**update** while we were on a road trip, the same issue cropped back up a month after getting serviced here. Coggin missed a failing belt tensioner when they worked on it. The good news here is that Coggin stands by their work and compensated me for having to get the part replaced while on the road trip.Bottom line, Coggin stands by their work and has great customer service.4.5 / 5 stars. We discovered an issue on Saturday morning and this place was one of the few that were open that I would expect to have Honda parts on hand. I had to call them (not kidding) 15+ times to get someone to answer the phone.Once I actually talked to someone, they said they might be able to look at the car after it was towed in. About 1.5 hours later when we were able to get it towed in, the guy I talked to said there were now 10 cars ahead of us and it would not get looked at. Is what it is, just documenting my experience.Once they were able to look at it on Monday, they sent me over an inspection report and job estimate. I got to approve which work I wanted done which was pretty slick. Car was ready that evening.. $2600 later. (Ouch!)

This is by far the worse customer service i have ever gotten from honda atlantic jacksonville.I am a very loyal customer for years purchased 2 brand new cars and stick to them for all my servicing even when am out of town i find a honda dealership to take care of my cars i was thinking about adding a third honda to the family but MELVIN you made me change my mind as a customer service representative you where very rude loud and not understanding. You never no what a person going through or their situation.you have not been dealing with my car for 24 hours you said you would have called back the day it was bought to you but you didn t and I heard from you the next day I add make a financial decision and am sorry if I wasn t on your time

Had to call 6 times before we finally got a live representative on a recall repair. Representative was not helpful at all act like did not care about returning our calls. They know that the warranty was covering and paying for it so, I would not recommend having my Honda repaired or going back to this place.

Highly recommend the service dept here. Nick really helped us getting the Odyssey repaired. Appreciate the great service and going out of his way to help us after the sale.

THEY DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGED THEIR BROWN CUSTOMERS WHEN WE WALK IN! I SAT THERE FOR A HOUR AND WATCH THESE GUYS SPEAK TO EVERY COLOR BUT BROWN!! AS I WAITED FOR A FINANCAL ASSISTANT. PLEASE TRY OR AT LEAST ATTEMPT TO SPEAK TO ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS. Thanks

After spending 1,000$ on services for my vehicle, it chaps my a$$ being asked to donate to HBCU. Come on guys? This will be reported to Honda corporate. A local Honda dealership has no place requesting such donations whether you re diverse or not.

I would advise anyone who needs work done on their vehicle to go somewhere else. I came in to get two main issues on my car taken care of. That was my a/c and electric door. They provided a list to me saying I had multiple other things that needed to be fixed immediately. I took the bait thinking it would be worth it in the long run. A few hours after I picked the van up my door quit working again and a few days later the a/c goes out again. Then they tell me I need to pay $1600 for a new compressor. After haggling with them for way too long they finally said they would discount the compressor but ive decided to go somewhere else because i do not trust their work and dont want to waste even more money. I truly feel scammed i would've never spent so much on the other things if the main issues weren't going to be fixed. I've lost a significant amount of money over this and think the managers of the service area are pretty snakey people.

They did my A/C warranty work and David Lee had been a great service advisor and also Mike Hernandez for putting me in a loaner car. There were delays but I was informed about it right away.

My husband needed a vehicle asap. So many dealerships didn't have anything we liked, or they charged a ridiculous amount of fees. Then we found Ms. Deborah, she was transparent, dedicated, attentive to our needs, easy to talk to, she got us a great deal on a car my husband loves, and she was also fun to talk to! We had ordered a car that was going to take 10 days to come in. She knew our situation and called us when a simular model became available and stayed past closing to make sure we got the car. Getting a vehicle these days is difficult due to shortage. She made sure we were taken care of! Everyone we encountered was nice and easy to talk to! I also spent the least amount of time at the dealership than any other dealership ever. The signing of the papers was quick and efficient! 10 out of 10 Highly recommend! Next vehicle we get, we are going back to Deborah!

Coggin Honda is a great place to buy a car and for service. I went in looking to trade my car for a used car, but I left with a brand new car and an amazing deal. The second I stepped foot on the lot, I was greeted outside in the parking lot with a big smile from a sales associate ready to help. Max was not only professional, he was kind, friendly, and passionate about his job. Max showed me all the features on the Honda Civic Sport and went into great detail about how great the car is. I came back for a window tint and before I could even get out of my car I had service employees greeting me with a big wave. They came right up and addressed me by name. Their service is unbeatable and they are incredibly friendly. I would recommend Coggin Honda to anyone looking for a new or used car.

I recently used Coggin Honda for an oil change and rotation, however my HRV also had an irritating rattle coming from the rear hatch. When I mentioned this issue, Ian and the team at Coggin went above and beyond expectations to figure out the root cause and correct the issue. No more rattle! Excellent experience at Coggin Honda Service Department recently. They texted work that I needed done with photos to prove it. I was able to approve the work in a reply text, and my car was then serviced promptly and at a reasonable cost. They topped it off with a complimentary car wash! This is where to take your Honda for service.

I made an appointment at 10:20 AM for an oil change. When I dropped my car off, I was told my service would be done at 2 PM. I didn t hear from anyone all day. Normally when you have service here you get status updates via text message while your vehicle is being serviced. I figured they would be busy since it s Saturday. I called, and was told my service advisor was with another customer and would call me back. Didn t get a call back, so decided to go back up there. I was told my vehicle still had not been serviced. I ended up leaving without my service. When I asked what was the point of making an appointment if I still have to wait all day, I was just given the short staffed speech. They offered me a free oil change because of the inconvenience, however this is pointless to me because it s clear that my time is not important or valuable.

The staff is warm, welcoming and professional. They arranged rides so I could go home and return the next day to pick up my car. The repairs were explained and the estimate was realistic do I knew what to expect. They helped me prioritize what needed immediate attention and what could wait. The work done was excellent!

I have always taken my car to Honda for service in numerous locations over the years and this was by far the worst I have ever received. Paid over $200 for a repair on my rotors and 2 months later (at a different Honda) was told there was no way the initial repair had been done. When I attempted to contact Coggin I was told there was nothing that could be done. My call was never returned from service manager.Edited to add After several weeks and numerous calls I have received a satisfactory outcome to my complaint from Coggin Honda.

Good service at a fair price and treated like a person instead of another number. Like any shop we as the customer must do our due diligence but I enjoy the level of service and one on one interaction here over name brand shops. Not to mention if your service manager is busy there is always someone else to help.

Terrible service. Do NOT go to this dealership if you ever want good service and a fair price. I was told several different prices and I go to pick my car up and the cost was hundreds over the original quote. On top of that, everything was supposed to be covered under my warranty. My car wasn't even a year old. I purchased my car from them..brand new. Only 9 miles on it. Please do yourself a favor and take your vehicle to another mechanic in town.

Sales department will charge you more than four times the price posted online by Honda for accessories. I agreed to buy a car online showed up and they added several options that I didn't want. They had an accord on the lot with some factory accessories and were charging 15k for them. I ended up buying another car from them, which I regret. I went back and had the accessories added by the service department after buying the car for a fifth of the price. They low balled me on my trade in worse than expected. I had to get an estimate from CarMax before they gave me a fairish price. Service department does not honor appointments. I like that Accord I bought. But won't buy another car from that dealership. I'm due for a new car. The salesman was awesome, his boss , Bridget, she is a piece of work.

Kudos to the service department at Coggins Honda in Jacksonville for being so courteous and prompt with my vehicles service! Fair price and parts in stock made it easy to say yes when I needed tires during a routine safety inspection. I had a scheduled oil change appointment for 11:45am, I did not receive my car back until around 2:30pm. I was promised one hour for the service, and waited nearly 3 hours for an oil change. Making things worse, I informed the service manager on my arrival that I had an important meeting and would need the car back quickly, I ended up missing my meeting due to the incompetency this service department. I will not be returning.

Mike Hernandez and Ian Valentine in the service department were great! I initially had 2 appointments for 2 different services, and they took care of both at the initial visit. It was incredibly convenient!!! Highly recommend

Enid was nothing short of AMAZING. For this purchase I'd travel to several cities surrounding Jax. Looked at numerous vehicles and OMG other salesman. Enid sincerity during our visit to the lot sold me my car. Great selection of vehicle to choose from with coupled with his integrity is why we purchased this car!!! Outstanding, young man. Sales manager Charles will not return phone calls. Girlfriend went in for a tire rotation...left with warning lights all over dash and the paperwork for a different car! She called the following day and they tried to scam her out of 300 for a "diagnostic" for a problem they definitely caused. The car is low mileage, rarely driven and no prior issues. She gets all preventative maint at dealership. I was out of town and called and the service center told my I should have stopped in sooner as it had been 2 weeks. I told them I should have to be calling at all and my girlfriend shouldn't have to miss more work and get the run around from this department. They didn't like hearing that, so they left me on hold so they didn't have to deal w me until I hung up 20 mins later. Bad customer service, careless car service too. Avenues was trustworthy.

When called back to service person assigned to me was not available and was promised by who answered phone would give call back, never did.Person on phone stated only person that could help was the one assigned. Stated could not just return car to correct issue had ty o go through person assigned who never returned call
