This is an amazing, friendly and caring family-owned dealership!!! My husband and I were headed to Rainbow Springs Campground and found out that the campground's water pump went out and we would not have water there for several days. Como RV saved the day by letting us fill up our very large tank at their Inverness location. They refused to let us pay! If you are looking for a great deal, stop by and check out their inventory. They had a wide variety of great looking campers, and by the way we were treated, I expect they will make you a very fair deal!!!

Good prices & great service. Last month we purchased a travel trailer with the assistance of Tim & Jesse. They took the time to answer all of our questions, on and off the lot. So happy with our purchase & experience. Highly recommended!

I signed a contract to purchase a Forest River Viking travel trailer which looked very nice and was advertised as a "10" on their website. When we went to sign the final papers and my husband did his own inspection he found a soft spot right next to the bed. He went out to the storage area with the salesperson and after removing a piece of duct tape found a hole in the floor. He could feel that it was rotted out for about 5 feet on that side and that there was also a repair on the roof and after noting it the sales person came clean and said the owners had a hit a tree and tried to repair it, but badly. Their technician sealed it back up, but the salesperson admitted it might have been worse than the owners had admitted. So much for it being a "10." All along the salesperson told me that if we found any issues during my husband's inspection that, of course, Mr. Como being a man of great integrity, would fix whatever we found to our satisfaction But no, Mr. Como didn't seem to be the paragon of integrity the salesperson had declared him to be since he refused to even try to fix it. So no, we would never go back to Como RV and beware the buyer who ends up purchasing the travel trailer with a bad repair to the roof and a rotted floor.

We took our trailmanor in for a tune up as it had become more difficult to open. I could tell the torsion system needed some adjustment. Como is the only designated Florida trailmanor service center so we dropped it off as we were camping in the area almost 3 hours from our home. After 3 months and many phone calls later it was ready to be picked up. My husband brought it home and opened it up as we were going to prep it for an upcoming trip. We discovered the front bed no longer pulled all the way out, there was a gap at the top where the shells come together and the door no longer shut. I called Como and the manager explained how the torsion system worked and said I'll have to bring it back. He did not take responsibility or acknowledge that I paid over $1000 and he returned my trailmanor in damaged condition. I shared my problems on the trailmanor owners Facebook group for support on how to fix the problems and multiple people chimed in that they had also only taken their trailmanor to Como only once for this reason. Now we shove a pool noodle in the top and front and have to rig our door with a bungee cord. Trailmanor owners beware!!

Worse post experience ever. Left an honest unbiased review about a lance they were selling For about forty k that when I walked inside, there had been water on the floor... Will the owner saw my review and decided to insult me online And Can tried to make it seem like I was unreasonable somehow. Claimed I left the review only to get another level on my Google review platform. I guess what he fails to understand is that you don't insult your customers and then expect them 2 have good things to say about your business especially when they're just being honest.. Sales guy was nice enough and the lot was laid out decent. Just couldn't believe I got back lash.. I guess something to consider if you're thinking about going there.. and make sure you go there after rains..free leak test!

Buyer Beware! After blowing two fuses on the battery wired to the Scout Lite, they hooked up the camper to my 2014 XTerra. BTW...there was some mention of a new guy that didn't get it right all the time. Approximately 2 miles from the RV dealer, I heard a pop and my whole vehicle shut down! Smoke from connection in back. Fire Dept observed battery on camper was wired incorrectly. Took out whole electric system on my vehicle. They claim my hook-up was to blame, even though this is a factory installed hitch that came with the vehicle when I bought it brand new in 2014. Shop where repair was made confirmed it was whatever had been hooked up to my vehicle. So, Como RV refuses to cooperate and give us their mandatory shop insurance info. We're not done yet. Loss of vehicle valued @ $20,000 reduced to $4000.00 trade-in. Oh yeah, we were passing through on our way back home, about 1,000 miles away. Forced to buy a new vehicle to get home. Not sitting idlely by. 08/03/2023 - So here we are, one year and 7 months after fighting for compensation, lawyers and more expense involved (a lot more) and they have taken no responsibility. Anger and extreme frustration does not begin to cover my feelings for Como RV. Take a mechanic with you if you want to do business with them. Do me a favor out of support - don't darken their door!! September 2023 and I am out of money and out of luck. Como's Insurance Company lawyers have continued denial that what happened was Como's negligence. They have developed unsubstantiated claims against me and want to go to court. Not only did I have to buy a car $10,000 over market price just to get home, my attorney's fees have drained me. I have to let it go. Justice was so blind in this case, the facts were never viewed with open eyes.

Warm and friendly it's not, stood at desk being ignored for like 3 min and I was the only 1 there. When I was acknowledged, it was by a gruff man from the service area. He was very helpful even tho he knew I'd be ordering online.

My husband and I drove two hours to see the 2022 Aliner elite. It was too small so Andy showed us the scout. It seemed perfect. (Later found out he wanted to sell it without the refridgerator) I told him the max we wanted to spend. He handed me his quote. It was too high. I said I told you my max. He mysteriously found a way to give me the price I wanted while saying we aren't interested in the money but making our customers happy. OK then why didn't you start at my price? Next the financing. I have excellent credit and after being at the dealership several hours he came up with an insulting interest rate. I said this rate is NOT for my credit score. Please tell your guy to find another institution. Andy said, "We use that bank it has the best rates." No thanks. We rolled out and not in his camper.

I see there are bad and good reviews however, my experience was good so far. Have not had to have service done. If I do I will rate that at that time. I feel I was treated good and my salesman Tim was great. Treated like family. Always delt with big dealerships in past. Smaller was more personable. Also meeting owner Mr. Como was a very pleasant experience. I feel our trade in was valued fair. At this time I would recommend them to family and friends and already have. Thank you.

We just left Como RV after refusing a 2013 aliner expedition that we put a refundable deposit on, sight unseen except for internet pictures. We are high risk for virus complications, my husband is very high risk due to asthma, diabetes and heart issues and we have a daughter with cerebral palsy and a granddaughter with asthma. We are extremely careful because of all of this. Even though Como RV doesn't have a mask policy, we told our salesperson that we wanted anyone who dealt with us to have masks on. He said he had to talk to the boss, then called back and said they would wear masks. We were also told that the trailer would be sanitized and thoroughly cleaned and detailed. When we arrived, the staff had a noticeably resentful attitude toward us and refused to wear a mask but said that they would keep their distance - which one did not. We should have walked away when they refused to honor our wishes but we live 3 hours away and these things are hard to come by now, so we stayed. When we opened the door of the trailer, there was a young woman without a mask, in the trailer frantically wiping the tops of the table and countertops with sanitizer wipes. They had known for a week that we were coming today, at this time. She said she was 'sanitizing' like we asked. We had masks and shields on, so we went in anyway, after she left. The floor was dirty, the floor rugs were dirty, the threshold was loose, the upholstery was coming apart in places, the ac was wasn't able to cool the trailer, there was a huge gap between the wall and ceiling on one side. Outside, most of the bottom bolts were rusty, there was rust underneath on the frame, there had been a sloppy caulking job around the windows, so probably they had leaked at some point. There were other issues, too. We did not expect a 7 year old trailer to look new, but at their asking price of $12000, we expected and were told, that it was in very good condition. Obviously, the salesman knew that nothing had been done to this trailer to clean or improve anything. He lied to us. I don't know if he lied about the masks or if his colleagues were just stubborn and wouldn't wear them. They knew how far we had to come to see this trailer. We are really mad about this. What a waste of time and gas!,Beware of dealing with these folks! They obviously don't care about customers.

If I could give them a 10, I would. Andy was our salesman and was extremely helpful. My wife and I then talked to Rick. There was no high pressure. They also have team work between their sales people. When we went to hook up everybody was helping, we are happy with our deal and travel trailer. There was one speaker that stopped working. Mark, in service got it in and right out. We dealt with sales and service and are more than happy.

Staff seems friendly though very busy. Buyer beware. I don't trust their service department. They really don't inspect the used RVs on their lot aside from some of the obvious visual stuff. When I got my RV the brakes seemed a little weak. I chalked it up to them needing to be adjusted. I went to adjust them and lo and behold, the hardware for the brakes was completely missing on one of the wheels! Very shady of both the original seller and Como RV.

It took a long time for my awning to come in, over 2 months. With that being said who knows now a days with labor shortages, who's fault is that is. Installation was done while I waited, took about an hour. The guys got right on it once I arrived. Very pleased with the outcome.

Way over priced. Bought a basic camco RV filter for $50 that was $16 at Walmart and Amazon. They wouldn t take it back. Seems like price gouging. Also noticed most everything in the store was way overpriced. I expected to pay a bit more here but their prices are ridiculous. I wouldn t buy anything from here without price checking.

Would do zero if that was an option. Got approved for a RV but had questions about the contract and APR. My first email after a full credit pull from James O'Neill gave 4 lines of information in an email after my persistence, not an actual contract. I had a few questions as I was new to this process to which I got short answers. The numbers did not make sense. When I questioned tax, tag, title fees with dealer fees Mr. O'Neill decided to quit responding after 2 additional inquires and 9 days later. I still am not aware on the fees present on these vehicles but would suggest you completely research before signing anything.

Very shady stuff going on at this place. I called expressing interest in a 2020 Aliner Ranger 12 that was listed on their site for $15,500. I call and ask about it and oh wouldn't you know it, that's gone and they only have the 2021 models in and out the door the price is $18,600. Neat. The biggest insult though is that I asked Tim if they could enable us to test all of the systems on the unit when we were there and he stated no because they dont have techs there on Saturday's. At first I thought he was kidding but his explanation is that if they leave it on the RV it could be stolen. Uhhh, what?? This is important because well, everyone should do this before a major purchase like this and we would be coming from Tampa over an hour away. This tells me a few things, 1) apparently Tim doesn't know how to or is too lazy to connect and then disconnect a battery and a propane tank for customers, 2) that their lot is not very secure and 3) worst of all, they are willing to lose out on a solid sale over $150 worth of propane and a battery. It's a shame too because we have great credit, buying power and are motivated. Go somewhere else. We will be.

WOW I highly recommend this dealership. Please make sure you ask for Wayne. He is extremely patient, knowledgeable, and had me in Happy tears because of how he helped me this morning. He is honest in his work and I am blessed to have been assisted by him and the other gentleman he asked for clarification. Praise God for them!!

I emailed and called for several day is asking about this trailer before driving 3 hours one way to look at it with the hope of purchasing. Specifically asked if there was water damage and was told about their wonderful inspection and how they would go through everything with me which I mistakenly assumed to mean that there wasn't any. When I arrived at the salesman, Andy walked me back to look at the unit which was in very poor shape and clearly had water damage. I made it very clear I was driving 3 hours to look at the RV. Pissed does not even describe my irritation with wasting an entire day and about $80 in gas driving down for nothing. Please don't waste your time coming to look at something that these people have advertised on the internet. When I told other dealers in the area about my experience I didn't even have to tell them the name of the dealership, they guessed.

Drive 2 hours to look at their Aframe models to purchase one. My husband and I were literally turned away because we did not have the proper vehicle to drive away with one. Sales person brushed us off did not want to show us ANYTHING. Next thing you know he went back into the sales office and we left. Without getting any info, prices or sales help. I will take my business to someone who wants it.

We experienced a problem with the battery on our pop up trailer ( in a no electric campground) and found NO satisfaction with our NY RV dealer. So we called this place and Wayne in the service area problem solved the issue over the phone to our great relief! Thanks again

UPDATE JULY 2ND 2018:I gave this dealer another chance and purchased a 2014 5TH Wheel RV from them. Spent about $30k in cash. They do a pre-sale inspection to make sure everything works and is in good condition. During the pre-sale inspection, the water pump wasn't shutting off - which means the system was not getting pressurized properly. The service tech told me this was the way this particular RV worked. The water pump just always stays on. A few days after purchase, I had a 3rd party tech come out and inspect the system. After $275, it turned out one of the valves was damaged and needed to be replaced, which is why the system wasn't holding air. During the pre-sale inspection, I was also told the tires were "good to go" and had no problems. Right now, I'm typing this review from a breakfast place across from a tires plus in god-knows-where Florida. The tires were from 2011 and 2012 - 2 years older than the unit itself - and two tires blew out on this trip. The tires destroyed both sides of the RV. Had the dealer simply told me the tires were old and needed to be replaced, I still would have bought the unit but replaced the tires before I went on a 4 hour trip. Such a shame.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Horribly sleezy. I stopped by at closing Thursday night during Irma prep. They had the $600 wire I needed and the adapters. Promised to hold it for me until the morning. I stopped by first thing in the morning and they sold it out from under me. Horribly sleezy. Don't trust these guys.

We purchased a 2013 5th wheel from Como Rv in March 2019. Tim Hudson was our salesmen, he was very friendly but did not keep his word. We where told the extra keys and operational manuals where in office locked up and he would send them to us on Monday morning once he could get into the office, well its June now and we still don t have the extra keys or manuals. The RV has a central Vacuum system, Tim told us the attachments where under the bed, when we got home and looked under the bed there was nothing there. For the first month and half Tim would return my Text saying they were trying to find the above items now he wont return my Texts. Also the automatic leveling system that Tim stated was very finicky and I had to be patient for it to work just does not work in Automatic mode period. The Microwave handle was broken, Tim opened the Microwave and showed us inside it so he had to have know the handle was broken but did not say anything to us about it.I realize we bought a used RV and had we been told upfront about the above issues we would have still probably bought the RV I just don t like feeling like we were intentionally misled.I would not recommend Como RV.

Dealt with Como when purchased Aliner Scout Nov of 2013. Reasonable price for a little gem of a trailer. They fixed little things under warranty first year. Since then, I have taken it by and they helped me tweak a few things for free. THey have been fair with me when issues arose. I am grateful to live close by the dealership!

I left one star because I can't leave ZERO STARS. Basically my experience started at the Homosassa location where i met a very nice man named Jim. He left me thinking this was a good business with the way his attitude was and his dealings. So much so that I looked at their website and found the exact trailer I was looking for at the Inverness location. So I drove an hour to get there and I am greeted by Norton True who informs me that basically EVERYTHING that I looked at on the website DOES NOT EXIST... They only keep them on the website I guess to lure suckers like me in. Then to make it worse Norton True makes it out to be MY FAULT that I wasted my precious time by not calling first. NO SIR, I expect you to have TRUTH in advertising. If you can't even be truthful in your advertising how could I ever expect you to be truthful in your business dealings. He was very RUDE and if he is representing the business well he left the wrong impression with me. You have one chance to make a first impression, Norton True did just that. He made a VERY BAD FIRST IMPRESSION with me. So much so that you will NEVER see me or my family or friends ever step foot in their dealership. BUYERS BEWARE...

Recently bought a Cricket Sport. The salesman was lukewarm, promised some things like propane which were never delivered. Then 45 minutes in to my trip home the tongue jumped off the hitch ball. The cricket uses a cool thingy on the tongue to secure it to the hitch ball which I was unaware of. I had to replace the jack and jack wheel that was damaged. I asked Como to send me a replacement and they wanted to charge me. Then, I discovered that the front awning attachment point was delaminating and pulled apart. When I called about that one, they put me off to the service guy. Since they are a 4 - 5 hour drive away I figured I'd fix it myself. Thanks to a great Cricket FB group I received instructions on how to fix it - apparently it's reasonably common. With $15 in parts and 30 minutes of labor it was fixed. My love for my Cricket is changing to a "strong like" and Como RV moved from "ok" to "bad". If I had it to do over again, I'd buy from someone else who actually was interested in my business.

Sketchy business practices and major price hikes. Also, Tim will try to sell you campers based on what needs to moved out of their inventory vs what your family needs are. He'll tell you that certain campers will not fit on your truck when in fact they will just because either he doesn't have what you're looking for or because he has to sell certain units to move them off the lot. Dont trust him as there's lot of lying going on.For example, we were approved at a local bank and after a mishap happened with the rv we had put a deposit on, when we found the exact camper (the one Tim said our 3/4 ton Ford F250 wouldn't handle but after research, it does and with ease) we wanted in Indiana for a much more reasonable price (even with the shipping). Tim said the bank wouldn't give us the loan because the camper was in another state. Well, I'm very happy to report that we got the loan approved for a brand new 2020 unit and it just arrived yesterday from Indiana (which is where the distribution center is for Forest River/Palomino). Do your homework and research. If you walk in this place not understanding what your doing, you're putting yourself at risk of spending way more money and you may be settling for a unit that you aren't going to be happy with.
