Thomas and Derrick (owners) always take great care of my car. The shop and the mechanics have a lot of knowledge about all vehicles. They even restored my headlights lol just because...I love these guys!!!!

I took my truck to BAC for a number of things. They replaced the shocks, and tires along with several other suspension related items. They also changed my oil, windshield wipers and some radiator hoses. They also applied rainex to my windows. I couldnt be more pleased with all the work they did. If I could give 0 stars I would. I come in not knowing what the issue is, my car is wobbly when driving. They convinced me to replace a $2,500 piece, it should fix the issue. Ok they do that and I pay. Right after I come back 2 minutes later and say it s still wobbly. Within 5 minutes they say it s a wheel. So you re telling me I payed $2.5k for you not to fix the right thing and now I have to pay $400 for a tire. So shady to take advantage of people like this. Never coming back!!

If you want your car work done right the first time, than Bayard Auto is definitely the place to go. I have never had a problem with callbacks and I usually have my car back within a day. Not to mention excellent customer service.

Very knowledgeable. Solved a sagging rear suspension on a BMW 7-Series. Saved me money compared to other repair shops, got me in and out in 2 days total! Such a great job, I'm back now to get a separate issue resolved!

Derek provided a detailed estimate at a fair price. He was able to diagnose a problem we had that other mechanics blamed on our tires (and it wasn't the tires). I highly recommend them and will definitely use them for future repairs.

Thomas at Bayard has gone above and beyond to help us. We had a flat tire on I95. We got off the nearest exit and called Bayard. The nicest guy answered the phone and came to our rescue at a gas station. Not only did they have the uncommonly stocked tire he came to us and saved the day all with a smile. Best customer service ever. I hope Thomas family reads this review to know what an awesome person we think he is! Thank you Bayard and if I could give them 10 stars instead of 5 I certainly would!!

I have used them for repairs on a Honda Pilot as well as a diagnose a check-engine light on Lexus ES 350.They provide an honest diagnostic and quality repairs for a fair price. I didn't get jerked around about check engine light like I had at other places. Turned out to be something they could reset and not some $740 part like another place stated.Highly recommend them just for the honesty. Prices are also fair. Good recommendation and price on set of 4 tires for the Lexus.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Amazing customer service every time. They fix my car right the first time! Are always willing to help their customers with diagnostics and more. Took one of my cars to a shop (under warranty) and it screwed all the work up. Bayard was able to fix it all the right way! I am a devoted customer now and will never take my cars and my business anywhere else. Thanks!

My family recently moved to Jacksonville driving a 2009 Ford Expedition. The AC stopped working and you can imagine the misery we were going through being new to the sunshine state . I already knew that taking it to the dealership would be extremely expensive so I googled Auto Repair Shops and I was so fortunate to find Bayard Auto Repair. In less than 24 hours, this professional team repaired my AC system at a very reasonable cost with a guarantee? Truly, my family was at their mercy but they did NOT take advantage of our situation instead they got us back on the road with AC working like brand new. And did I say, they replaced with Ford parts? Well, all I can say is that I am now a loyal Bayard Auto Customer for ALL my vehicle repair needs! Thank you Bayard staff, you guys are the Best!!Service: A/C installation & repair

Local dealer said we needed two new CV axles for our 2016 Honda Civic after taking it in for a routine oil change and warranty work on A/C. Their price quote was crazy high and said they would would need to order the parts might take a couple days. In sticker shock, we found Bayard Auto Center to investigate options. A quick call and they gave us a fair ballpark quote on the work. We scheduled the drop off for a 9:00am. They completed the work and had our Honda back by 1:30pm. Price was nearly half what the dealer quoted. Asked B.A.C. if they worked on TDi VW s and did oil changes. They said yes! We ll definitely be back for all of our vehicles.

Great and honest family owned auto center! Quick turnaround time and service with a smile. They get the job done right the first time and save me time and money vs going to the Mercedes dealer. This is the only place I take my GL! The staff and owner Derek are very friendly and always deliver excellent customer service!

Jeep had a water flushing sound and kept overheating. Another repair place tried to fix the problem unsuccessfully, but this place was confident "not rocket science" that they knew what to do. So they changed out the thermostat housing again (there's was better), flushed cooling system (again, already on previous invoice that I shared), and changed out the radiator and hoses.After the very expensive repair charges... that didn't work, so I returned. This time they wanted to charge me again (3 times as much) because they now know what's causing the problems, and I told them that they failed me by not knowing what to do the 1st time and didn't trust their new repair proposal anyway. These businesses shouldn't take on projects if they don't know how to properly diagnose and should refund when they fail you.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto A/C replacement

Everyone at this business was very polite. Thomas was the one I spoke to mostly about my truck issues. I dropped it off first thing in the morning and he called me back within half an hour to tell me what was wrong and the next step. By 12 it was ready to go and working like new again! Very appreciative of this team. They are pros for sure.

This shop is awesome. They've worked on several vehicles in our fleet. Better than a dealership on their WORST day. Fair prices, excellent service with integrity. Glad to find a shop I can trust.

I went in to see Derek and Thomas with what I thought were significant radiator issues. Within just a few minutes of diagnosing, they were able to find a blown gasket and reported a perfectly functioning radiator! My coolant leak is gone and their honesty was VERY refreshing. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my car back OR to recommend them to anyone in my circle. Thanks again Bayard Auto Center!Service: Engine repair

Interesting auto shop located around the corner from a convenience store. The place looks somewhat rough but the staff is good and friendly. They do quick work and for a fair price. Not much not to like if you can get past the exterior appearance.

They are absolutely the best mechanics! Very professional,knowledgeable and honest. I had problem with my Chevy Silverado. It constantly showed problem In EVAP system 455 code. Before I went here I went to other mechanic and he couldn t figure it out what was wrong. But when I got there I explained everything to Darek and they check everything very throughly and found the problem. They change the part that was causing it and my car runs perfect now.And their prices are very fair! And also the customer service is outstanding!Also location is very convenient! I really highly recommended them!

We had car issues traveling down I-95 and found this place by a map search and great Google reviews. They worked hard...and worked late beyond their regular closing time...to ensure we were able to get back on the road the same day. It was a fair price (especially since it was done in a hurry) and they were very kind to us. Would highly recommend.Service: Exhaust

100% amazing experience overall.& here is my story..One morning leaving my house to run an errand, I realized I needed some maintenance on my car (alignment and two front tires) and it needed to be addressed immediately. I work 70-80 hours a week and my vehicle is a necessity.Unfortunately, based on my schedule that day and upcoming week, I didn t have time to shop around, read reviews, compare pricing, understand services available..anything.En route to go run my errand, I did a basic google search for tires near me and Bayard Auto was .5 away. & I did something I have NEVER done..I decided to take my car to be serviced at a place I have never heard of by people I ve never met or worked with.I called and explained my situation, explained the urgency and advised that when I got there I wouldn t even have but 2 min to just drop my car off (since I ordered an Uber to meet me there & take me home to make an important conference call)They said no problem and appreciated the heads up.When I got there, I basically just handed them my keys, gave them my information, and left.At this point, I m thinking..I literally just handed my car to strangers and left; I have no idea how much money this is going to cost , no idea what I just got myself into.. but I had to get my car done and just trusted the universe send me to the right place.Bayard not only fixed my car that day, they provided the best customer service and professionalism I ve EVER experienced working with any type of mechanic. I was 100% humbled by my experience. I felt like i just threw my keys at them and said figure it out, and they DID. They were in contact with me letting me know what was needed and how much it would be and why it needs to be done , making sure I understood and felt comfortable with it. & it was so reasonably priced, UNBEATABLE, based on the experience.I m so thankful that because of the craziness in my life that day and how everything happened, I was able to find the mechanics of my dreams ( lol yes That last part was supposed to be silly) but in all seriousness, I don t think I ll ever go back to anyone else or recommend anyone else bc there s simply not a reason to.AND to top it off, a few days after I picked up my car , they texted me to follow up and make sure everything was still good.
