John did a great job staying on top of getting my transmission replaced for my jeep through my warranty. They even helped me get it fixed in time for my new job. Been a few weeks and transmission is driving great.Had to come back for a leak from the manufacture and John and the staff worked some magic got me in and out before the weekend and didn t charge me for the issue. Cargo is on top of it

Ricky is an amazing mechanic. He goes above and beyond. I have been using cargo for years since I was younger to now my 40s from everything from Pontiac, Mercedes to Toyota vehicles. He will inspect vehicles that you are thinking of purchasing and let you know his honest opinion regardless of what dealers try to swindle you on. His guys do the job right. I can't think of a better shop honestly.

Had my engine seize (thankfully it was under warranty) and got it taken care of by Cargo. They made it all super easy, quick, and overall a great experience (except for the motor thing ) Thank you!

The one thing we never want is transmission issues. I was referred to Cargo Transmission by a local mechanic and from the time I called them until I picked my vehicle up I felt like I had been going to them my entire life. Everyone was so kind, listened to you explain the issues your were experiencing and delivered not so pleasant news with a soft tone, almost like they were telling themselves or family.If you fine yourself having transmission issues, I highly recommend Cargo Transmission be your first call!

I was referred to Cargo by another Car Mechanic. My transmission decided to start slipping and the fluid broke down from being overheated. Cargo made a believer out of me!!From the front of the shop to the mechanics in the back all were professional and very easy to work with!!They took a very bad situation that no one wants to happen to them and turned it into a very pleasant experience. Cargo will definitely get my referral going forward! Thank you Gary and John!!!

The guys at Cargo had my entire transmission taken out, rebuilt, and reinstalled with a new transmission cooler in less than a week. Great service and communication, my truck runs like new again.

Absolutely fantastic experience! I was impressed by their honesty and knowledge about my car. I came in to have some Transmission Service done and to replace my transmission mount. Before starting the work they did a quick check over on my car and they we're concerned that I may have an engine issue. Before doing any work they recommended I have the engine issue confirmed. Many shops would have just done the work and then said oh by the way your engine is bad. I greatly appreciate their honesty and integrity. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I will be back as soon as I get my engine checked out.

Gary got us in & out quick with a new rebuilt transmission for our Ford E-250. They serviced the van & took care of what was needed while the transmission was out. Saved us a lot of money & headache! We highly recommend them.

We were referred by my brother in law. John helped us. The estimate was ready after 3 days. The price quoted was for a complete rebuild and seemed high at first, but after calling around and considering the recommendation and reviews, Cargo Transmission wasn't so high. I feel confident in recommending Cargo Transmission!

I wanted to do a review after 5 years. I recently stopped by cargo on a delivery for my job and got to thinking about how great of a job they did and how much money they saved me.My car had 210k miles when the transmission went out. I got it rebuilt for a reasonable price. Im at 280k now without a single issue. For far less than a down payment on a new car Ive kept a car I had paid off in 2005 running perfectly for over an additional 5 years thanks to cargo transmissions.

We are a plumbing company and have several work vans, we had a transmission problem over a year ago and took the van to Chevrolet, it cost a whole lot more then Cargo and has had problems. I have trusted Cargo since 2011 based on a referral from a friend. I m a female and I love my cars. I currently have a Challenger SRT8, but they have serviced both my Charger R/T & SRT8 in the past. The gentleman here are a pleasure to do business with. I love taking my car here because they are thorough, professional, and reliable. I was very lucky to have this business recommended to me as the customer service, prices, and people were all outstanding. Although there was no need to service my car, I learned so much about it and how it works which was a plus!! If there was anyway I can give cargo transmission 10 stars. I definitely would. Customer service was top of the line. They were honest, fair, and very reasonable with telhe pricing and labor. I even had an issue with one of my tires and even though they weren t able to work on it m, they still recommended me to another company who will take care of me and I m forever grateful. If you have any issues with your car I would highly recommend going to cargo transmission. I promise you, you will never be disappointed! Thank you cargo transmission for taking care my car. For anyone looking for an honest, helpful, and caring company cargo transmission is your place! They got me a diagnosis the day I called and explained what they found. They went over all my options with me from least expensive to most. As a young women, it s hard to find a place that doesn t try to scam you, but Cargo was up front and did a transmission swap in a timely manner. I ve had many car issues since moving to jax and have tried MANY mechanics with little luck. This is the first time I walked away from ashop feeling relief and confidence in my car. If you suspect anything is wrong with your transmission, call John, the manager, and he will take care of you like family. Amazing customer service and company! 100/10 :)Service: Transmission

I have used this shop for over 30 years and Gary still treats me like a good friend. He is honest and friendly. He also has better pricing than other known shops as I have priced around before and always come back to Cargo. Thanks again for doing my transmission swap.. you saved me a lot of money! Gary himself is very personable and gives superb customer service. I went in some what apprehensive but Gary was very accommodating and took his time and explained what the problem was. He even gave me a visual. Then he presented me with several options which also I appreciated. Then he allowed me to make my own choice. His staff was just as helpful and accommodating. They were very timely with there repair and even went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. The pricing was more than fair and I m very happy with my experience. I recommend this Business and Gary. I give them a 5 plus Stars and I hope you will give them the opportunity to service you auto as well.Services: Transmission, Oil change

I have been going to Cargo for years. First for a transmission in my husband's car. We had such a good experience that we started bringing our cars for service. I have had my car, my kid's cars and my husband's car serviced here. I haven t had to use Cargo in the last few years, newer cars purchased but as soon as I had an issue with my brake lights. My husband said we should just take it to Cargo. I love having a go to mechanic shop that I trust to work on my car. I love cargo transmission!! I have been going to this shop for many, many,many, years. They do way more than just Transmissions. I have taken my truck there for something as simple as an oil change or a tire rotation, as well as a full front end replacement( rack and pinion, control arms, ball joints, etc). They literally can do just about anything. This past Monday my truck wouldn't start I called him up on the phone, and just by listening through the phone he said sounds like fuel pump, just tap the gas tank a little then start it up. I honestly couldn't believe it worked but it did, it started right up, i headed to the shop to say thank you and unfortunately that's when the truck took its last breath, it needed a fuel pump. This was on a Monday they were real busy for the week but my truck was finished by Wednesday. And when i got my bill it was a couple hundred dollars cheaper than I thought it would be. These guys are very friendly, knowledgeable and honest. They treat you like you are family. I would recommend cargo transmission to anyone and everyone. Which I have done over the years. I love Gary and John for always taking such good care of me.

Thank you so much Mr. Gary for taking the time out to not only look over my car and helping solve the problems but being a educator on my many questions about the transmission and more. The shop you and Mr John runs is truly wholesome and respectful and very optional with my wants and needs of being about to afford the repair that are needed. The Communication was just over the top this now will hopefully be my forever mechanic place. I wouldn t dare go back to a dealership without coming to you guys first.

I brought my car in for Gary to look at and give me his advice on what to do with the transmission. Really honest man that cares about his work and not the money. Will definitely return here for any needed work as I don t trust and am hesitant to bring my car to franchise places that will scam you as much as they can.

Great work! They have been on Arlington for years. Fried the clutch in my wrangler and the cargo team had me back up and running even pointed things out underneath previous owners of the vehicle had neglected.

I've been having transmission problems for the past year and every store that I went to gave me an astronomical price just for a transmission fluid top up. Then I was told about Cargo and the moment I stepped into Gary's shop I knew by the professionalism and "let's get to work" attitude this was going to be my store.
