For the past 25 years, I have had a private mechanic do all of my automobile servicing and repairs. I have never wanted to deal with a large shop, so it has been a blessing to have someone that I could rely on and trust for our car repair work. But, our mechanic recently retired, and I had to find a new mechanic. The folks at my car-parts store gave me the name and telephone number of Tate Peterson, and we are so grateful for this referral. To make a long story short, Tate is really a very experienced, honest, reliable, and skilled mechanic. He reminds us so much of our old mechanic. Although Tate has been a certified mechanic for many years, he went out on his own roughly a year ago, and is presently working out of his home in east Arlington, but is now actively looking for a place to set up shop. He has done several repairs for us, and we are very happy with his work, pricing, and honesty. He is very thorough, and routinely checks various parts etc on our car, and will recommend services that should be considered, but is not aggressive.I can confidently recommend Tate Peterson for your auto repair needs !!James Nipper

1000% the best mechanic in Jax! As a young woman, it is easy to take advantage of me with my lack of knowledge on cars. But Tate is friendly, fair, and knowledgeable. I have only had a positive experience and would highly recommend to anybody looking for work done on their car.

I highly recommend align it auto. I recently had my intake manifold replaced by Tate Peterson on my Mercury Grand marquis. Tate was an expert for my issue and advised me he is a Ford Lincoln Mercury technician. He was familiar with the problem and got right to it. He communicated the whole way and was fast and professional Thank you Tate.

Was referred to Tate Peterson by a girlfriend. Called and shared with him need an alternator. He went and ordered it and set up appointment for yesterday morning. Went to his home and kept the car running as it would need to be jumped. Left it with Tate. Meanwhile went to visit someone in his neighborhood. Tate called my husband and shared not your alternator but your battery. My battery was under warranty. Took it back to the place I purchased the battery and they replaced it and no charge.Tate was honest and he could have put the alternator in and would not solve the problem. He was honest and he was able to take back the alternator back with no charge to him.It was refreshing to meet an honest mechanic and I definitely will be going back to him.I put a great review on my Facebook page and on my neighborhood website.Service: Battery

I can't express how grateful I am for the incredible service I received from Align It Auto! When I found out my alternator was quickly going bad, I had to find a shop almost immediately. Most shops I attempted to call gave me outrageous estimates and timelines that just wouldn't work for my work schedule. Thankfully, Tate was recommended to me, and even got back to me within 2 hours after contacting him. He was incredibly understanding of my situation, and assured me he could get it done THE NEXT DAY. Wow!! After working with Tate, I cannot recommend him enough. As a female college student with no knowledge about cars trying to find someone I can trust, Tate was extremely transparent about his fair pricing and the work he does. I would HIGHLY recommend him and will be referring all of my friends to him. Thank you so much Tate!

I found Tate on Google and I m glad I did. Not only did he do a stellar job on my truck for what I brought it in for but in his thoroughness he found and corrected other potential issues at a great price. My truck is a tool I need for business and I ll be taking it to him in the future. I highly recommend Tate for not only his work ethic but the contact he kept to keep me updated. I just picked up my car from Align-IT Auto and I couldn't be happier! I'm brand new to town and was in a small fender bender. Tate is my neighbor and he immediately helped me out so I could keep my car on the road.My insurance recommended one of the "big guys", but I decided to go with Align-IT, a local small business. He took the time to give my car a thorough run thru and communicated with my insurance company. He was able to push back with them on a few things and insurance ended up agreeing to pay for it to be fixed. I don't trust that the big shops would have gone the extra mile like that.Tate worked with my schedule so I was without my car for a minimal amount of time. He did the body work very well. He communicated with me throughout the process. I'd highly recommend using Align-IT the next time you need help with your car.

Tate has done my car repairs for several years. He is always honest and fair. He goes above and beyond. And has even returned my car to me when repairs were finished, at no extra charge. It's nice to feel confident about the person doing your car repairs. I highly recommend!

In the car repair industry, women tend to get taken advantage of. Tate not only did the repair work needed on my Honda, but he went above and beyond with sending me pictures and consistent updates on how everything was going. He is extremely trustworthy and I felt confident in the work he was doing. My 12 year old car is running like it s brand new thanks to him! His prices and customer service were unbeatable! Tate was extremely helpful when I called in. Even though his services weren't exactly what I needed, he took the time to talk me through my situation, gave me sound advice, and referred me to body shops that could better assist me. He answered the phone right away, and was very professional and kind. If I ever am in need of his services, he 100% will get my husiness.
