I wanted to wait to post a review, at least a year for many reasons. Mainly to be as fair as possible. I, like many others who have owned a few factory boats finally pulled the trigger to build a Young 27 almost a year and a half ago. I will admit that was a very tough call to make especially at the very beginning of Covid with the start of the build! Now looking back...absolutely have NO regrets and Id do it again no hesitation! Robb's team from day one, professional and personal. I've had the boat about a year and a half and still smiling! Service and support have been AS promised. My family could not be happier and I can't wait till the next build! Thank you Dawn and team!!!

First off, I have no affiliation with Young Boats in any way. My review is provided based on the simple fact that I've seen a lot of manufacturers make poor quality boats and admire what Young Boats has done, and continues to do. Young Boats not only makes some of the absolute best boats for both inshore and offshore fishing, the company is run by highly competent individuals at every level of the business. One thing that separates Young Boats apart from others boat manufacturers, among many factors, is their honesty and integrity. No matter how flashy a boat manufacturers' advertising campaigns may be, it's what happens when the glass hits the mold that makes the difference. Young Boats does not cut corners in the construction of any boat you buy from them, and they stand behind their boats. In years past, I've spoken with the owner and his wife personally. They listen to the needs of the consumers. The guides and fisherman. They've made a conscious effort both develop boats to suit those needs and develop construction methods that integrate those needs into the finished product. I have a good friend who owns a couple of their boats and has been completely satisfied. When it comes time for me to get into another flats boat, Young Boats is indeed on my list.

I inquired about gel coat restoration work which is listed on their website as a service. I also inquired about new floor decking on my bass boat. I was told they do not have time for me or time to take on any projects as they have to deal with their own boat production. If that's the case you should take that off your website as a service listed. I am extremely disappointed and I would never recommend this company!!! ironically enough they have never even seen my boat to know how much work was going to go into it and how much work I would be willing to do myself. Update******* they have contacted me and we are trying to work it out. I will change my review Once I see how this goes

Couldn t be more pleased with not only the performance of my custom built boat from these guys but also the customer service from the techs (Jarrod) to the owner, the service is 2nd to none and I will definitely be having them build my next boat!!!
