Horrible at its finest!!! I ve been going to brakes 4 less for years in the past always received great service. My normal location was the lem turner where Dave is manager cool guy.recently I called in a set an appointment at the Blanding blvd location in regards to my rotors scrubbing metal to metal. Once my car was looked at I was advised to I needed wayyyy more than i originally called in about. My original quote was 229.00 only for rear rotors an pads. The technician advised me that my rotors needed to be replaced wit pads also sensor,brake caliper&abs pump bill shot too $1,286.00. Was told they had to order my parts an it was coming from out of state would take a week. Once part got there technicians mounted parts on to my car an sent me a text saying car is ready for pick up.Once I got to my car I noticed all my lights were on the lights on the dashboard. One read abs the other light said Brake. I called brakes 4 less an advised them of this an they told me everything was done correctly. When I asked well why are all my lights on they instructed me they do not have the machine to program the parts they installed. I reach out to the corporate an share my concern. Orginally they offered to pay Mercedes to program my car. Saturday 4/13 about 2:30 in the afternoon my brakes went completely out on Cassat avenue causing me to swerve an think quickly to use my emergency brakes .called Mercedes Benz back of orange park and spoke with a service advisor an he instructed me that brakes 4 less mounted electronic modules to my car without the machine to program these aftermarket parts causing my brake system not to work at all just a shiny part mounted on the advisor commented.out of frustration I called their corporate office back talked to the same claims representative an was told that the district manager is overwhelmed with this situation.also the technicians should of never worked on the abs pump they would not compensate me or fix my car or pay for the reset anymore but they are willing to give me a refund if I go to another brake company an give them their abs pump back an parts. Was told they still have my abs pump on site but my rotors pads an caliper they already scrapped

This place is great. Customer service is amazing . They did my gf front and back brakes for 200 dollars. Other places are $230 just for the front and take 6 hours, brakes for less took an hour max.

Thank you James for your honesty. Thought I needed front brakes turns out dealer installed wrong, I only needed back. Most shops would have charged for all 4 sooo Thank You from the bottom of my heart, you made my day! Ladies if you need brakes this shop won't take advantage!

OMG... I JUST HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER... I HAD AN APPOINTMENT AT 3.. I ARRIVED A COUPLE OF MINUTES LATE... BUT NEEDLESS TO TO SAY I WAS IN AND OUT WITHIN 30 MINUTES... James, omg... He was pleasant n very helpful... Anytime u need brakes done I strongly recommend coming here... It was the best experience. THANKS James... And Brakes 4 less for taking care of me!

I had a brake issue that could not be resolved. After 2 sets of brakes and rotors failed, I called James at Brakes for Less and explained what was going on. He was very polite and patient while speaking with me, so I made an appointment. It didn't take long, and they were able to find the problem. I was so relieved! Thank you to James and your staff!

Girl just come get your breaks done here lol Dugan and crew were very informative and very helpful. I was able to get a new wheel lock thanks to his help. (ex bf backyard mechanic did brakes wrong) Made the process very easy as I came in a nervous reck because the noise had been happening since my ex did them. Overall great service took care of my brake problem and in a very timely manner. I recommend them for all my friends.

I showed up to my appointment late and freaking out. I thought there was no way I could still get my brakes done. James came out and said he could absolutely still help me out! So glad for James and crew.

Want to give a huge shout out to James over here a breaks for less! Service quality was great and he is very easy to work with if you need your breaks taken care of make sure you go to the Jacksonville location.

They advertise $239 for brakes , i made an appointment, went in they took my car apart then told me it would be $800!! Total bait &switch !! Avoid them

Great experience, great service, great people.There's a stigma behind all car service stores, "they're looking to up sell you with cheap parts." However, this location was adamant to show that was not the case.I called in for an estimate, was given a great price and a next day appointment. Though, later on the price was wrong, the representative over the phone was very helpful and kind. Showing up for my appointment, a customer before me was dealing with the desk associate. Unfortunately, the customer before me was unhappy with his service. However, James handled his concerns extremely well. Even when the customer was getting unprofessional, James held his composure and still showed compassion. Once James found that the previous price given was wrong and I wasn't expecting something so high, he did his best to explain every line item and give me the best price.This experience was a great reminder of how human we all are, and how easy it is to make up for small mistakes. Would recommend this place to anyone.

I noticed my brakes were scrubbing. Called Brakes-4-Less 2103 Blanding Blvd, spoke with the manager James. After his assessment, I'm driving safe again with new rotors, pads and shoes.Reasonable, knowledgeable and fair. Thanks James and TeamServices: Brakes, Brake service & repair

These guys were very accommodating. Only to turn out to not know what they were doing.The day after i received service to my vehical from them my tires started making noise. I took my car back and they were certain that it was not them...so i took my car to Midas to find out they left parts off of my car causing my rotors to go bad. I then called the manager to tell him my findings and to let them know that it was in fact something that they did. The manager proceeded to argue with me and hung up in my face.Service: Brakes

I don t know much of anything about breaks or cars in general and I am not interested in learning or knowing anything about it (I m only in a driving city for a small bit of grad school). One day I started hearing a grinding sound when I stopped and booked an appointment immediately. I got in next day at 9am. I love that I didn t have to get a long winded explanation about what was wrong, and the whole pricing breakdown. If you like that type of banter, I m sure they will provide it and do a great job of explaining, but the fact that I was given the option of not, was fantastic. It s been a few weeks and everything works fine. It took under 2 hours and less than $1,200 for everything and no more grinding sounds emitting from my car.

Jason was the best. The service was EXACTLY what was promised. No hidden costs, no one trying to talk me into more than what was actually needed. A few options were offered and all were well explained. LOVED my service. Will return and share experience with friends and family.

He was honest about the time it would take to get done; and with early release from school it would not work out, so we scheduled a different day that worked out better. My dealership told me I needed a $300 rear break job and a $200 fluid replacement for my breaks. It didn t sound right so I took it to Brakes for Less for a second opinion and I m so glad I did. They took me back to look at my break pads and they were totally fine still. He said I had another 20,000k left on them. The only thing they recommend was a fluid flush which cost $77. So glad I went to them. Definitely have a lot of integrity! I will be back!Service: Brake service & repair

Save your money and don't use this business . After being only the 2nd person in the store for 3.5 hr for service (basic 4 wheel brake job on a newer vehicle) and being charged over 450$ just for the technician to have clearly driven my car like an angry child and I had stuff flung all around from where it was. Most of all...my brakes are almost no better than they were before and have a worse sound.Services: Brakes, Brake service & repair

The worst place ever to get your brakes done poor customer service. Needed brakes done again with in 7 months and when went back to get brakes done under warranty brakes was not done correctly squeaking and pads scrubbing. JAMES the manager at Blanding and San Juan location but the wrong brakes on my vehicle had to go back 7 times because of loud squeaking a month later . Then he lied a said he as not able to do back brakes because of am electrical issue but a different location with brakes for less advise they do service front and rear . I will not recommend this is the worst company regret every going there now i have to take my car to the dealership and pay more money . They did not give me a refund or did not fixed the issue was advise corporate office was reviewing the case and have not heard and thing from them . If you have a luxury vehicle would not recommend this company .Service: Brake service & repair

I was told by the dealership that I needed brakes and I came here for an additional quote. I would like to give a special thanks to James. James advised me that at this time my brakes are fine.I would eventually need new pads but I can wait to have those replace. Thank you for your honesty on my diagnosis. I will see you guys next month :o)
