If you want a reliable vehicle with low miles but have bad credit CarMax and Mr. Hugh Laughlin will go above and beyond to put you into a car! My only complaint is that my down payment was much higher than quoted online and over the phone.

Wish all dealerships were like this. Did all the financing and approval online so I knew exactly what I will be paying before I even walked into the store. Once in store I check out the vehicle and made an appointment to come back later to complete paperwork and take delivery. Paperwork and payment was completed in less than an hour. Very satisfied with my purchase and experience.

Ms.Margrette took care of us like family. She is professional and personable, efficient and thorough. She maintained an open line for communication and handled our time, car, and family with care. Randy also kept a positive attitude and genuinely seemed to gain pleasure in helping us.We recently purchased a mini van and it needed a part. Nation wide back order from the dealership they held our car for about two months but we were put in loaner vehicles. It came with a sun pass and gave us loaner big enough to fit our family size.I enjoy working with the team.

I was looking for a new car and looking to get rid of my old Nissan. I sent my fianc� in looking for me and Arias was such a huge help. My fianc� and I went in on a Sunday afternoon and found the perfect car. They accepted my car as a trade in and we rolled out in a practically new used car with low milage. Bill was also very friendly and helpful. They both made sure to work with me and find something in my price range. I will always be going to Carmax for my cars and referring everyone I know who needs a new car with great customer service!

I did a lot of the process over the phone which was a great experience. The lady who I was talking with was very helpful and helped me pick out the right truck. Did all the paperwork through emails and had everything ready when I went and picked up my truck. It was the easiest car buying experience I have ever had almost like it was a dream or what bad was going to happen.

Our buying situation was unique with my husband away for work, but Fred alongside his managers, were able to get me in and out as soon as possible. Sara was very efficient and friendly. She made the entire process very smooth and easy. It helped that my nephew was there the day before and obtained the quote for me. We were in and out in just over 30 minutes. My only issue has been that the Florida DMV says the title has not transferred yet, so my insurance does not want for me to drop coverage until you all get the title changed over.

Went to sell our car back. The process was simple, but I had to wait a long time to get our check. It was the end o the day and everyone was getting ready to go home. Other than that, I was happy with our offer for our car.

I was so pleasantly surprised with my car buying experience. This was my first time buying a car by myself. I had an idea of what I wanted but didn't know what I didn't know. I didn't know the right questions to ask or what I should focus on. My family has bought cars from CarMax for the last 20 years because there is transparency and no need to haggle. I was fearful of being "duped." However, when I walked in I was met by Rebekah and given respect and patience. She eased my fears, walked me through the process, let me ask all the stupid questions and answered them with great knowledge. Anything she didn't know she found out for me. She did not add any pressure and figuratively "held my hand" through the process. She offered great insight and assistance. Her supervisor also checked in with me during the process, gave a little background as to his history with CarMax, and made me feel welcome. Once we entered the financial side, Hope was very helpful, efficient, and provided great care. I could not recommend this location, Rebekah, and the staff she worked with enough.

DO NOT GO TO CAR MAX! It is a roll of the dice as far as the quality of your vehicle. I bought a 2019 Chevy and the transmission went out two days later. They said the quickest they could service the vehicle was two weeks. I needed a second vehicle. I called multiple times to see if I can get an earlier appointment and they sent me somewhere where they don't even work on transmissions. I went to return my vehicle for a refund when they offered a loner vehicle till the next appointment. They offered that last minute but never said anything the four times I called. Go to a bigger dealership where they guarantee quality in every vehicle they sell. They clearly don't service vehicles before selling them.

I provided all information necessary to use your so call express services. I spoke with several personnel that I repeating gave the same information over and over again and provided very timely feedback. I still had to wait nearly three hours, even after arriving easier. I was force to miss a meeting that cost me money and time.

Hugh Laughlin took OUTSTANDING care of us from the moment we walked in the door to completing our purchase! We were greeted by everyone and TRULY felt welcomed! EVERYTHING from start to finish was PERFECT! The timing of the auto purchase process was quick and professional! We will DEFINITELY be back!!! Do not under any circumstances buy a car from this dealership. They are nothing but scammers and liars. Just bought a Jeep wrangler from there and they were supposed to fix the alignment and a water leak prior to pick up. I waited an extra week and 1 2 to pick it up. They told me the alignment was done and they claimed the leak came from the window so there was nothing to fix there. I picked it up and they didn't fix either item but claimed that they did. Took the truck to a tire place and the alignment was off and needed to be fix, cost me $110. Still have to fix the water leak which i googled and apparently is coming from the a/c. Sad part is I dealt with the sales manager Janic Peri who was the main person who lied and stated they had fixed the vehicle when they hadn't. Emailed her the bill for the alignment along with the diagnostic proving the alignment was off and big surprise heard nothing. Please beware of this dealership.

CarMax and DJ are doing their thang! I had the most amazing experience buying my car last Sunday. I sat all day at Kia of Orange Park and it was exhausting. They tried to get me into something I did not want. I drove down the road to CarMax and met with DJ, he was so patient with me. I knew what type of car I wanted but didn't know what brand. I looked through just about every third-row vehicle and brought my handy dandy tape measure to make sure I had the space I needed. I left without a car that day because I was overwhelmed with my options. I went through my pros and cons and decided on a 2016 Ford Explorer Sport. I had one shipped here, it was only a few days to wait for my vehicle! I went with the Express Pickup option, on pick up day I was in and out of CarMax within 30 minutes! CarMax will be my go-to for purchasing vehicles from now on! Thank you, DJ and CarMax for a non-stressful car buying experience!

I received an online estimate from one location, but ended up going to another site to turn in the vehicle. Once they looked at the vehicle I had to come back with the title, keys, and registration, as I did not have those on me at the time. The location I turn the car in at was near where I was purchasing my new car. The process was straight forward and simple. All the people were very friendly and there was absolutely no pressure. The price for my car was much more than the dealer offered and not much below what I think I could have sold it for. I highly recommend checking CARMAX out before you list your vehicle privately to see if you think the hassle of selling yourself is worth the little more you will get!

History of how I ended up at Carmax. I FIRST WENT TO coggins nissan on Atlantic Blvd. I went in for a car. I did the application left with a signed contract and then get told my contract has to be redone because things expired. 2nd contract sign again and then more problems mind you I have registered and insured my car. They void it and then tell me I need to redo my entire application to get a new lender. The whole thing was a mess that went on for 2.5 months. Now I do my part and give them back the car because I don't care for the terms and do my part by immediately returning the vehicle and they want me to wait while then finish their last month's sales to cut me my deposit check back. They have made my life so stressful. I was in a bad car accident and they claimed they would help me and all they did was make my life worse and I can't even get my money back on time. This is bad business. I am extremely disappointed and still waiting on my money. Meanwhile I have no car and cannot even begin to look because they have my deposit.but if I would've kept the car they would have had no issues charging me per day...smh. it's funny because once I finally got my deposit back that I had planned to use for a 2014 nissan altima. I instead went to carmax and got a 2021 Suv with better terms and significantly lower down payment. And their contract was done in 20 minutes with no problems. Thank you Carmax for such amazing service. Now go teach the other dealership how it's done.

I had a great experience w/ Derrick Whigham at Carmax West Jacksonville. It took a while to transfer the vehicle and he was extremely helpful in keeping me up to date on everything. Once the vehicle arrived he was helpful in working through the purchase process. I would recommend Derrick and Carmax West Jacksonville to anyone looking to purchase or sell a vehicle.

Do not trust these people. My daughter bought a Subaru in August here and for months oil was leaking, we took it back multiple times to get it fixed and they never fixed it, oil still leaking all over brand new driveway! Finally they agreed to let Subaru dealer fix it. It took 4 months of complaining and tons of wasted time on the phone and back and forth to their service department. Their service department never answered phones or took our concerns seriously. I will never do business here again!

We came in here last night to sell my previous vehicle and ended up trading it in for a beautiful new Santa Fe!! The process was quick and painless and our salesman, Andrew was the absolute best! Even the process of signing paperwork was great! Mia in the business office was friendly and sweet, she made sure we knew exactly what we were signing. We will definitely be back when it is time to get another vehicle.

Purchased my first vehicle from here when I went to get my oil change and tire rotation I was told that was tires were severely dry rotted and about 6 years old. Carmax did resolve the issue swiftly. I would recommend a car check before purchasing any vehicle from them.

I did the express pickup & it was super fast & very painless no issues was in & out of the store within 6 minutes with my new car I appreciate how the express pickup works it makes it fast for people who don t have a lot of time to spend at a dealer & my sales advisor was honest & friendly & respectful

The salesman Mr D.J. is awesome he works very well trying to assist and make custom happy. We're in a deficiency and a pandemic prices of sky high for everything minimum wages are at its lowest but as far as living to supply yourself and family with needs the congressman the legislators the senator as well as the President of the United States all need to come together everyone needs transportation Mr DJ did an excellent job however CarMax rules are excruciating who is walking with $7500. To put down on a vehicle if you have 7,500 cash money you can go to the auction and purchase a vehicle between the years of 2018 and 2021 does it make any sense we all are struggling and you guys doesn't make it any easier Mr DJ did an excellent job

Everything was Great EXCEPT CarMax didn't ask if I'd be transferring a tag, they just issued me a new tag right on the spot (they're registered as a Tag Agency). This cost me an additional $225!!!

I thought this would be a great experience however, it has turned into a nightmare. I purchased my vehicle late January 2023 from this location. I drove this vehicle back to Georgia with the hopes that this would be a long-term vehicle that I would keep. I have complained about frontend noise for a while. The service department kept telling me they couldn t find anything wrong. However, I knew I was traveling for the holidays and was told I had to use the maxcare warranty that I purchased to have my car checked out. Turns out I have major issues regarding my axle, struts, annd other issues. I was only allowed seven days for a rental. I am completely without a vehicle and here it is two weeks later, the Repair Shop is having to go back-and-forth with the warranty company because they are lowballing the price of the part that they are willing to pay which would be more out-of-pocket money for me. There is no way I should be having major issues with the vehicle in less than 10 months it was my plan to purchase another vehicle from Carmax ;however, after this, I will tell everybody I know to never deal with Carmax and furthermore do not purchase the MaxCare. It is a rip off. I hate I ever dealt with Carmax. I hate I purchased this vehicle. To say I have buyers remorse is an understatement!
