I am posting this review after almost 4 months of having visited Honest1 Auto Care due to an overheating issue I had with my Lexus.I can honestly say my car hasn't had any overheating issue since I brought it in on October of 2023.Now, the reason for 4 Stars is because I DID have to return the car the same week of getting it back, due to the overheating issue not being totally resolved.I acknowledge that there is a 24 month warranty, so I didn't have to pay for turning the car in again, but you guys did charge me again for an issue that could have been easily resolved the first time.Overall, I am satisfied with my Lexus and it hasn't overheated since. Thank you Honest1!

Their Honest name is an honor for their services. We took our mini van with a lot of issues and they were very honest about the estimate and repairs. Very prompt response and very good communication. Highly recommend it.

I brought my S10 truck a couple of times for the clutch and brakes and everything worked ok, but I paid almost double what my new mechanic would charge, these guys at A1 Honest in Hollywood/Davie, FL are good mechanics, but they're awfully expensive.How ever, my last visit, in November of 2020 was for a new starter,I told Justin that I needed an AC Delco Starter, because there's a risk of non-compliance with GM vehicles and alternate electrical parts.(Basically any electronic part that interacts with the Computer Module that IS NOT an OEM AC Delco part is at risk of having issues with the electrical system)But when I get my truck back he tells me that a Bosch starter was installed, it was $409... ! For an after market starter..?Apparently they didn't want to have a parts place drop off an AC Delco starter, and wanted to get rid of a Bosch that they had laying around.It was ok for the first few months, then my wipers stopped working from time to time.Then my Lic. Plate lamps would go out intermittently, then my dash lights would quit on me . And the Dash Cam would shut off for no reason.I'm thinking a ground issue, I traced the wires, changed the ignition switch, still had these issues.Then the 40 amp ignition fuse blew, and again two days later and then every time I turned the key to charge the starter.That's when I knew it was the after market starter that A1 Honest installed.I purchased a re-manufactured AC Delco Starter and installed the damn thing myself , laying on my back in my driveway, for a fraction of the crazy price that A1 Honest would have charged me , and like magic, everything works fine now.-OH, and on another note:I was reading other one star reviews here and saw something interesting.An older review by Alexander G. (5 years ago) Says his oil pan mysteriously started leaking after A1 Honest changed his oil , says his oil pan bolts were all loose.Funny, because I too had this same problem, shortly after my last time at AI Honest.My oil pan was dripping with oil. From a truck that has never burned a drop of oil, or leaked a drop of oil, but now has the oil pan bolts are very loose.Suspicious..? yes. But there's no way to prove this type of tampering with a vehicle without a video. So I just torqued down the oil pan bolts and it's back to clean and dry.And, As I said my last visit to A1 Honest Auto was a little over 3 years ago, perhaps now, with the new management there is an improvement. But I'm not going back.

I got an oil change at another entity and a few days later noticed oil on my driveway so I took my car back to that same entity and they told me I needed a new oil pan. I didn't trust them so I decided to go somewhere else for service.When Honest-1 checked everything they informed me that my oil pan isn't the issue it was something else.Ramon with the good hair and Louie was candid about what I needed and the cost. As a woman I appreciate them being fair and not overcharging me. I truly felt like I've known them for some time because they are very welcoming and professional even on days that is extremely busy and overwhelming.I had an incident that I had to bring the car back and Louie's response was candid which is rare. They fixed the issue without any additional charges or blaming me for causing the issue.I will definitely recommend them because they are true to their name.I only do reviews if the service is extremely BAD or extremely GREAT!

Honest 1 auto care is truly that, honest! I moved to the area a year ago and had been getting my car serviced at Toyota under warranty. After my warranty ended, I went to Toyota a few more times but just wasn t happy with any aspect of the dealer. My friend recommended me to Honest 1 after they helped her diagnose an issue on her car that another auto shop caused. The second you walk into the building you re greeted with happy smiling, representatives! Every person in there is polite, friendly, and caring. They go the extra mile in every way from making the customer feel comfortable, to diligently providing auto services. My car was completed within the same day or dropping off (without scheduling an appointment) and it runs incredibly. I highly recommend this place!

The staff was friendly knowledgeable and the place had a feeling of repair shops up North. The prices are reasonable and competitive to other repair shops. I felt confident that the repair was done correctly and professionally. Will go back for other mechanical issues with my vehicles .

I recently had my car repaired and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and they kept me informed throughout the entire process. The work was completed on time and the final cost was exactly what I was quoted. My car looks and runs like new! I highly recommend this repair shop to anyone in need of quality service.

I would recommend Honest-1 Autocare to others needing reliable auto mechanical repairs etc. Markus did a great job of explaining the work and keeping me updated.

Awesome service. Team was very helpful/professional and respectful. Diagnosed the issue with car, fixed timely. Service rep "Lewis" was fantastic to deal with.Kept me informed of repairs status.Very respectful and knowledgeable.Highly recommend Honest1 for service needs!

I feel that Honest 1 is trustworthy and I always get my oil changes there. Marcus took the time to explain details to me such as why it s a good time to get my filters changed. I appreciated his help. I will be back!

Some of the best customer service I've seen at an auto repair shop. They were super respectful, listened to my concerns and checked my car quickly. They also explained their findings clearly and printed the information for my records.I know I'll come right back here if any issue comes up with my car in the future. Would definitely recommend!

Took my car in for a nail in the tire. First time using them. Found them on Google and saw the reviews. I tried them and the reviews were correct. It was a pleasure doing business with them. Tire was fixed in a reasonable amount of time at a very fair price. Everyone was great to deal with. My wife and I spent our 50th wedding anniversary waiting in the showroom. I would certainly recommend them

It s a nice place to take your car to get fix. They had a really nice vibe plus I stayed all day with both of my kids because they have a nice kids play area and it made it more easy to get the job done. Also they were really helpful about my doubts about the tires I was getting and were open about getting the brand I wanted! Thank you to all the guys there talk to any Lewis Ramon or Angel they will take good care of you and your car.

I ve had the pleasure of coming to this location twice. Everyone was so welcome and nice the place definitely stands by their name. It can be intimidating going to any auto repair place but they made this a great experience. Especially Ramon the one with the great hair Thanks guys!!! Highly recommend if you need any work done on your vehicle.

I appreciate the turnaround time. The things that bother me most, is the labor $ 321.75, parts $87.86, 3 gallons of coolant $74.97 and shop supply items. Most repair shops deduct the diagnostic fee or at least meet you halfway. I got $20.00 discount, man I hope it didn t break the company ??? Unfortunately, most people don t trust Mechanics, they have a horrible reputation. Please remember, things are really bad for all. Especially older people on Social Security !!! You will be faced with the same dilemma !!!????????

Great service! Marcus was kind enough to squeeze me in when they were already overwhelmed with customers considering its the weekend. Fast service too! They replaced my car battery in an hour. Definitely recommend

We took the car for alignment and when we picked it up the car was not well aligned. The amazing part was Luis s, one of the owners, reaction. He called us and asked us to bring the car back because they are proud of their job and offered to do what needed to be done for the car to be properly fixed. They not only aligned the car again but changed the four tires without us paying a penny more. They really do anything needed to be done for you to be happy with their work. Thank you, Luis , again very much .

Great Shop. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. Luis treats you with up most respect and consideration. If you have an European luxury vehicle, you can trust this shop to know the brand and using OEM parts. Honesty, customer care, dependability, fair pricing, are some of qualities I had the opportunity to experience while my vehicle engine was replaced.The manager (Luis) is top notch. Extremely helpful and very honest. Jason is also very efficient and professional. I recommend this shop to any vehicle owner that needs regular maintenance and or major work being required.

I have to take a moment to recognize the team at Honest 1 Auto Care. Getting out of work on a Wednesday afternoon, my tire pressure light came on. Turns out I had a screw in my tire. My husband immediately said drive straight to Honest 1 . He has had exceptional service there many times before. Right away I was greeted warmly by Ramon and he assured me they would repair my tire within 30-40 minutes. I got to sit and wait sat in their clean and comfortable lobby and watched some TV. Before I knew it, Ramon let me know that his technician Brian repaired my tire so I could drive home safely tonight. As a woman, car issues can be quite stressful. This has to be the absolute, hands down best service I have ever received. Thank you Ramon, Brian and the entire team for being absolute Rockstars!

Just had oil and break fluid change at this location. Markus have been a huge help and managed to service my vehicle very quickly without an appointment. My car will need new break pads soon so I m definitely coming back. Overall 5 star service. Dmitry

I absolutely loved this place. I took my husbands 2016 Jeep Wrangler in for service. Amazing customer service and fair pricing! I will never bring our Jeep anywhere else. Worked with Luis and Angel. They treated me wonderfully and took care of our car with such pride and care. Jeep is running amazing. Trust me folks - this shop goes true by their name. Thank you Honest 1. Tony & Josh

Angel and staff were great. They were knowledgeable and patient with my questions and concerns. They maintained great communication throughout my truck in the shop. Work was done in a timely manner. Will definitely visit them with any other issues in the future.

Luis and Ramon were very courteous and professional. They did an excellent job in helping me fixed the leak in the vacuum pump of my 2016 Chevy Colorado. I like this shop and will definitely come back for future repairs I would need, and the two year warranty (24000 miles) that this repair shop gave me is a 2 thumbs up. Keep it up guys! Thank you!

I'm very happy with the work I had done. I just had an oil change and I had the rear differential gear lube changed too. They flushed my differential. I didn't know that was necessary but I changed from conventional gear lube to synthetic.

I was told all four of my O2 sensors were bad. A shop of this size should have a scanner with the ability to show me that Bank One Sensor One is bad. bank 1 sensor 2 is bad. back 2 sensor one is bad and so on. Eduardo didn't advise me of this. I'm no mechanic but I'm old enough to know all four sensors don't usually go bad at the same time and if so you should have the ability to show me this. Thank you for your time good luck in the future.
