Took my L322 in to replace the rear diff motor. James does great work and took the time to troubleshoot with me and made sure I was comfortable with everything and even hooked me up when I had to bring it back to check something. I would definitely bring my vehicle back for additional service.

Had my vehicle for 3 years before I finally had it repossessed because he never fixed it. He had it so long, the tires started rotting and the car was just sitting with never being ran,exacerbating whatever issues it had when I first brought it to British 4X4. Every time I asked for an update, more excuses and the same spiel on how he didn t want to spend $700 on the fuses needed to fix my 2012 LR4. If I ever get a rover again, I will not bring it back here.

I highly recommend this place. Great customer service. My Range Rover was hit and leaking fluid. They took the time to try and figure out my issue on the spot. Explained what he would have to do to fix it. I set up an appointment for a couple days later. They had me in and out in no time. Now my car is as good as new. Great service! James is a very knowledgeable person! He knows everything about landrover, he can point out the problem right away you started talking about it, very easy communication! Just swapped a transfer case, very well done!

James was so helpful and honest with what was going on with my car. It was timely and detailed oriented. I'm very grateful to people and businesses like James and British 4x4 for always and in all ways taking pride in their work. It has for sure made us a repeat customer for both our cars. I was so fearful I was going to have to just buy a new car......after his inspection and diagnosis it was not completely a lost cause. James was a huge help to me when I badly needed tail lights hooked up to my new camper. Land Rover and Camping World were unwilling/unable to do the work, so I contacted British 4 x 4 as a last resort. The job was expertly and reasonably performed with little notice so I could safely continue my journey home to South Florida.

This was my first time coming to British 4 X 4 and James is my new Range Rover man from now on!! I stopped in to get a new battery before my road trip and before I could even read my emails while waiting in his office, the battery was in and DONE!! Such a nice person and super knowledgable about everything LAND ROVER!! Will definitely be back here for service!

I cannot say enough about James. What a great guy. I drove in from Georgia at the recommendation of a friend. He had my land rover in and out in no time. As a single female I always worry about being taken advantage of...NOT the case at all here. Highly recommend!

Haven t personally used them for repair services but called for an on-sight inspection (I m out of state and looking at a truck for sale in the Jacksonville area) and I believe it was James I spoke with and he couldn t have been nicer and more helpful. Spent a ton of time on the phone with me going through pictures and videos from a Craigslist ad identifying issues with the vehicle and potential fixes (most of which are body work which he doesn t even do). Truly a gentleman and stand up guy. If I end up purchasing the truck I will absolutely have him take a look at the truck and do any of the necessary work before I ship it up to NY.

I called to have my brake pads replaced. I was greeted after asking how are you with busy response. Through further conversation it was apparent he had zero interest being on the phone with me or our business.Very rude.

I just bought my Defender 110 and after checking the oil, I noticed that the whole air filter assembly was missing and the engine was taking in unfiltered air. I called James that afternoon and he told me to swing by the next morning. I showed up later than discussed and James stopped everything for me and made me feel like I was his only customer. He ended up sourcing some parts out of his garage and also drove down to the auto parts store for a hose, all while I waited. After getting everything completed he sent me on my way. I asked about the bill and he said "don't worry about it". As far as I'm concerned, James will have all my business.Bravo to customer service that exceeded expectations!

Can t recommend this place enough.Top service.They know what they re doing.And honest prices.One time I got quoted $450 for something at one place and it was below $150 at British 4x4.

I found this shop after a disappointing experience with the Jacksonville Land Rover dealership. Dealer told me that it would take between 8-10 days to diagnose and repair my Discovery 2 (which I told them likely needed a new starter).I paid a tow truck to move my immobilized vehicle to British 4x4, about 4 miles away. Wow, am I happy I did that. My broken, out-of-state truck went directly onto the lift and was fixed in less than 2 hours (it did in fact need a new starter).These guys are top notch mechanics, fountains of Rover knowledge, and all around good dudes. I can't recommend them highly enough.

James is a Land Rover expert and a true problem solver. The real bonus is honesty at this shop where you ONLY PAY for what you need and get. Been a customer here since 2006 if that says anything!

Incredible experience. It was my first visit and this guy is a master mechanic who fixed my issue so fast it was mind blowing. James is a man of integrity and is above reproach. Three times my Range Rover has been repaired by James, never any issues. British 4x4 is the only place to go!

I wish I could upload a photo.Invoice states $980 for-alternator $647 for alternator-beltAlternator was never changed.Same parts sticker on the side and the biggest sign was that the alt is still corrodedWill never go here and I recommended people make sure the work is getting done and not just brushed under the rug.I doubt anything will be done about this from him but we will see his integrity and character in the days to come.
