Embry & Sons has been trusted by my family since the 80s. I was sick to my stomach when someone backed into my Highlander. Embry s was the only place I would consider taking it to. They gave us a great price and were confident it would be good as new. Great communication along the way! They called when they needed a couple extra days to get it just right- I appreciated their honesty and attention to detail. They even recoated my rims that had a few drive-thru scuffs. Everything turned out beautifully- like it never even happened. We will continue to trust them for years to come!!

Just picked up my Traverse from Embry and could not be more pleased with the body repair they did. From the damage to the perfectly matched paint color everything done was more than expected. Even after rescheduling due to hurricane Idalia they were still able to execute the repairs in a very efficient time frame at a very affordable price. I would highly recomend them to any one needing body work or repairs.

Was not impressed by the repair shop. Shop did do me a "favor" by allowing me to purchase my own battery instead of opting for their $355 option. Only allowed to do so after negotiating with an employee.The vehicle I brought in was a volkswagen. They gave me no warning upon delivery that they are not equipped to run advanced diagnostics on a VW. After a week plus of having the car post battery delivery they call me to tell me they can't figure it out. They charge me a diag fee and were not able to produce a diagnosis. I understand the shop spent time with the car but at the end of the day I beleive I should have been warned that the shop does not have the ability to diagnose more complex vw problems. They were aware of the codes before I had it towed in. Now I am out the cost of 2 tows, diag fee and a week of time they had the car. I explained to the shop I would have been better off leaving it in my driveway. For reference ... several other shops I called after the fact had the respect to tell me that they would probably not be able to diagnose it and they would recommend taking it elsewhere. Saving me time and money. Why was this not done in this case?

Did great work for the amount quoted and finished on time. Rates much better than other shops. Hopefully wont have any more need for body work but if I do I will use them again.

I just wanted to give a huge 5 stars to Embry and Sons for helping me out this morning!! I had recently taken my car into extra mile auto for my alternator to be replaced and then they sent it next door to the tire shop to have a tire replaced also... when I got my car back the a.c. stopped working and my tire monitoring system on that exact tire stopped working. Well I brought my car back into extra mile to have my air conditioner inspected to find out what the problem was. They called me to come pick it up and said that they were going through checking the fuse and something else and somehow the compressor just kicked back on out of nowhere. They charged me 220$ for taking out the freon and putting new freon in and fixing it. They said more than likely the compressor is going out and I should run it until it goes out and then come back and they could replace the compressor for just about 700$... literally the next morning my a.c. went out again!!! After spending 220$ to get it fixed.. well I just had a weird feeling they weren't being truthful at extra mile. So then I was referred to Embry and Sons from a close friend and it's nearby my house so I went in this morning they took my car in right away to check it out and while waiting the lady at the front desk had talked to us and was the nicest lady! A few mins later the guy came back in and said all done! It was a fuse that was only half way pushed in so I pushed it in and the compressor kicked right on. My a.c. is still currently working and they saved me 700$ that I was going to have to pay at Extra mile where I personally feel was trying to rip me off and act like it was my compressor going bad... i am so unbelievably grateful to Embry and Sons for being honest truthful and helped me out so much! I will most certainly be using them for ALL of my future car troubles. I'm so glad there are still honest people in the world. It's few and far in-between so thank you so much!!

I'm located in Seattle, WA but my pops lives down in Florida and was having transmission issues. I wanted to find a reputable shop for him to go. After looking through google reviews I found these guys, took a chance and told my pops to send his truck their way.They did a phenomenal job, communicating the whole time with me even though I was all the way in Washington. They removed his transmission and replaced a rear main seal fixing the mistake that another shop had made. They charged him $546.00 practically giving it away compared to Seattle, WA prices. Couldn't recommend these guys enough! Thank you from King's Transmission Seattle.*UPDATE*My pops called me today and told me his windshield wiper fluid wasn't working. So I told him to go back in and tell them. He did and they took care of the plugged hose and solved a gas cap issue that was causing a check engine light. All of that and they charged him $20... that's what I paid for my burger king lunch today in Seattle. Again great work guys.Service: Transmission

Jesse Did the estimate for me for my insurance and then redid it because my insurance company refused to pay at the time of the accident, now I'm just waiting for the insurance approval, finally almost 2yrs. Not Embry s fault lts progressive insurance s. Thank you so much,this place is the best. I went to them because my nephew got his auto body repairs at a very reasonable price and awesome job at this shop.I cant wait to get my truck repaired by them! They went above and beyond to help me out!!

Had body work done on tailgate of my truck to repair previous repair that was done poorly. Had fender covers sanded down and repainted and clear coat repair as well. Could not be happier with results! Truck looks fantastic. Work done on tailgate is impressive! You'd never know it was repaired. All done at a price much lower than expected. Highly recommend Embry & Sons. Super nice people as well!!

We went there for brake repair. Most current was something to do with the suspension. Scott helped us. He had our car in and out in about 24 hours. I was updated on everything and the prices were better than expected. They are trust worthy and also made me aware of other things that will need to be done eventually but were not pushy about it. Other than a damaged tire that was a safety concern. Will definitely use them again.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brake service & repair

I m a bit disappointed to write this review- I ve gone to Embry and Sons a few times, just for minor repairs, and I ve always felt they did a good job!But recently I was having trouble with my car slow starting, so when I took it in for an oil change they said they would run diagnostics. I then got the call that my battery was shot and a quote for a $200+ replacement.To give a little backstory- I had just bought this car and was told it had a BRAND NEW BATTERY so it s less than a year old, I had also gotten this battery tested and was told it was in perfect condition.Confused, I took it to auto zone just to test it again- lo and behold- the battery is perfect.So there are only 2 scenarios I can think of, either they lied and didn t run diagnostics, just guessed at what was wrong and took a lazy approach and were going to change me over $250 that wouldn t even solve my problem OR they saw I was a single girl and decided to take advantage of my naivety (which is what the guy at autozone guessed after he told me my battery was perfect and my mechanic lied to me).Either way I m pretty disgusted and won t be giving them my service again.Services: Electrical, Battery, Oil change

If I could give them a six or seven star rating I would. These are gentleman they do beautiful work they're very accommodating. they're local neighborhood people who've lived here for a long time so you know you're going to get the best you can from them because they're neighbors. If you need the services for your vehicle shop local and give them a try

They are very nice and respectful men who know what they're doing! Awesome local family owned buisness. Reasonable pricing and they even drove out to me after my car stopped working to get it back to the shop to quickly figure out the issue and make the necessary adjustments! I felt very safe and in good hands at Embry & Sons. Highly recommend

My experience with Embry is one of complete satisfaction. They are polite and courteous. They price very fairly. I am returning to have more work done with a new problem my car is having. As a brand new customer of Embry's I couldn't feel more confident in their service. I really don't have mechanical skills and need an honest qualified mechanic that I can trust. I am also budget stretched, so fair prices are also important to me. That is why I'm happy to share my great experience with this review to help others make an informed decision. Calling to explain your issue you are treated to a respectful and attentive ear. Then an expedient appointment. Repairs done quickly and correctly. I am so happy to have discovered Embry & Sons Automotive, and I know you will be too.

This shop was recommended by a friend. They were fantastic to me, Friendly and knowledgeable! Fixed my problem and me on my way in no time. This is my new go to pace for car repairs. Can't be topped! I highly recommended this shop for your car problems.

Embry and Sons did a great job on repairing my vehicle. I had a large amount of auto body work that included dents and paint and they repaired it spectacularly! Highly recommend this business for your car needs. I was referred to Embry & Sons Automotive by a friend. Did not have to make an appt, did not have to wait to get a quote. As soon as I went in one of the owners Jesse came right-out to look at my car. Out of 3 places I went for quotes this was by far the most affordable. I called the following week to make an appt, I brought my car in Monday and was told it would be a few days.. Wednesday I get a call that my car is ready. I as so nervous to see it hoping it was gonna look brand new. The work was better then I expected. It looked like nothing happened. The paint matched perfectly the dent was gone. They did amazing and did it in such short time. Thank you so much Embry & Sons automotive. If a situation ever comes up again I will not think twice about where I will take my car!!5+++++= stars for this shop.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I trust my cars to very few, after meeting Jessie Embry outside of his auto business I was very comfortable taking my car to his shop for headlamps restoration. Absolutely Perfect job by Brandon. Knowing how I care for my car they even washed it for me before pick up. Wow. Thank you Brandon, Jessie, and Eric. Sincere, honest, and will stand behind what they do.

I have been going to Embry and sons now for 3 years with 2 cars.They've been one of the most trusted, reliable and fair prices mechanics I have ever dealt with. A family run business that treats you like family and will never pad the bill with unnecessary work. I can't rave enough about these guys.!!!!!

These guys are so friendly and honest. I have been a customer for several years and every time I'm there I am moved by the way Brandon treats everyone who comes in with kindness and warmth. Truly a great automotive repair experience - which is tough to come by.

The guys at Embry & Sons are all awesome and super nice. They are honest and do both auto mechanics and they have auto body technicians onsite.They do all they can do to make your experience as pleasant and stress free as possible.

They had my car for two days (Thursday and Friday) contacted me to say that they were unable to do the repairs to the computer system. However, they said they said they would do some of the other stuff (breaks and oil change) that needed to be done not involving the computer. When I went to pick it up nothing had been done to do any of the repairs. No apology was given. I was told that it had not been communicated to him by his co owner (who had left early for the day) and if I wanted to leave it over the weekend they would do it on Monday. With kids I can't be without a car over the weekend and the friend I was able to borrow a car from for those two days needed it back. I do my best to give my business to family owned local companies, but I will be taking my car elsewhere to have all of the repairs done.
