As a full RV campground with some cabins available overall this is a great place to winter over. Very tight spaces, limit your ability to open up outdoor canopies and offer tight sitting areas. Some finishing spots in the lagoon area and easy access to open water. Nice pool and clubhouse as well as a very nice restaurant in the park. Overall it is very nice but extremely packed.Safety: Easy to walk around and with low speeds easy to feel safe.Walkability: Open areas around dock and over the lagoon.Food & drinks: Restaurant and bar located in the resort. Real food stores and Walgreens just 2 miles away by car.

Rented a cabin for a weekend trip. It was much more than I expected. The cabin was clean, stocked with linens, and dishes. The cabin had AC, tv, internet, cable, full size stove, and refrigerator. It was located right across the street from the water which had a boardwalk that boats could be tied too. You could also fish from it. There was live music on Friday night when we arrived at the marina along with excellent food. In the morning, we had breakfast at the community center which was also very good. They have a pool and dog park. Close to several state parks which have numerous outdoor activities. The people and staff were friendly. The location is close to convenience like grocery stores, pharmacy, and fuel. I highly recommend visiting you won t regret it!

This could be a really nice park but it is full of seasonal & full timers. They give you a paper with rules that no one follows & the management does not enforce. The neighbor had no room to park because of all the stuff he had in front of his Fifth wheel (despite the rules) & he tried to park us in as we tried to stay in our site. We picked a site on the end to have a little more room. There was more than ample overflow parking at the end of the row. Most people we met there were really nice peopleThe Marina & the Tiki Bar were nice with lots of activities, drinks. Bands & food on weekends there or at the club house. They even had a dragonboat team, which really surprised us.The only places you can access the river is at the Marina. The full timers or seasonal are crammed in there like sardines with anyone traveling put in spaces in the middle of the campground between them. The sites are a free for all.Do not make reservations if you think you are unsure. There are NO Refunds.I am sure some people like it, but it was not for us.We have crossed this campground off our list & put it on the "Never Stay" list.Nearby activities: Lots of restaurants In the area.Food & drinks: Wings were very good. Tiki bar was a positive.

We ve gone as 3 different families, the past 4 years- all renting the waterfront cabins. We can bring the boat and dock it right in front of the cabin. There s a restaurant to eat dinner at with live music within walking distance from cabins. There s a pool & huge inflatable slide the kids love. There s a remember jungle gym type of park for the kids. There s a hall they serve good and inexpensive breakfast at each morning. Able to do laundry. Pet friendly. A huge public fire pit with swinging benches. Honestly it has everything. We love it here!!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed staying at Nature's Resort this past month. I rented a cabin with 1 bedroom, fully furnished. It's really nice and worth the price. Better than staying in a hotel for a month for about the same price. The people are friendly and there's lots to do. Fishing in the lagoon, from the marina or rent a boat for the day. They offer games in the clubhouse, the bar, live music on weekends and ice cream socials on Saturday and non-denominational church on Sunday if you want. The weather is fantastic. I will stay again or find an RV and live here permanently.UPDATE ALMOST 2YS LATER!I bought an RV and live here permanently! It's the best place to live where everyone feels like family. I plan to live here for the foreseeable future and hope to see you at NATURE'S RESORT!Nearby activities: Come see the manatees! All winter you can see momma's and the babies in the Crystal River springs. Take one of the resort pontoon boats and take the short boat ride down the river.Safety: Leaving your door open is ok, we all watch out for each other.Walkability: You can walk or bike the entire park on the paved roads.Food & drinks: Full breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings and full dinner menu at the bar (no liquor) Friday and Saturday night.

Nice campground - with boat rentals and an on-site bar! A lot of small sites - but some nice ones...

I always have so much fun at natures resort! They have it set up in a way that make each different area kind of like it s own subdivision. There is so much stuff for the kiddos between the park, pool, water slide, and jump thing. They rent golf carts for reasonable prices and I love that they have the restaurant right on the water with their own boat ramp. Each night they have something going on for those who live there or are staying the week. Super friendly crowd that s very easy to make friends with. Dogs are allowed too and I love the availability of dog parks here.

We had a wonderful time, Room was clean and comfortable, boat rental was reasonably priced. Staff was friendly. We Only had 1 issue and that was the oven wasn't working correctly and our dinner Friday night burned up and our breakfast Bisquits Saturday morning burned. Hopefully they'll correct that problem.

The staff is very friendly. We have stayed here for a week at a time through the last few years. This time we stayed a month. We just love the people that come here. We have made a few friends. There is plenty of things for the kids to do. I can say, it's not one of those campgrounds that are quite all the time during the day. People are always doing something here.

It appears as if this is mostly a seasonal campground as we were stuck in the furthest dirt/grass area possible and way to close to another camper. Do not recommend for larger campers. Would not use rickity picnic tables and glad we didnt stay long but....kids would most likely have a blast here.

I reserved this Camp ground for 3 days.. When I arrived I hooked up their main power 50 amp 1st thing and it blew the breaker located at their pole and 3 in my coach. Reset it again and blew the breaker inside and out. I checked everything and my automatic transfer switch Was blown from the power supplied at the park. I had to leave and drive a 100 miles back home . It was going to be in the high eighties for the time I was going to be there and that would have been no fun with no power to run my air conditioner. No transfer switch you can't use their supplied power or my generator. Cost me $500 in repairs. I will not stay there nor recommend it. It's very crowded. The spot was small where my coach hung over a foot and a 1/2 It was so tight I can hear the lady sneeze next to me.

This was a very nice place to stay. I was surprised at how big the park is. I was also surprised that there are a lot of residents in the park.We rented a couple of cabins for our stay, they were fairly clean, had cookware and dishware. We had a great view of the river, and the boat launch, and waterfront bar.The staff was really nice and accommodating, with a very cold day when we arrived we were very glad to see that there were space heaters in our room. The older A-frame cabins have been remodeled, and frankly I found them more appealing than the newer models. Our cabin came well appointed with towels, washcloths, a kitchen towel, a microwave, a toaster oven, and all of the pots and pans and silverware that you would need for a party of four. One drawback was the loft in the cabin did not have furnishings. We had expected a bed for more sleeping, but the second level was just an open area. There is a great little park, and also many amenities that I'm sure lots of people will enjoy.
