Easily the best experience I've ever had with a repair shop. Was told my car had a transmission issue. Took it to Bill's and he told me that it was just the axel. He could've taken me for thousands of dollars. But he didn't and had me on my way in two days time. Down to earth, reasonably priced and fun guy to talk to. He definitely has earned life long customers from our family.

This is my first time using this establishment. My vehicle is a 2006 Honda Element with a bad transmission. Cody is the gentleman I spoke with the most.What a wonderful experience doing business with Cody & his Dad, Bill.They are honest, very experienced at what they do and Cody is very customer oriented. No matter how many times I called to get the status, he was always so nice & very helpful.

I relocated recently from South Florida and was terrified about finding a new mechanic to work our on 1993 Chevy Truck. Bill & Cody were phenomenal! Honest, forthright, quick, reasonably priced - I simply can't rave enough about their services. We've taken our truck to approximately 5 different mechanics over the past few years and no one could figure out what was wrong with it, but Bill knew exactly what needed to be done and has gotten it running like new! We were told by a dealership that our car with 78k miles had transmission problems tat could be cured with a $3,800.00 overhaul. BILLS serviced the transmission for about a tenth of that amount and it's working fine. I highly recommend this honest shop.

Bill does good honest work! Rebuilt my transmission in my truck and it has been operating better than new ever since! More than 4 people in the family have all went to him and they are all satisfied with the transmission work he has done. He's great with the modern day chevrolet transmissions and old hot rods.

Bill s transmission was a great experience. Not only did he fix my fianc� s car, he was able to place us in contact w/ a towing service and make sure we were well taken car. He even told us to stop back by after a few weeks to follow up on our new transmission. 10/10 recommend !

I was turned down by multiple shops for wanting to install a USED transmission. Well for whatever reason Toyota said this particular transmission was made for part of a year and is now discontinued. No remanufactured shops carried one either. I found a used transmission from nevada and called Bill and let him know the details. He said bring it on in. After the transmission arrived they had it installed by the next day. He originally quoted a week wait but they found an opportunity and got it taken care of. I would definitely recommend them for service.Service: Transmission

Awesome shop!! Took my 1985 c10 in for adjustment, and boy!!! I ve never experienced a ride like that in that truck before bringing it to these guys. They made it shift out and go like it came off the lot in 85! They really know there stuff! Highly recommend!!!!

Bill is an incredibly knowledgable man. He is straightforward, honest, and upfront with his repair efforts.I brought my 06 Ford Explorer XLT after it s transmission failed and he worked tirelessly until he got it running correctly again. There were many unforeseen hiccups that came up throughout the repair that were not his fault, but due to the car s age. Regardless, he informed me of all these roadblocks along the way and even brought me to the back of the shop to show me hands-on what problems we were running into. He always informed me of what options we had, what room we had to work with, and tried to save me as much money as possible.After returning home from an 8-month deployment, my transmission had a new fault after not driving the car for 8 months. I called Bill and he immediately got to work. He did not charge me for any of the follow-on parts and new work that was needed. He is a good guy who supports our military and even honored a discount on my bill. Bill's Transmission & Gears is a wonder Auto Shop please get your car fixed there. I had to have 2 wheel hub bearings and Mr. Bill fix my car he has Great prices and great customer service it's not about the money to him it's about great service and making sure the customer is happy when you leave his Sop and Ladies take your care to Bill's he will give you the best price to fix your without price gouging you to death you need a really good Auto Mechanic ok so see Bill's Transmission & Gears good service that will keep you coming back as a loyal customer because he is best Auto Repair Shop in town I give you 5 Stars Thank you so much, Mr. BillService: Transmission

So I manage the convenient store (Circle K) right next door to Bill's shop, had never met any of these guys and like most single women, have had questionable dealings with auto-shops and mechanics in the past. That being said, these guys are top-notch. Super knowledgeable and really sweet, and the best part is they will not BS you. After almost a year in business next to these guys they have helped me more than once! Great deal on a tow and do not lie about the repairs you need, will not try to take advantage/ over charge just because your car is broke down. They really go out of their way to provide great service/work. They have saved me from spending tons of money at other shops and I really can't say enough good things about Mr Bill (owner) and the rest of the guys that work there! (Billy, Cody, Josh) sorry if I'm forgetting anyone. Great job guys, I recommend y'all to everyone! :)

I was in a tough spot when my work truck was having transmission issues. New to FL was not sure where to take it and no one asked knew someone to refer. Did not want a big name brand shop and called Bill and said he would give free estimate. Had it towed there and within a week he told me issue and repaired main issue and another small one I knew was acting up. He was honest and did not try and just get me a new transmission, back on the road for about $700 replacing 2 wiring harnesses on transmission and a throttle sensor for me. Very pleased with work and price!!! Super nice guy!Service: Transmission

Went to my regular mechanic. He found an issue he could not repair so referred me Bill's Transmission & Gears. The guys there are friendly and knowledgeable. They replaced my CV axle, fan clutch, and found an issue with one of the shocks and addressed that also. The price was very reasonable and work was completed in a timely manner. My car hasn't ran this smoothly in a long time. I would defiantly recommend them and their services. Thanks Bill and Bill Jr.

We brought our 2002 Chevy Silverado to Bill because he was recommended by another garage that didn't work on transmissions. We found them to be straight up from the beginning. They are very busy so it took them a little longer than we expected to rebuild our transmission. They are not the cheapest. We called around and everyone gave us a lower quote but we wanted the job done well so we stayed with Bill. We have no regrets, Bill did a great job on our truck it drives better than ever and even gave us a discount off the price. I would recommend and would use them again.

I went to Bill the owner with my 2012 Ram 1500 due to 5 in 6 gear throwing a code and found out transmission was no good. He told me the results less then two days and it was rebuilt lead then a week. There was one issue with reverse a week later and Bill asked me to drop it off soon as possible. Less then a week I was back in my truck. It was honestly driving better then it was new from the car dealership. Also I must say this is a the guy to go to for reliable professional service even for performance builds like mine. Thanks for the assume service guys.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

Stop looking for where to take your car and just CHOOSE here. That was me before I decided to stop here. I m super happy with my decision. The guys here are knowledgeable and very nice. I had no idea what was happening to my baby (car) and no one I knew had equipment to help. They explained the problem and fixed it within a day. It was wayyyy cheaper than I was expecting and completely affordable for a broke college kid. It s been a week and my car is still running incredibly better than before I came to them. I will definitely be going here again. JUST. GO. HERE.

Bills transmission did another great job installing a valair dual disk clutch in my Dodge 3500 G56 transmission, the same day! He also charged me for a regular clutch job when this job is harder to do. He also built a bulletproof 700r4 for my 1985 dually years ago. I would recommended this shop to anyone!

I own a ford and when I broke down on the side of the road I had it towed to a for dealership. After the ford mechanic changed his mind 3 times within 5 minutes of talking to him what was wrong with my car and trying to get me to order parts for a transmission that I didn t have on my car. I decided to take it here and they knew exactly what transmission I had and diagnosed the problem fast and fixed it. I highly recommend taking your vehicle here for transmission issues. I will not take any of my vehicles other than here

I'm very glad that I found Bill's Transmissions. My transmission was slipping and would sometimes pop out of gear while driving. After 3 unsuccessful attempts at repair at the Ford dealership, I was told that I needed a new transmission which was going to cost $4500. I took my SUV to Bill's for a second opinion. It turns out that the clip which connects the shifter cable to the shifter was cracked. Bill was able to fix my transmission for under $200. In the auto repair industry it seems like everyone is trying to upsell or flat out do unnecessary work. This is not the case at Bill's. He is honest, and he doesn't try to take advantage of anyone. I highly recommend Bill's Transmissions.

The bottom line is, they didnt knee jerk tell me I had to replace my transmission and I saved over $800. This is why I give them 4 stars and will go back, only this time request the written quote. Mixed emotions... From an initial "happy-happy joy-joy" to "what the heck?" I took my 1991 Ford F-150 to another shop, they recommended replacing the transmission for approximately $1,300. I echo some of the other stories I have seen on Google Reviews. They replaced an electronic piece and coolant hose for a total of $74 in parts. They charged me $149 for a transmission service plus two hours labor which totalled $360 in labor... My issue is really with the "verbal quote" which was that it was going to be approximately $200, it ended up over double at $408 after a 10% military discount. Their is a continuing story of 90% labor and 10% parts repair cost breakdown...

We brought our van to Bill's and were pleasantly surprised that they did the work for less than they quoted. That was over five years ago and the transmission is still running strong.These guys are not just good but they are also honest.

Bill is so good. I brought in my car, thinking the transmission was bad, even agreed to the fee to remove the transmission. Bill checked the rest of the car before touching the transmission, found the problems and fixed them; he saved me a ton, now my car is perfect.
