Honest, reliable and knowledgeable.Very good people that stand behind their work. Captain Jim has been working on my machines for years, he always gets me out of a jam fast and is a great guy. Very thankful for this local small business that cares about there customers.

I had a new lithium battery and new gears installed in my Club Car. The entire process was completed fast with a clean install. Pick up and delivery was included for free and my cart is running awesome!!! Highly recommend Capt. Jim !

My wife and I shopped Citrus, Hernando,, Pasco and the Villages and could not find a cart that we wanted. We stopped at Capt. Jim s and found exactly what we were looking for. Capt. built our cart from the ground up exactly as we wanted. PERFECT! His follow up service is great. 5 star shop.

Jim I read all the review on you bit I wanted to give you a try.We got the golf cart back this afternoon and took it for a ride. The right front wheel was wobbling. Doug took it a part. You put new parts and put the old part in. Going to club cart tomorrow and put all new part even with my bad shoulder.Do not call us as we won't do business with you. I am sorry I have to give you a bad report. We did not believe the bad report and try you.

Dudes got everything.. new and used. I'd like to buy our old manager in the Reserves golf cart and drive past 100x. Just don't like her.I'll be back asap for it!!

Our first golf cart. Checked out 4-5 other golf cart places around Homosassa. Crazy prices or super high pressure. Captain Jims was not. Talked with Sue, she told us the range of prices and why. We told her our price range and she called us when a cart fitting our pricing came in. Captain Jim's delivered the cart so we could test it while waiting on some parts. the service was honest and any upgrades they did were beyond our expectation. Don't go anywhere else. Thanks .

Absolutely over Charged me and ripped me off. . Put on parts that I did not need replaced, because they were brand new. When I questioned him about it, his response was it wasn t original equipment part so it could have been bad .!!! Really. My cart wouldn t run because the starter was bad, and this scam replaces my forward/reverse switch.($189), that I know was not bad. Plus, battery, $119, starter $288 and key switch $106. Plus 4 hours of labor. So after spending $1097 , I get my cart back. Also, his pick up and drop off for free, isn t free. You pay the price for it, trust me.!!!

Capt. Jim was great to work with!! As I explained to him what I was looking for he was able to direct me to a cart that would meet our needs. Super great experience and would recommend his business to anyone needing a golf cart. We bought a custom built unit that he built a few months ago and are please with its performance so far.

This guy is a CROOK.!!! Look at all the negatives he has. Trust me when I say, do not do business here! I m sure they will post a reply about it s a reputable business, and all that, but regardless of what they say, they are crooks.!! They worked on our cart 2 times in the same month and replaced the same belt, put a new battery in it which it did not need, and a new starter the 1st time which it did not need, and it still doesn t run. $969 and still can t use the cart.!!!! If I could give a negative 10 I would .!!!

With building a new golf cart. All our needs were met and small details that weren't, Captain Jim made sure! That all was taken care of! No worries my friends! Great people working for him and Captain Jim as well! Hometown is the way to go! Keep money local is great, especially from family-owned businesses!

Got a flat tire on our golf cart so I called Jim's to see if they could come pick it up and fix it. The tire was off the bead. Not only did they pick it up but they fixed the tire AND pumped all the other tires AND delivered it all for no charge. You can't get better customer service than that. Highly recommend!

I just have to praise this place! My 84 yr old dad has dementia, just found out. His golf cart quit 4 days ago and he was so depressed, he uses it for everything as it has dump trailer. I tried so hard to get him a drive belt for this 94 cart. Had to order everywhere I called. Then I happened to call Capt Jim's, omg I went right over and got it. My Dad is so very happy. God bless you guys for making his day

No power on cart, called Capt Jim. First time in, $400, told me I needed my battery charger rebuilt, batteries were good. Returned to me and died again 2 days later. Second time in, replaced the batteries for $1000 (no refund on battery charger rebuild even though it was not the problem, not even a comment about it). Next day, no headlights. Third call, I explain the situation and Capt Jim says, in order to get the headlights to work, just reach up under the front bumper and jiggle the wires. He said, I did that and the lights come on. Yes, he did say that to me. Capt Jim never mentioned to me anything about my headlights having an issue but he tells me he knew knew about it but just didn't say anything. I can't make up this stuff. Going elsewhere for golf car repairs....Edit 8/6/19: Interesting how he would not call me back after I left multiple messages, but he texted me on my CELL PHONE at 2 am last night when he received this review, and now he writes this long reply. I';ll let your potential customers decide if they want to go through this.Edit 8/20/19: I was told my headlight wiring issue required a $700 part to repair. Melissa's Golf Carts in Brooksville repaired it for $100. I really think you believe what you told me. But again, you were wrong. Not a $700 repair. I would have been ripped off another $600 by you if I had told you to go ahead and repair it. Unbelievable.

My husband Ray took our motor off our cart to Trackwick's and he was to rebuilt it, instead he completely distroyed it beyond repair, and wouln't return motor. Ray went to Capt Jim with our Friend Kyle and ask for his help, we didn't have a motor anymore to get rebuilt. Capt Jim sold us a rebuilt motor for a reasonable price and didn't charge us for not having a core to turn in, we had to replace other parts but Capt Jim got out cart back up and running at a reasonable price. He will be our go to guy from now on. Thank you Capt. Jim for helping Ray and Kyle out on this repair. You are the best!!!!

Does not deserve even 1 star#!#! Told me he would convert my club car from 36 volt to 48. Put new batteries in, left burnt wires, charged $2000 . Wouldn't run.Not asking changed v glide and cellnoid $500 more still doesn't run. Do not go there!!

Capt jim took my club in for replacement of a $4 rubber bumper between motor and transmission. From that point on the cart seemed to self destruct. How ever after replacing the controller and installing a new motor and fixing a brake problem, the 03 club cart is back running better than ever before. So I am satisfied with the repair.

Very satisfied with the work done at this company! Fast and reliable and would definitely take my golf cart there again if needed! Capt Jim got us right in and we left the same day with a motor swap out! You re the greatest!!!

If I could have picked ZERO stars I would have!!!! Sold us a golf cart just before Christmas for our kids, it drove onto the trailer and NOWHERE ELSE! He refused to take 10 minutes to look at it on Dec 27th. Kids Christmas was ruined! Not to busy to take our money though! The guy is a crook! Avoid this business unless you want to be ripped off big time!!!! Cart was for the grandchildren! Has not worked since it arrived.

Absolutely, positively, the worst place you could go. They are scam artists on a mission to steal your hard earned money. They will sell you junk and then tell you its your fault for buying it. They have no integrity and refuse to make good on their word. They will sell you faulty merchandise and not offer any bit of help with issues that arise. Take your business elsewhere. You'll be happy you did. Scum.

Whatever you do do not do business with jims golf carts on grover cleveland blvd they are thieves and liars. I will be protesting in front of their biz everyday until i drive them out of biz!!!!!!! these people are the biggest thievs in citrus county do not take your cart there unless you are prepared to be RIPPED-OFF

Had problem with club car ds quitting while running ,these guys come pick up repair and deliver back to you!! They are honest ,reliable and get you up and running again! I recommend them for all your repairs,and never feel overcharged for work. Great people!!

Had an issue with my club car went there and fixed my cart in one day!!! Even hooked me up with a better charger and the price was great!!! Thanks for help and fast service!!! Very pleased and would recommend!!!!

Captain Jim built a custom dual purpose cart for me. Turned out Great. Wanted something for Hunting Camp and Homosassa cruising. Silent, stealthy and still does 27 mph. Thanks, Jim.

Told us the batteries were shot so we bought 6 new ones golf cart still doesn t run after spending over $700, rang him back up multiple times but he said he was too busy to look at it, not to bust to take our money though, avoid like the plague.

These guys are great, excellent service and very prompt. Jim got my cart in quickly and found the issue. I have no complaint about his company, highly recommend.
