Every dollar spent here is a dollar wasted, the customer service from the manager I spoke with was awful. He berated an employee in front of me and made me stand there and wait while he did so. (It was over something so silly too, he turned on a computer he wasn t supposed to.) The staff aren t very knowledgeable, which I don t expect them to be mechanics but I do expect to at least get the right part that I ordered. There has been numerous times I have had to bring parts back to this location. There is about 5 auto part stores in this area, and all of them are better than advance. Granted this seems to be limited to just this franchise location, as other advance autos I have visited don t display this level of incompetence.

If you need a part that day do not order from advance Auto parts. The delivery process is very slow I ordered a battery at 8:30 this morning and still have not received at 8:00 at night. Websites the same day delivery most times under 3 hours . Not true you'll be lucky to get your part that day.

I didn't catch the name of the fellow who helped me yesterday afternoon, but my receipt says Register 2, Joey T so I hope the name is correct.HUGE shout out to Joey T!The shop was busy and the only other employee assisting had an injury and was unable to do battery replacements. Joey had me in and out with a brand new battery inside of 25 minutes. He ran the diagnostic test, sold me the battery, and installed the battery, all himself while helping the other employee change a battery for another customer. His customer service attitude and work ethic are absolutely phenomenal. Thank you so very much for everything!

The staff at this location went above and beyond helping me.I'm here in Florida visiting my retired Mom & Stepdad, the helped me with a couple replacement bulbs for their truck, and proved that real customer service is not a dying art just yet !I commend the fine gentlemen that helped me all the staff, managers for hiring people who actually care about what they do, the people they help, and character and integrity in which they do their jobs.Two thumbs up !!!

This is usually a good place to stop for your automotive needs. It's not always the cheapest but they do offer savings when you order online & pick-up in store. Most of the time you'll find employees that are knowledgeable enough to be able to help you with what you need. These guys definitely aren't overly-friendly & they don't go above & beyond in the 'customer service' department but by no means are they rude either. They are by the letter with what their job is & isn't. This isn't exactly a bad thing since it gets the customers in & out as quick as possible so they can move on to the next person in line. It's usually not a terribly long wait time either.

I spent $200 on a new alternator and they gave me the complete wrong one, paid a guy to install it for me and wasted multiple hours just to find out they gave me the wrong thing I ordered and had to wait 3 days for. Now I can t drive my car for another 3 days waiting for the RIGHT part.

My car wouldn t start for the second time in a couple days. I went to A previous auto care store and they ran a test under my hood said everything was fine. I came here frustrated and upset after breaking down yet again, Myra welcomes me with a smile offered a place to charge my phone to sit down and cool off and a fan while she went out and assessed my vehicle stating it had to be done at the battery which was right behind the passenger seat in the car. To my surprise, she knew exactly where the battery was! Who knew it wasnt under the hood lol She was extremely knowledgeable and more than willing to help. She was out there in the extreme heat Installed the battery and performed all the other tests that she could to make sure I would be OK. After all of that, another customer approached her and she greeted them with a smile as if she hadn t been working hard for the past hour with me LOL and went right back to work helping the other customer in this heat outside! Myra has amazing customer service and hope she gets the recognition she deserves even now I m watching her greeting customers outside helping them with whatever they need!!

I had noticed that when I tried to use my right hand turn signal that the light would come on but wasn't blinking. I was also told by someone on the road that my right brake light wasn't working. I stopped by Advance Auto Parts and the gentleman working was able to help me find the right bulb to replace my burned out bulb and put it in for me. They normally don't do that but he had to take mine out to make sure which of the two recommended bulbs was the right one. It turned out that my brake light is also my turn signal. Thank you so much for the help!

Today July 11th is my birthday and I went to the Inverness store. I was helped by Joey he helped me with a new battery and terminals. He was a God send to me today he helped me out big time. He deserves to be manager God bless him

Stopped to get a license plate light bulb and windshield wiper blades. They wouldnt replace the wiper blades because it was raining. They said come back when its not raining. We did and they did. Service was good. As far as cost who knows? These arent items you need to buy on a regular basis and i cant image there would be much of a price difference anywhere else.

Refused to warranty my a/c compressor even with my receipt and a email from corporate. It hasn't even been 3 yrs. I also informed them that it was for my wife's vehicle. We also have 3 kids she transports in this Florida heat. My transportation is not large enough for everyone to fit so we can't trade. Not sure how I'm going to get another one. Not everyone can just spend $417

Employees are not trained at all, do not admit when they don't know something and will wreck your equipment! They also lied to me to get me to buy new batteries. Mine were perfectly fine! I will never trust another Advanced Auto.

They have a pretty good selection and the store is clean we're fairly well organized and their online experience is pretty seamless. Their pricing used to be better but still pretty decent... definitely look for discounts and online coupon codes. Usually the lowest I'll find is 20% off but sometimes it's 25% or 30% off so definitely look for those... that'll save you a ton!Great place to get your battery checked or alternator and they'll run a few other checks for you for free!Would definitely recommend them.

This store is amazing!! I had a broken rear windshield wiper. They helped me order the correct things. Grabbed them from the store. Ordered what was left. It made it in same day! When I went to pick it up they not only assisted me in getting everything together, they coached me through the process. JT and Dennis, thank you so much for making my life a little easier!

My car started stalling out while driving through Inverness Florida. Swung into the store and asked for someone to run the scan tool to see what was wrong. Three people standing at the registers asked if the check engine light was on and when I said I didn't look? Two girls said we can't run a scan unless the check engine light is on. So I told them that the check engine light comes on periodically? They replied they couldn't run the scan because I first said the check engine light wasn't on? I have always bought my parts from them. I told them they were a joke and they were useless. When the manager at the front door mockingly kept repeating have a great day I lost it and cussed them out. Would have taken one of them 5 minutes to run the scan? Instead they lost a customer for life. Live 5 minutes from the store for 37 years. They were not even in Inverness when I moved here. Never felt so disrespected.

Great experience for the young man who helped an older lady get a new battery. It was installed quick on Sunday 8/22/21 around 11:20, able to get back on road. Thank you for kindness.

Rudest experience EVER!Ordered parts at 11:30 am , Woman told me "Will be here today by 4pm, guaranteed "Drove to the store 45 minutes away to be there at 4:25pm annnnnnnnd? No brake calipers, no call but more importantly, ZERO COMMUNICATION WITH THE WAREHOUSE to find out what happened and when the parts WOULD actually be there!Had to BEG THE GIRL to call and find out and return my call for an answer...With all the other choices in a mile in either direction, you'd think they would be trying to give exceptional attention to customer service to retain clients.

This is my hometown auto parts store and I just have to pat them on the back for such great customer service. I believe they go above and beyond. Especially thanking John as he installed the windshield washer cap for me. It was so tight I don't know if I could have done it. Once again great Job!

7/29/2022 blonde lady working counter incredibly rude.One of the employees actually suggested that I should drive my car up to the store to ensure I bought the right radiator cap... When I said... You can't drive a crazy without a radiator cap I was shocked when I was he responded "sure you can"I mean yea... If you want to damage it badly... You sure can.

Not happy with them. I needed4 cans of A/C refrigerant. They wanted $16.49 each. I decided not to purchase here and checked out Walmart. They were only "$5. a can. If you want to get ripped off go to advance.
