What a waste of money. Super unprofessional, rude front desk worker. We were told the mechanic is only there 2 days a week, so if you drop something off to be fixed be prepared to wait. They essentially did nothing, because the engine is missing required pieces (the engine was brand new) and charged $100 to tell us they couldn t do anything.

At first I went in for a part to replace myself. That didn't work out so I returned with my lawn mower. I had them do maintenance and sharpen blade. Quick service for a decent price.

My husband bought a chainsaw for repair, after a month of calling them he had to pick it up it in a box In pieces because they would tell him they are waiting for parts or he is working on it, and they are nasty and unprofessional

Its a small engines repair shop for Citrus County. I've only been here once to get a go cart tire switched to a new rim I had bought. And if anyone has ever tried to remove and mount a lawn mower or go cart tire, or similar tires. They are everything but easy to do! I called several( 5 ) different shops that deal with small engine and lawn mower repair shops. And was getting estimates for what I needed. The est. all came to around the same price.($75-$100) to do the tire and rim for me. Called S&R mower repair and they said they could do it for $20 and they would have it done in an hour. Did a great job and I was happy with the work. Gave them $30 and a big Thank you.

Very reasonable price Very fast dropped my generator on a wensday they rebuilt my carb cleand all fule lines and tank got it back on Friday I was very happy with the work and the people are the best

If I could leave zero I would.Said our cut saw needed a new carb to replace the prime ball. It's a commonly available part online that is used on at least 5 different models including our TS420.Upon cleaning the carb it wasn't even dirty the saw was starting on the first pull and running fine minus the prime ball of course you can't draw air in the closed system it can't create a vacuum. If they had just replaced the prime ball it would have been fine.Promptly went and retrieved the saw to have what I think is the owner tell me "I'm not talking to you" as I'm stating it's 10 dollars online and readily available, while trying to further beguile my elderly father, his son jumps and we start getting into a screaming match.There's a reason they put a wooden desk right in front of the door and his son ready to jump on people's case.Why so defensive you should ask yourself before going here.

I have had 3 things fixed here now. My riding mower which wasn t actually fixed. They said they would pick it up and fix it properly and I m still waiting for it. The woman said that I wouldn t want to pick it up when it s raining so why should her delivery person. But I served in the army most of my life and we worked through all weather. So she was wrong to try to accuse me of being a person with excuses why I can t work that day. And she was even more wrong with her snotty attitude towards me.My weed eater. Needed to go back. Second time shortly after getting it fixed.My pressure washer. Still shooting smoke out and leaking oil. Which it wasn t doing that before.If this business actually picks up my mower and fixes it right. I ll change my review but until then don t use this place.

I am reluctant to even give 1 star to this business. The secretary Sandy is one of the most unprofessional, selfish, and nastiest people I have ever dealt with. We did have some dealings with the tech and the person who picked up our lawn mower and they seemed professional, but we will take our business elsewhere after our experience with Sandy. Our mower was supposedly repaired, for us drive it about 30 yards and then the cable to the deck on our John Deere broke again, this time not at the deck, but below the console. I fixed this after calling their tech and he instructed me on what I needed to look at. My girlfriend went to talk to Sandy and try and be nice and talk to her but she laid into her stating that she knows that we need our lawn mower fixed and we will get to it. They did not call us when they said someone showed at our property and they knocked, when we were home. Why they could not just pick up a phone and let us know that they were at our door. To make a very long story short. Stay away from these guys! they are extremely unprofessional and do not know what customer service means!

I give 0 stars !! As you can see, very poor ratings. Rude people that don't have a clue as to what they're doing. Some parts prices are double than other places. They did not have my parts, but said they did after I drove 18 miles !!!

Battery died. Had picked up for repair. Was called that it was NOT battery-- needed greater than $400 crankshaft repair! Did agree to this service. When called to check on when my riding mower would be returned to me, Sandy said "I've got a question for you. You think we'll bring it in pouring rain?". (It was not raining in Homosassa where this shop is and where I live.). She also said they had to charge the battery, because it was "left outside.". Of course I wondered if I really ONLY NEEDED a battery and got an unecessary engine repair!! Mower returned to me and service paid for. First time mower turned on, smoke came from engine, engine radiated great heat and stopped.

Had my push mower and my Rider in for tune ups...with them picking up and dropping off for 25.00 charge, Two weeks later and 250.00 charge...push mower still doesn't Start and nothing was done on it and rider runs a little better but tires where very low on air, I was charged 49.95 for a battery I did not need ...bought a new one two months prior. And I had to renta trailer to pick them up because I was told no one can bring them back intill later the next week I saw the 4 star rating and really don't understand why...Make sure you get everything in writing on what will be done...Lastly thanks for Ripping me

UPDATE: im not sure how this place is even open. I support small local businesses but the lady that owns or runs it is just HORRIBLE! Rude to customers is an understatement.Several people warned me that the lady that works there is not very knowledgeable and is VERY unfriendly. Took a chance anyways and I wont do that again. As soon as we walked in she was rolling her eyes and talikng to us in a very unprofessional manner (no customer service skills). This lady seems to hate her job. Why would a part for a $60 weed wacker cost $100 ? Makes no sense. My advice -Stay away unless you want to experience her unpleasant negative attitude and pay way too much

The rudest women in Homosassa, and that"s saying something. My husband stopped to get a small inexpensive part. The woman had the door blocked and wouldn't let him in and ask rudely what he wanted. She told him you can't buy that and tried to convince him to buy something more expensive. He had no problem getting the part at tractor supply and they weren't rude and nasty. Spend your money elsewhere.

After dealing with them for 5 years, I had an issue where I had to change back to my older mower and needed a belt. I tried to get her to take a new belt, that I had bought there two weeks ago, back and just exchange it for the belt I needed for the old deck and she accused me of trying to cheat her.They will not get another Penny of my money and I will tell everybody don't waste their time going over there. And I agree with everybody else the woman behind the counter needs some people skills!!!Update,,. Went to rural long to purchase the belt I needed....$11.00Cheaper for same belt...$11.00-$2.50(Gallon of gas) = $8.50 savings and didn't have to get called a cheat!!!=

If I could give a negative star I would. The lady that owns this store is so RUDE and was cussing at me because I didn't have exact part number on my belt so she started cussing and threw the belt down on the counter. I told her we don't speak that way in front of my young child. She just rolled her eyes. Her son's came up and they are nice but this lady needs to retire. She is NOT NICE and obviously not happy. I would never expect a business owner to act and speak the way she does. I won't be returning due to the way she treats and speaks to people.

Very rude lady. They had 2 of my generators since before hurricane season. Took 3 months to tell me what was wrong. Then she calls and leaves a message that they were going to throw them away if I don't come and pick them up. Great customer service... NOT.

Bought a used lawn mower here. It was fully serviced and the gentleman who runs the place took great pains to insure everything worked ... in fact when I went to pick the mower up, we noticed the drive wheel was not operating correctly so he repaired that straight away. A few months later far outside the 30 day warranty, when I noticed the mower was hard starting and would stall, I took it back and the gentleman quickly determined my issue was water in the gas and drained the tank and replaced that with fresh gas and replaced the air filter while I waited. The the best part ... the charge for this was $0!!!!You have a customer for life!

Family owned small engine and repair shop. Great prices, and usually hard to find parts found here. Customer care feels like you're dealing with family! If they don't have the parts your looking for, they can get it within reasonable time. All around great place!

I was referred to them by my friend and they are awesome. Was told by another mower place I needed over $120 worth of carb work but when I went here was told what the problem was and bam fixed. I will always go there and tell anyone who asks to go there.

They have the best prices in town by far. Always fast and friendly every time i have a repair done. They are stocked with everything I need and more. I wouldn't take my lawn mower or weed wacker to anyone else but S&R Mower Repair.

The lady at the counter started cursing and name calling when I asked a question regarding a part. Obviously hates her life. Very abusive. Never going back! Couldn't believe the outrageous behavior! If I could gove it a minus 10 I would.

Very helpful and handy place for mower blades. Our blades got worn down so very quickly . This place matched what we needed right away and got us up and mowing again at very little expence.

I took my lawnmower there to be serviced and the lady was very rude and told me if I didn't pick it up by the time she said, She was going to place it on the for sale list.............how rude is that. Also when I got it home it ran worse than when I brought it in there.

There crocks sold a friend john deere lawn mower lied to her telling her her lawn mowerwasn't fixable all it was the drive linkage now this is a 70 year old women who just lost her husband in march and don't know anything about lawn mower.so the owner tell her maybe she should part it out the lady who owns the lawn mower tell the shop maybe it can't fix it let me know well they took it upon there self sell this lawn mower with calling the lady .well yesterday she call the owner of the shop telling i want lawn mower back owner of say ok but no lawn there it's been parted out she told her that in my book is stealing and selling with out consent now the owner tell police lies she gave lady 150 witch she lied she handed her 50.00 yesterday for a john deere lawn mower real dirt bags .I'm going states attorney office and they can arrest them. If anybody bought a john deere in the past 90 day please call the citrus county police department
