I made an appointment for new tires on a Wednesday night, for Friday. Kelsey responded first thing Thursday morning, and got everything set (including valet pickup) and then actually arrived EARLY Friday morning. I was notified of everything during the inspection process via text and email, and had my truck back by 3pm, never having to leave my house.Buying tires is never fun, but Big Chief makes the experience seamless with super friendly staff and amazing service and support. They made me feel like I was their only customer. Absolutely recommend 100%, I ll be a customer for life. This is how service used to be, and how it should still be.

What a refreshing experience to be on the receiving end of great customer service which for the most part is non existent in our country anymore. From the young lady on the phone (I believe her name was Mia) to Campbell, the service technician that assisted me.My appointment started on time and Campbell was helpful, informative and a pleasure to work with.While I waited in the lobby I noticed there was enough employees that addressed each customer as they entered.Great experience and a big thank you to Campbell. I ll definitely be back BCT Phillips.

I went there for the first time by the recommendation by my boss, I have had so many problems by this car from a dealership in Jacksonville. After thousands of dollars to fix this engine, I went to Big Chief for a front end alignment, and now an oil change. I Trust Them!!

It seems like the folks at the car repair shop were pretty honest with me and got my car fixed quickly, albeit a little expensive. But honesty is essential, especially regarding an old car that needs fixing. Sometimes, you have to accept the expenses. However, I am considering trading it in to avoid further headaches. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with the service I received at the repair shop, as they clarified all my questions.

Big chief got our Motorhome in for alignment right when scheduled and we were on our way within 30 minutes. All staff was friendly and technician was highly skilled. Great experience.

Had been to two other places to get my frontend aligned on my 31foot RV. No one could get it aligned properly. Chris and Ryan were awesome. Their whole staff are professionals. Will not go anywhere else for tires, alignments, oil changes and etc...

From a Commerical trucking standpoint big chief is the one stop shop! With super competitive pricing and a family atmosphere I m rating it five stars. I purchase all my tires, brakes and get myfluid maintenance with them specifically when in town.

I've been going to Big Chief for 30 years buying tires when Steve and Dave were there on Phillips highway. Big Chief tire is still family owned and recently I had the opportunity to speak to one of the family members about a concern on one of my tires. After a nice discussion he made it a point to have the general manager personally take a look at the tires. They were able to correct the situation and provide me with a better solution than the original purchase. I appreciate them taking the time to listen to my concerns. As a good customer I want to always give honest feedback, and they were humble enough to receive it. I highly recommend going to Big Chief for all your tires and tell them Hank sent you.

My name is Karen Gibson weeks ago my tire was going flat I came by your Phillips Highway location. A young man with a brace on his leg came out right after he had finished putting air in some other car's Tire. He put air in mine very patiently and very compassionately. And he noticed that there was a nail in my tire he sprayed some water on it to make sure how deep it was and then he pulled the nail out. This cost me a whole brand new tire because he was able to get the nail out before it went too deep in my tire. I don't remember the gentleman's name but even with a brace on his leg he got down on the ground to make sure my tires were okay and then I wasn't losing air or I have a flat down the street. He said he had just come back to work after surgery on his knee but he was so pleasant to work with please let the management know I've been trying to remember to do this for the last couple weeks

Bottom Line Up Front: Beware if you have a vehicle with a manual transmission and transfer case.I had a horrible experience taking my truck to the Phillips Highway Big Chief Tire shop. I took my Dodge Ram 3500 there for a front end alignment. The tech who test drove my truck knocked the transfer case out of gear out in the middle of Phillips Highway and couldn't get it back to the shop. I had to walk out in the middle of Phillips Highway and tell him and the manager how to put it in gear again. Now my truck with manual transmission and transfer case that I just had rebuilt and was shifting perfectly before I took it there shifts hard. The manager can't think any reason how that could possibly happen from someone driving it who who doesn't know how to shift gears.Now I have to replace a clutch that's less than a year old and my front is still not aligned. I don't have time to take it back to them and risk having more problems. I won't be letting Big Chief touch my truck again.Word to the wise, take your vehicle with manual transmission and transfer case elsewhere.

This place was amazing. They got my tires I requested for in less than 24 hours, then got me out within 30 minutes after coming in as a walk in. I will definitely be bringing my car here going forward. Thank you all at Big Chief

I would give them 10 stars if I could!! Very professional and courteous staff, clean office, kept me informed with text messages. I was stuck with a screw in my tire 45 miles from home and they worked me in to the schedule and got me back on the road in under two hours. They also provided me with good info as to the wear on my tires, very honest assessment and did not try to upsell unnecessary service. Finally, as a women, I often struggle with auto shops treating me like a dumb female . None of that there. Just professional, straightforward service and advice. Thanks so much.

While riding a rental car from out of the State I received a notification that my tire pressure had decreased to 17 psi. I filled the tire up to 40 psi, but the next day it was back to 17 psi. At this point I assumed it was possibly a nail in the tire. Close to the hotel we were staying, I noticed the sign for Big Chief Tire-Southside. My tire was fixed in about 30 minutes and the service technician also showed me the nail. They are professional, will fix your problem quickly and will treat you with respect. I highly recommend this company.

My car's driver side rear tire got a nail on my way home to Orange Park. I was able to have the car serviced with a new tire before the shop closed at 530pm. Thank Big Chief for your assistance.

Can t complain! I had to take my work truck in and have some tires fixed and other then the fact it took a while ( but only because they was slammed with customers) the staff was very friendly and professional and they did a great job! Griffin Service will definitely be using them again.

I have used Big Cief on several occasions over the past few years for work on my audi, ford and jeep. Every time the service has been thorough, well explained and documented. I had walked in on a rainy day. The waiting area was packed and my issue was not urgent. The staff is very good about estimating the workload and advised I make an appointment for the next day. That saved me the frustration and wait.At my appointment time the car was serviced quickly and efficiently with text updates on progress. It was efficiently done and a pleasant experience

I had a slow leak in a tire on a 2018 GMC terrain. I thought while I had it in the shop, I would go ahead and have the tires rotated. The people at Big Chief were super super nice, I told him what I needed and they gave me a price which was reasonable. After waiting for a while, not an extraordinarily long amount of time but they were busy, they came back and said they had repaired the leak in the tire, which they do it the right way. They actually remove the tire and patch it from the inside which is way way better for the tire itself than having a plug shoved into the through the tread. They said that upon inspection of my tires that the treadwear was so even that they really did not need to be rotated at this time and did not charge me for that. In this day and age of companies that are doing anything to try to take your money, I was very impressed that they were honest and I will definitely steer as much business towards them as I possibly can.

Took my truck in for wheel balance and alignment. First they tell me one of my tires isn't balancing and to call and get a new tire. I bring them the new tire after replacing "defective tire". They can't get it balanced. I bring it back again and wait for a third day of my time,only for them to tell me they couldn't get it because their machine wasn't working right and to come back. Alignment wasn't good and needed to get one done at another shop and had it corrected. Wasted my time and money far too long with this place,and will never return. Please take your vehicles elsewhere,it will save you time,money,and a headache.

All appointments were taken and they told me to still come on over! I was there within an hour andthey replaced all 4 tires in an hour at a Very Reasonable Price that I could Afford!!They Are Amazing!! I feel Very Safe Now!!

NEVER AGAIN!Called Big Chief on Phillips Hwy. spoke with Campbell. Told him my rear brake wear indicator was making noise and I needed a rear brake job. He quoted me a ball park price to replace pads and resurface rotors.I get there and the girl behind the counter says if your car is making noise we charge 150 dollars to drive the car and tell you what is wrong with it. I said ok, and when I pay to have my brakes done that charge goes away right? No, that is in addition to the charge for the brake job!After I stopped laughing, I thanked her and walked right out the door. I will NEVER return.
