My Chevy Camaro was a hot mess! I called Scott, and they fixed my ac, which I called about for a reasonable price. Not only that, he went through and fixed a few other issues I had going on. My car is running great!!I fully trust this shop with my car!

I'm a busy Realtor, and I don't have time to deal with dishonest mechanics. That's why I'm so grateful for Carroll Autowerks. They're the most honest mechanics I've ever met.I've always been impressed with their integrity, and quality of work. They never try to overcharge me or sell me unnecessary services. They're always upfront about the cost of repairs and the estimated time frame. They always take the time to explain the problem and give me options for repair. This is my go to repair shop and should be yours too!

Scott is absolutely amazing! This is no dealership or corporate business - it is truly family owned. Scott makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in. Without hesitation after I walked in for the first time, he checked out the engine of my car and even quickly fixed by hand a bumper I was certain I would have to replace for a large sum of money right in the parking lot. Extremely fair and honest pricing, absolutely no delays in estimates and communication, extremely informative, and no ridiculous delays in service.Never going anywhere else in town. Known Scott since 2002 and he has always been a great guy. Hard working and always goes the extra mile. (Customer first) He found my husband a car for our 16 yr old and made sure it was completely free of any issues and fixed everything right so she could be driving a reliable and reasonable car. Scott and his team have serviced three of my cars over the past 10 years, including two BMWs and a Lexus. Both he and his team are hardworking, diligent, and care about the quality of their work. They have performed pre-purchase checks, basic maintenance, suspension work, diagnosed issues, and installed both OEM parts and aftermarket performance parts on my vehicles. In numerous instances, Scott has gone beyond expectations to locate information and parts and has successfully diagnosed/solved problems even the dealership could not. Incredible first time experience at Carroll Autowerks with my 5-series bimmer. Quoted FAIR pricing and quality of workmanship is excellent. I highly recommend this shop not only because they have reasonable pricing for their work, but also because they treat their customers with respect. Originally recommended by my girlfriend s mother who s brought her Volkswagen here and also had a great experience. I m so glad I listened to her. I will definitely be back!

First, let me say that it was a blessing to meet Scott and to have him work on my car (2018 BMW X3i) . He is pleasant, friendly, honest and just a cool guy. His workers are great too. He did a full inspection of my vehicle and saved me from being robbed by the infamous "BMW crooked dealer" of Orange Park. It's ironic how the dealer wanted to charge me nearly $5000.00 for struts and rear brakes but never noticed the leak in my radiator...mind you, I went to the dealer twice to get my antifreeze topped off because I had the low coolant notification twice. Also, I paid them for a full inspection and have the inspection video with the mechanic stating everything was fine except my brakes and struts. Now that I have found Scott and his team, crooked BMW dealer in Orange Park will never get my money again. I can't thank you enough Scott!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

BMW owners - first I wanted to say that this is unsolicited and I've rarely felt compelled to write a Google Review.I took my 2009 335i to Carrol Autowerks because I was told that I had a phantom drain on the new battery I had purchased from another company 6 months ago. The problem was only happening intermittently. The battery tested fine at that location, and also at Carrol. Scott and his guys worked on the car for a week, and tried all sorts of different things to get it handled. After Scott called me and told me that the issue had them stumped and had never seen this problem before he then said that he was going to put a different battery in the car and see if that worked. He had me take it home for several days to see if that would fix the issue....and it did. I called the original company and they agreed to replace the battery since it was still under warranty. When we told Scott this, and asked him what we owed him for this, he said to just bring his battery back to him. I am in shock, and awe, that he would be as kind and generous with his time and energy in helping us get this issue resolved. I don't want to have to get my car fixed, but rest assured I will never go anywhere else but Carroll, and I want to encourage others to do the same. There are still good people in this world! Thank you, Scott!

Carroll Autowerks is a top-notch auto repair shop. They recently replaced the valve cover on my BMW 535i and did an excellent job. The team is highly skilled and knowledgeable, and they were able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly and efficiently. The customer service was also outstanding - they kept me informed throughout the process and were very friendly and professional. I highly recommend Carroll Autowerks for any of your auto repair needs.

Was nervous about buying a 2011 BMW with 119,000 miles but Scott at Carroll Autowerks did a comprehensive pre-purchase inspection. As expected, she needed some work, but I went ahead with the purchase and put it into Scott s capable hands. Quality work, reasonable price, and I appreciated the fact he didn t return the car until HE was satisfied with the result. Kevin in the front office was a pleasure to speak with, and I am overall pleased to have found a BMW mechanic to trust.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Completely unprofessional. Truly a wonder how they run their business. My car has been there 2 weeks for VERY simple work. I asked for a quote. Every time I call or show up in person even, its oh yeah we ll definitely give you a call back tomorrow 2 weeks later and I still don t have my m3 let alone a quote.Changing my review to 3 stars because they do honest quality work. Their work is also warranted for 2 years.

I brought in my older vehicle and they treated it quickly and very fairly. They were so pleasant and attendant on the phone. Not one time did I feel rushed, pressured or persuaded. My new go to for service.

Seriously the best service and shop in town!!I own a Benz and my friends( that own BMW s) recommended Scott to do my oil changes... let s just say service is cheaper then taking to the dealership and I totally trust Scott and his team to work on my car. If I have an issue he makes sure he makes time that day to look at it and to fix ASAP!! Everyone at the shop makes you feel like family when you are there... they are honest and affordable!! Amazing people!!!

This shop is great to work with, they're very honest and up front about the work that needs to be done to the vehicle. In my case I knew going in that it was going to be a major repair, but unfortunately my older car needed a full engine replacement. I decided not to have it done due to the value of the vehicle and the guys completely understood and agreed with the cost to value ratio. They do tend to take a bit to get back to you, but I'm certain that's just because they're so busy! Is definitely take other cars to them.

So I came to Carroll Autowerks because I got told at a dealership that my car needed over $1000 in services and I was flabbergasted. I looked for a mechanic, and this popped up with fantastic reviews. I called and Scott picked up, and told me that there was no way the required repairs were over $1000, that he likely could get them done for half the price. He advised me to look at my car, and if it was drivable bring it to him. If not, he would give me a number to have it towed. I quickly went and picked up my car and took it to Carroll, where I was greeted quickly and professionally by Melissa. She informed me they would let me know what s going on with the car as well as be prepared with a quote so I had a better idea of expenses. I get a call maybe an hour or so later (which I didn t mind as I dropped my car off without an appointment, Scott was kind enough to squeeze me in) to be told that NOTHING is wrong with my car save for a mess on the battery which they cleaned for free. Nothing the dealer had quoted me for was wrong. They left my car out front for me to pick up after hours at my request, and just like that they ve become my trusted mechanic. This business saved me over $1000 that I don t have due to being jobless in this debacle. I can t thank them enough.

I am beyond happy with the service and professionalism. I brought my BMW X5 to them because I was paying for maintenance and still experiencing the same problems just getting worse. Not only did Carroll Autowerks fix my laundry list of mechanical sabotage but they did it within my budget. I m so pleased to have them restore my love for my vehicle but also in my trust in a Great Mechanic!!!! I recommend this shop to anyone who will listen!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Scott has been our mechanic for several years now. We love BMW s and refuse to drive anything else especially after a car accident 3 years ago. BMW saved our life. Scott is very knowledgeable and reliable. He is also the best priced mechanic in town. He made owning a BMW a good experience for us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.

I don't know why, but I still am surprised by how great this company is. They give what seems to be a fair price (definitely less than the dealer service), and will talk to you about options and best route to go even if that does not result in business for them. For instance, the owner Scott spoke with me for about 15 minutes about the oil consumption issue in my X5 (E70), and whether or not it is worth replacing the engine at part of the cost (which is not business for him). Thanks Autowerks for being a place I can take my BMW's for service without the frustration that the other place in town causes!

Best mechanic shop i have EVER experienced. Scott is both knowledgeable, and honest about his work. I will ONLY be taking my 07 BMW 335i to Carroll Autowerks from now on. Would recommend this shop to any and all looking for an honest place to get maintenance or upgrades done to your BMW. Vehicle was returned to me on schedule with his ETA, and the price could not be beat anywhere else. Plus, family oriented business, and your dealing with the same knowledgeable people throughout the entire process. (not 10 different sales guys at the "stealer"ship). If you own a BMW in North-East Florida, take it to Scott.

Have gone here multiple times for my bmw 535xi. This place is awesome, friendly staff and fair pricing. They even took me on a Saturday morning without an appointment to fix a broken water pump, turned out being my lucky day. Would definitely recommend them for automotive repairs. Owner even dropped me off to my house instead of waiting at the shop stove I lived close by.

I have multiple BMW's in my family, including my own two M cars, an E46 and E90. Scott Carroll has maintained our cars for more than 10 years now. He has serviced my E46 M since new, and it now boasts over 238k miles on the odometer. Scott is honest, provides excellent service, and has extremely competitive rates. Basically, Scott has provided my family with the exact opposite experience of what the only BMW dealer in town provides. Scott and his team promptly diagnose and address the issue, and he goes out of his way to find a solution that works for you. I recommend anyone driving a BMW in the Jacksonville/St. Augustine area to give Carroll Autowerks a chance to win you over next time you need a good mechanic.

Scott and his team are excellent. They provide excellent customer service and superior workmanship. The offer very reasonable prices and they are very knowledgeable and honest. I took my 2004 BMW M3 for an oil leak after the dealer had changed the oil. They found a stripped oil plug from the previous oil change. I continued taking for an upgrade brakes to CSL competition package and an Inspection II. I will not be taking my M3 anywhere else other than Carroll's in the future. Extremely recommend.

I have used and recommended Carroll Autowerks over the past year for several items needed on my BMW. The shop does great work and most important they do not overcharge or do unnecessary repairs. Scott goes above and beyond to ensure that you are getting the best service and price that he can provide! Highly recommend them for all BMW service needs!

Scott is always on point with my little Mazda when it comes to repairs and maintenance. Just had my last repair done and he told me that my car wasn t safe to drive before the repairs. He knows what he and his team are doing and I trust him. He fixed the drive Axel and transmission mounts that was causing the safety issues and now my car rides smoother than ever.
