If I could leave a minus star review I would. Over two and a half moths ago I call them to come pick up my scooter. Bingo! that very day they came up to Fernandina Beach to get it, for $120.00 it has been over two and a half months since and they still have done nothing! They told me six weeks ago they were waiting on parts ( I told them to just buy a new carburetor instead of trying to overhaul the old one. I find out later that they have never ordered the part.) I said it's bee over two month and they said, "Well, we like to take our time and do things right". I said "that's fine if your working on, then yes, I would appreciate you doing it right. I've asked to speak with Martin, the owner a dozen times and left that many messages....nothing form him. Nothing but the run around, time after time. THIS WAS THE WORST EVER!! STAY AWAY!!!

Worst experience with a shop I have ever had. Definitely is a problem with ownership. Dropped off the bike over 1.5 years ago. It was only after getting the police involved that they reassembled my bike. I ended up having to scrap it because it was being returned to me in worse shape then when I dropped it off. Over the course of the 1.5 years I was never contacted by either orange park or Jax beach locations even after calling many many times and visiting the stores to try and figure out what happened to my bike. Also was told for months that the owner would be in contact with me which never happened. They lost it for a period of 5 months and I was told many different stories and lies. Apparently the bike was not worth fixing but I was never told this information. Tried to contact owner but was of no help whatsoever. First picture is how they tried to return it. Second is how it looked when dropped off. Only positive was new employee crystal who helped me at the end. She was very nice and understanding.

They are in jax beach. Tons of people riding bikes. They have a bunch of Aventon adverts. I have an Aventon. So imagine my surprise when this useless, barren middle aged blonde white lady tells me they don t specialize in Aventon so I should go to their other locations or come back later maybe they can do normal basic maintenance. I m like what about some oil for chain? Straight looks me in the eye with contempt and says I m not doing it and crosses me off waitlist..

I just bought a Kymco 2018 (new leftover) Like 150i with ABS from the Solano Jacksonville Beach store, it was a very good experience. Aside from the great price (excellent deals right now, maybe they are clearing out stock to make room for new 2020 models?), the manager Chrystal was very professional, helpful, patient, knowledgeable, polite, and honest.Having had unpleasant experiences whilst shopping for a new scooter at local motorcycle stores (they wanted to add on $600 for nothing really) I had my guard up at Solano. But lo and behold the pricing was understandable and honest. I got the bike out the door with a very nice 3/4 helmet for just over $3,000. By the way, look into VyStar for a bike loan, mine was no money down, 36 months at 7.99%.I'm very happy with my purchase, I will be going back to the store in a few weeks to pick up my permanent license plate and to get the initial service. Solano has met and exceeded my expectations of the buying and customer-relationship experience. And no, they did not pay me to write this review as people sometimes think!

Worst purchase experience of my life. Nina treated me like an inconvenience from minute one. She also orchestrated & approved of the sale of a scooter that was missing parts & as a result would not go faster than 15mph. Very difficult to contact and treats customers like she is not even interested in a sale. WORST PURCHASE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!! I've had my scooter for less than 2 weeks & it doesn't even run. I highly recommend purchasing from a reputable company that appreciates your dollar enough to sell you a product that works to at least make you feel like you didn't pass away thousands of dollars . Now I own a $1500 paper weight. It's terrible that I can't even hold anyone accountable or at least get the chance to let them honor a warranty, because you cant get anyone on the phone over there. I called over 30 times in 1 day, and the only thing this broad wanted to do when I brought the issue to her attention is call me a liar. Flush your hard earned money before you spend spend with Nina from Jax Beach. Big thank you to Sandy for trying to make the situation better. She went above and beyond on the day of the purchase. NINA , NOT AT ALL !

My son's moped was in their shop for months waiting on a part so it could be fixed. It was only 2 weeks old. Come to find out it had been stolen by an ex employee with a key. The ex employee sold the moped to someone else for 1400. The moped was gone from their shop for a month or longer before they noticed. The moped was recovered by Jax Beach Police Department and is in their property room. My son and I went get it. It is barely recognizable and undrivable. The shop owner told me that he we would pick up the moped and take it back to the shop because I believe that I shouldn't have to pay for a tow. That was two weeks ago. I feel like this matter is not a high priority for him. I am very frustrated. I just want Solano to do the right thing and pick up the moped, repair all damages incurred due to the theft including body work and motor work. I feel like I'm getting the run around and may have to contact a lawyer to help in this situation which is extremely disappointing.

A positive sales experience from start to finish. Went in one Friday to do some preliminary research on buying my daughter a scooter. Nina & Sandy were extremely helpful and didn't apply any pressure towards one scooter/brand or another. They just tried to give me the facts on each one. Went back a week later w/my daughter and they were just as helpful. Finally went back a 3rd time to make purchase and despite a $1200 difference in two models I was looking at, neither of them tried to sway me toward the more expensive one. Purchased the Buddy 50 and returned the next day to pick up. Nina had it ready, walked us through everything and off we went. I also arranged to have it transported to Gainesville and I'm happy to say it arrived on schedule today and my daughter just picked it up. My daughter said the folks at that store were just as nice. I really appreciate how I was dealt with through this buying experience. There are other scooter dealers in JAX and in Gainesville, but I'm very glad I went with Solano for this purchase. They were awesome to deal with and I'd definitely recommend going to Solano vs. going anywhere else. Thanks Nina/Sandy!

If you are in a hurry to get your scooter repaired, don't go here. My scooter has been in their shop for 2 months now. If I don't go and see what's going on, I would never know the status of the repair. They are now waiting for a part to be delivered from Orange Park, but don't have a driver. Guess they never thought of the mail or UPS or FedEx. Totally unacceptable.

Bought a scooter here a few weeks ago. Great selection of scooters. Employees are professional, polite and courteous. Krystal did an excellent job as sales representative, beautiful personality and great attitude. Gave them my scooter for almost a month. I had to call them to get any sort of update. Ladies at the front desk refuse to call you. You have to keep checking in asking for updates or nothing will get done. They couldn t tell me anything every time I called . tech just left for the day I ll call you tomorrow (then don t call) tech was sick today I ll call ya tomorrow (no call) well what about the other 25 days you had it in the shop?? Ended up just going there to get my scooter and they claimed nothing was done, even though I saw a tech working on it a few weeks before while driving by, that s why I called the next day for an update. People have no clue what s going on faking it till they make it I guess. Take the time your going to waste with them and put it towards driving over the bridge to a shop that gets it.

I bought a brand new scooter a month ago. I took it in for service and they messed up my scooter. All of the oil leaked out and the scooter didn't drive the same. Now nobody wants to answer the phone when I call. I am completely inconvenienced. They don't have mechanics at the beach location. Last time I had an issue I called the owner. He told me he was too busy and put me on hold for over 20 minutes. If I could return my scooter and buy from a more professional company I would. They are not professional or decent. The worst experience ever. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! WHEN YOU NEED SERVICE THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE OR COMPETENT!! TRUST ME, I WISH SOMEONE WOULD HAVE TOLD ME NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!

I have had a pleasure experience. Nina helped with everything I needed. Bought a bike for my son she was very knowledgeable about it answered all our questions. Called several times alway got a quick answer. Would highly recommend talking to either Nina or Sandy they are great ladies and will go above and beyond to help in anyway possible.

This place is top notch. I came in with no idea on what I was looking for and was greeted by a smart young man and woman who were very knowledgeable. They made recommendations and asked specifically what I was looking for and make the whole experience as easy and stress free as can be for someone who knows nothing about scooters or bikes. I seriously would recommended anyone who is looking for a quality scooter, gust experience , and an easy convenient place to get a new scooter I would highly recommended checking out their location right across the street from sunrise surf shop on beach Blvd. I seriously couldn t find one bad thing about my whole experience and I left spending well over 3 grand on an amazing scooter I just drove home with. They just won over and earned themselves a loyal customer and if you give them a chance you ll definitely leave happy and as a loyal customer to. Thank you !!!!!!!

I came here to get a Scooter that I have repaired and the woman at the front desk was very helpful and answered all my questions. The mechanic who was on duty did a Great Job my scooter worked perfectly! I really recommend this place if you need any Scooter repairs or help to purchase a new scooter.

Worst experience I've ever had through any motorcycle dealership car dealership or any retail dealer. Staff are rude will lie to you after they make the sale that's it. No way to contact ownership even the managers of all four locations will state that they don't even know how to contact. Worst experience I've ever had with any type of business. They will even curse you out hang up if you call with a problem. People, I promise you you cannot even fathom of walking into a business that operates of this matter especially after you've bought a product from them. So therefore be warned by a real customer that has purchased a product within the last 30 days don't believe the good reviews that are written by employees and friends that are not verified customers. This review goes out to every one of solano's locations not just one the only way I could straighten out my problem was dealing with the manufacturer themselves across seas. My product was a kymco product which is a wonderful and great product be aware of who you buy it from kimco themself and the United States distribution are investigating of my matter. Suggest call kimco USA South Carolina that's the distribution center for the product they're very nice people and they stand behind and try to help out the consumer who bought their product find another dealership other than Solano and you will save yourself lots of problems and have a good product.

We were given such a run-a-round with the regards of pricing. We immediately sent them a cash amount for the written quote that was given us. Got a phone call the next day, needed more money ($300). We said ok will pay when we pick it up. Got another phone call the next day, needed $900 more due to inadequacy of person handling the deal. I finally said.... "NO!!! Cancel this whole deal and refund me my money!!!" Which the owner graciously did. I purchased a better 2021 UTV SXS for $1100 less. I am now glad the deal faltered the way it did! I feel this place should have honored our written quote, it was not our fault that the employee was an air head?

Just bought our first scooter today and Crystal was extremely helpful helping us pick the right one for us and getting us all set up! They take care of the title and registration right there for you. It s a really a one stop shop and your on your way!

We've been forced to use this scooter shop for years believing it was the only one in town. We try to get our scooters to the Solano in St. Augustine as they are a bit better. Two different scooters over the years, we've learned their process. Drop it off, they say they will call you, you hear nothing so you call them a few days later. Then they get angry and tell you they've got all this work to do and they cannot get to your bike for a week or two. By the time you figure this out, a whole week has passed and you still don't know what the problem is. If you pretend that you may buy a new scooter, you will probably get better repair service.Last time we went, they said the Scooter had an engine problem and was probably done, nothing they could do unless we wanted to fork over big bucks. This scooter didn't have that many miles on it and was relatively in good shape. We were ready to give it away for salvage when a knowledgeable mechanic told us it was the fuel pump. Go figure its been sitting in a garage for a good six months with us believing it was a goner.

We went to the one in Jax Beach. Decent inventory and friendly staff. The woman ( sorry, I forgot her name) was pleasant and helpful. We ended up buying a Kymco. They couldn't have it ready right away as it was later in the day so picking it up Tuesday. No complaints from us and we can complain, just check Yelp. I did mention to the younger gentleman working about how slammed they were on Yelp and mentioned maybe address it. It definitely made us think about even stopping at this location.

Don't go there. People are rude liers. Sold my daughter a used scooter as brand new. Confront all locations about issue. Cannot contact ownership.They have blocked our calls. for us just trying to figure out what is going on. Trust us difinitely spend time to find a reputable dealer for kymco or other manufactors. Even though Honda and Yamaha shops don't keep Kymco in stock we have figured out most of them are authorized distributer they can have it shipped to store within a week then you will have good quality service from seller other than spending time in court to fix a matter
