. Standard business practice is to apologize for the inconvenience and make the customer happy. This company claims to make you feel famous.. Lies!!

I brought my car in for repairs on a Sunday afternoon. Despite the repairs being more expansive than initially thought, the team still had my car ready on Tuesday.Chris stayed in touch the entire time. He went truly above and beyond to make sure our vehicle was finished in a timely manner and done right the first time. Josh and the other staff was helpful, pleasant, and approachable. They informed me every step of my vehicles inspection. Showed me any discrepancies and did it all for a reasonable price. Definitely coming back and making this my regular body shop.

Let me say I have never been treated with such honesty, fairness and friendliness! My wheel sounded like it was falling off. All 4 men put my car on the rack and took my tires off. They found the problem and quickly fixed it. I was off and running in no time. At first I felt so lost but the manager Chris Norman put my fears to rest. Wow, I was in tears I was so Grateful. He even gave me pointers of things to do and not to do that I had never been told. I felt so relieved and well taken care of. I would highly recommend them for all of your needs. They are well seasoned and very professional! I will send all my friends and family to them in the future. It feels so comforting to know I have a great place I can take my car for services! Excellent service! Was there today for A/C inspection and recharge, brake inspection, oil change and tire rotation. Chris was friendly, honest, helpful and knowledgeable and was able to get it all done while I waited. Bill was also friendly and thorough with inspecting my car.
