I brought my 2012 Mini Countryman in to address several issues, considering its mileage well over 100,000 miles. All problems were efficiently resolved within the budget and timeframe. I interacted with Patrick, who managed my project; he was incredibly kind and courteous. Additionally, I had the chance to chat with the owner, Frank, who struck me as a stand-up guy. I strongly recommend Preferred Automotive They're honest affordable and knowledgeable.

I don t normally write reviews after an experience but this one was too bad not to share! Pretty horrible !! First, it started with an estimate, I agreed to that number, came back and was handed a price sheet nearly $100 more than i agreed to pay. (I only agreed because it was the number it was). They said they would fix the issue and took off $15 still absolutely overcharged me from the estimate by almost 70bucks. I was told my car would be ready by 2:30pm. 3pm came 3:30pm, 4 pm nobody called me and I wasn t trying to bother anyone if they were still working. so just before 5 pm (closing time) I called to see what the deal was it was ready and just sitting there and no one bothered to let me know like I didn t say I needed it asap and it was very important to me to get as soon as I could. Don t recommend coming here unless you re trying to get screwed! Wish there was a 0 star option

I have used Preferred Automotive three times and have been very pleased with its services. Specifically, the mechanics fixed an A/C leak, replaced my radiator, and changed my spark plugs. They are professional, honest, hard-working, and committed to getting the job done right at a great price. Further, the employees have a strong attention to detail and work efficiently without rushing. The shop has a great process to ensure your car receives the attention it deserves. My family and workplace has taken all of our cars here for maybe 15 or so years. Always a great service. They explain in detail what is needed and what is priority. Frank the owner is a good guy and his dog is so shy but sweet.

What a great team of employees that work in Preferred Automotive, Inc. I had my radiator fan system replaced in my 2007 Chevy HHR and saved $100+ in comparison to the quote that I received through Pep Boys. They had it done so quickly and professionally the same day. In fact, they were able to quote less (than Pep Boys) on all needed repairs that my vehicle is approaching in the near future. And Pep Boys even charged me $47 for the quote.A few days later I drove over to Preferred Automotive and asked them to add air to the 2 (low pressured) front tires. They are truly in need to be replaced but I need them to last a little bit longer. It was raining heavily, all their garages were full of mechanics working on customer vehicles. But they took care of me without losing their pace. What a Team! Thanks Preferred Automotive. See you as soon as possible.

Frank and Preferred Automotive are my go to with any car questions/issues. The entire operation is run seamlessly. They are truthful and honest and never have I once felt as if I was paying for anything more than the work that was done. I refuse to take my cars anywhere else but with Frank. I have utilized preferred for close to ten years to service my work vehicle and personal vehicle. Frank and his crew our professional and honest and provide great service at a reasonable price. This is not a shop that looks for faults or jobs to do and is very upfront about what work needs to be performed. I highly recommend this business.

As Jerseys Rants I do a lot of Chairity Work and cars are a big part of it.. My 1972 Impala and 1976 Trans Am need a place that can keep them running .. This picture is my Impala at the Walk MS Function at Boca Raton.. And thanks to them we made it to the event and all was well

I have been going to Frank at Preferred for over ten years. He, his son and staff are the best! I come from a family of mechanics and I do not trust just anyone to work on my vehicles.From working on my work truck to my Jeep they have pretty much fixed everything that could go wrong. Brakes, alternators, engine repairs, tires & rims! You name it they can do it.Thank you all for helping me maintain our vehicles and keeping us safe on the road. You are considered family in my book and I will always refer my friends family and strangers to your shop.Thank Frank Joey Johnny Barbara and the boys! After given an estimate of $1900 by another repair shop to replace my coolant reservoir, a leaking hose and do a flush I contacted frank for an estimate. He gave me an honest estimate of $240 labor and parts included. He fixed the car and had me on the road by the same day. He was professional, kind and communicated with me through everything. I have been going to this place to get my car serviced for about 20 years. Frank, the owner, is always friendly and extremely knowledgeable about auto mechanics. He is honest, and always gives me a correct diagnosis of any problems. The repairs are always completed properly within a reasonable amount of time. The repair facilities have greatly expanded and they are always busy, which is a real testament to the quality of service they provide.

This shop has a well-deserved five star rating. I I had an aftermarket TRD rear sway bar installed on my Toyota Tundra as well as an oil change today. I was quoted a very fair price for the work and I was extremely happy with the service I received. Frank, the shop owner, comes across as a very honest and decent man. This was my first experience with Preferred Automotive and it will most certainly not be my last. I plan to have my truck serviced by Preferred every 5000 miles and also rely on them for any additional work in the future.

I don't come anywhere else if I have to get my vehicles over there no matter the distance I do. All the techs are knowledgeable and the best. I've worked for other garages and they are no where near as professional as Preferred. Frank always gets me out of any rut and is always reliable on price. The biggest endeavor when I move is not having Preferred Automotive down the street from me.

Great shop with honest folks. They're usually not overbooked when I go, so they can help me out quickly. I noticed a slight vibration at high speed after they rotated my tires. I took it back a few days later and they re balanced them at no charge and got it done in only 20 minutes with zero resistance or attitude.

The staff was professional. The business was clean and organized. My 2013 Dodge Durango overheated on I-95 N . Expensive damage but I feel the prices were fair and most importantly they work fast. Extraordinary place, HIGHLY recommended. Very trustworthy, professional AND pleasant people here. Found this place by reviews online. That's important with so many shady mechanics. They got my truck in the next morning with a jammed schedule. Fixed over over a dozen problems on my truck all in same day. Stayed open 1 hour passed their closing time just to make sure I was able to take my truck home same day and give the rental back to save money. Awesome place, will be taking all my auto problems and needs here from now on!

I am a first-time customer of Preferred Automotive as of November, 2013. I recently bought a classic 1968 Mustang coupe and devoted quite some time trying to find a shop that could deal with this kind of vintage vehicles. I found out about Preferred in the web and was impressed with their good reviews so I decided to give them a try. I took the Mustang to the shop and Joe became my primary point-of-contact. I trusted him with the task of making the car as safe as possible as far as suspension and brakes goes and also to fix some pesky leaks from the power steering system and differential. I got an estimate and the work started under a budget. However, as it always happens, surprises came along the way and the bill grew up considerably. That�s something to expect when you get into old cars I guess. It is as expensive as health care no doubt. Oh well. Anyways they did a great job and were always reachable and kept in touch with me. Once I save some more money I will be taking the car to them for some other repairs... no doubt. Thanks Preferred.

I have been coming here two years now after my last mechanic went out of business. This is one of the most professional automotive repair shops that I have ever used. I am so happy that I found them. They are honest, clean and fast. Frank the owner is a real nice guy and genuinely is concerned about vehicles. I highly recommend Prefered Automotive!

Frank Weiss "IS" Preferred Automotive. His experience and knowledge as a master mechanic and shop owner is surpassed only by his integrity and honesty.He has been servicing all my personal family vehicles as well as my commercial fleet for over a decade and would not trust anyone else to keep my family safe.With age and experience, wisdom will convey.YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.Don't save a few dollars somewhere else to lose something much more precious and valuable.

WOW and WOW - it takes 2 wows to describe Preferred Automotive. They do excellent work and keep you informed about the work being done. What I liked the most was how they go beyond the call of duty. They have helped me with situations that other repair shops would not have done. Most shops act like they are to busy to do even the small things for their customers. Frank is one of a kind along with his entire staff. Please try this shop you will not ever want to go to another shop- YOU WILL BE SPOILED. I wish there were more than 5 stars to give this shop but I was limited to 5. I usually do not write reviews but you have to when you get the service I got. TRY THEM TODAY for a honest and trustworthy job on your auto.

Not the cheapest but for sure the fastest. Had major work done that for my usual mechanics would take at least 3 days; these guys finished in less than a day and a half. Also very good about contacting me to see what work I wanted done; a combination of scheduled maintenance and repair, some of it I opted to do myself. I only wish they had a few hours open on Saturday for pick up/drop off. These days auto shops keep banker's hours.

Frank and his crew are very honest, competent, and personable. They have been servicing my car and my husband's car for many years. I highlly recommend them. Put your car in their capable hands...you will not regret it.
