I would give April 10 stars if I could!! I was traveling through Jacksonville yesterday on our way home to NC and I was 2 hours into my trip when I stopped to get gas. I got stranded at the gas station next to Auto Zone with a dead battery. I had called another auto parts store asking for help and they wouldn't help me. My son and I started walking and realized we were next to the Auto Zone. I went in fully expecting to get turned down again. But I didn't!! April came over to the gas station, checked the battery and jumped it off!! She went ABOVE AND BEYOND to do that for me! I bought a new battery from her; she installed it and she had us back on the road in no time! I was feeling distraught when I went in, but April turned our bad day around!! She could have easier turned me away but instead she provided over the top customer service!! She was amazing!! I will never forget her kindness!!

I don t normally write reviews but I said to myself I will definitely give this shout out because OMG, I just drove to this AutoZone to change out my car battery that was dead. The best customer service I have received. Ms Green knows her stuff and helped changed my battery in less than 10sec. The ladies that works here are phenomenal. Thanks for the great service.

Had such a great experience here everyone was very professional Tron ,Rayne,and James B assisted me with my purchase with my Battery with no hesitation,everyone was very kind with a great sense of humor I will definitely refer to all friends and family.

Price a little high., But you always get what you need.. They don't call it convenience Four nothing. Very good customer service. You ask, they have a answer.. So stop by, they're waiting on you..

It is raining cats and dogs outside and now my car is smoking and overheating. I'm on 95 south just past Jacksonville. I'm 5 hours from home and my car is full of shopping. I pull off to a closed up restaurant parking lot in a questionable neighborhood. I call AAA they tell me 3 hours until they get to me. No way. A police officer came to offer assistance, it's a hose. So he said I'll escort you to the Auto Zone (1286 Dunn Ave Jacksonville Fl). I thanked him and walked in and was greeted by a happy smile Crystal. I explained my issue and she got her manager Chris. He came out, saw the problem, went back in, got the parts AND FIXED IT. I am so grateful because I'm a long way from home.I really appreciate the staff at this Auto Zone. You are AWESOME.GratefulHelen

I wish there were more humans like Crystal in this world. She gave me the best customer service experience I ve ever had in years. Very knowledgeable and sweet. A really bad day saved by an amazing lady. I will definitely be back to this store from now on.Crystal, you are the best!!!Arlene~

Travis Davis provided us the best service beyond the call of duty. He was veey knowledgeable and very helpful to get us back on the road on a Sunday when every auto service was closed. Truly a genuine person who likes to help people. Thank you so much Travis!!

I gave this AutoZone five stars because the night manager and an employee were excellent!However, a woman area supervisor was there to answer the phone when I called and she was a nightmare! I had 3% power left on my phone, a van which had not only a dead battery but an alternator which had quit working and this woman kept hanging up on me! If my only experience with this AutoZone had been her there would have been zero Stars! Thank God it wasn't and turned out to be a great experience All Things Considered

Poor customer service. Came in to get a thermostat and the employee came back with a more expensive model. When I told him that the internet showed a cheaper model, I was told the internet was not always correct. That's all he could say, no option or let me see if I can find it at another store. Definitely will not be going back there. Went to their competitor and had a much better experience.

I had a pleasant shopping experience at your location @ 1673 Dunn ave. Jax. fl.32218. It was this past Sunday when I got put of church I realized my car battery was failing, therefore I called your store and spoke with Courtney who was very knowledgeable and polite. I went into the store where Courtney greeted me and asked if she could help. She ended up going above and beyond when she installed the battery. She did a great job! I want to personally thank James at the Dunn Ave store location in Jacksonville Fl 32218. He helped me out by changing out my battery and when that didn t work. James let me leave my car over night. Today he helped with changing my starter when I couldn t break the bolts loose because of the battery acid corrosion. Not only did he help when he wasn t helping other customers but he made me laugh when I was aggravated. He really went out of his way . Mostly he was just nice, caring and helpful. You don t see this anymore in customer service. Thank you so much. I will definitely come back when I need things for my car..

Came in at a last resort to replace my coolant reservoir on my car. A lady by the name Tarah Souders helped me for the unfortunate hour I was stuck trying to replace my part. Extremely friendly, great customer service, and helped me any way possible in my time of need. Would definitely come here for anything car wise just for the way i was treated

We had a broken battery terminal. We were stranded and triple A said it would be almost two hours before they could arrive. It was 95 degrees with no shade. The employees were patient, extremely helpful in helping us choose the right parts and gave us paper towels to wipe the sweat away. Although the employees couldn't physically install it for us they told us exactly what to do. I don't want to break down ever again but if so I hope it's at AutoZone. Thanks again

Anyone that has owned a used car knows of auto parts and the quest to resolve the issues!AutoZone actually deserves six stars I've done business with numerous auto part retailers including discount aftermarket parts, junk yards and the ever presence of online andAutoZone beats them all!!!They clearly haven't forgotten the customer and literally do things that the others don't.For example they will cite with brand identity at least five different quotes for a part that they actually have in stock. In my case it was composite brakes for a Volkswagen Jetta GLI. Five different quotes.They do a great job with manufacturers rebates and will state this up front. Saving the customers money.The last thing is no hastle returns for items, components and parts that aren't needed. These cars are getting more and more complicated including numerous variables about things that can and should be done. Of course it all costs money. But it's my experience is that AutoZone is on the side of the driver, and lacking better words:Get er done!!!!!

Chris at the 1286 Dunn Ave location did an awesome job. I came in to get my battery tested due to slow crank times. He came out to test and right away noticed the problem. Corrosion on the post. He took out a wire brush to start scrapping it but wasn t getting it all off. He grabbed a battery cleaner and spent the next 5 minutes or so making it perfectly clean. Completed the testing and everything passed. Will be back when the battery will need replacing. Thank you!

I had a horrible experience at Autozone yesterday. I went to the location 1286 Dunn Ave, Jacksonville, Fl 32218, a little bit before 12pm to compare prices of the motor oils. When I walked into the store I looked around for a bit and then was asked If I needed assistance from a white older lady wearing glasses and I replied no. I continued to look around and she continued to follow me to every aisle I went to.. she then asked again if I needed anything not even 2 minutes later so I asked where the motor oils were just for her satisfaction and told her my car type. After I viewed and compared the prices of the oil I left out the store to my car to leave. As I was about to leave another customer got my attention to inform me that the same lady just came outside behind me and wrote down my tag number ! I entered back into the store and confronted her about writing down my tag. When I asked her why she responded very rudely why not I asked her did she write down anyone else s tag and she said yup everyone which was a lie. As I left out again as I was irritated and as I was leaving she begin to get loud. I already felt harassed from the time I entered into the store.. When is it ever ethical to write down someone s license plate?? And she couldn t even give a valid reason as to why. This was an awful experience I will not be returning to this location and I ll be sure to tell anyone who thinks it s a good idea not to go!!

Many times one takes time to speak on negative experiences. I want to give thanks to Crystal and Raphael at Autozone on 1286 Dunn Ave a phenomenal experience!!My truck battery was causing my truck to continously shut off. As I walked in Autozone I was greeted warmly and service immediately. They took the time to check my battery on their machine, offered me options on batteries available, and replaced my battery.Although my day has been rough, it was awesome to receive excellent customer service.After speaking with Raphael, I learned Crystal was the on-site manager. That said it all! Wherethere is a great leadership....the staff must follow.Autozone is the best auto parts store in Jacksonville, FL.Thank you all for your service
