A place like this is rare in the Miami Dade area. I had Ahmed and didn't make an appointment. He said he'd help within half hour and he stuck to his word. My tire was leaking air and he was very honest about the potential outcome and explained very thoroughly the reasoning, as well as my options. The prices are very reasonable and the service was excellent. The Brake and Muffler Authority helped replace the lights that went out. I'm definitely coming back for all my auto needs. Thanks for everything.

Steve and Oscar are very nice,friendly and professional business owners. The offer good service for the money you pay. They delivered the car when promised.I am glad they are so close to where I live.

I have been using Brake Authority for the last 2 years and I highly recommend this auto repair shop. They are super efficient with their work and satisfaction always guaranteed. Everyone from the owners Steve and Oscar to the mechanics ( Jay is the best) are fantastic.Prices are very reasonable!Thank you guys and keep it up!

I have always bring my cars here, it s been about maybe 4 or more years and several different cars. These guys are always happy to help, never in a rush, they will charge fairly, quick service. Never have I had to go back because they messed up. Always great work. I just went to jiffy lube and the guy there said take it to brake authority, I m like I always go there, he s like those are my guys . If you want a job well done take your car here. They are currently working on my 2013 charger and found the problem. I m very pleased. Thanks guys keep up the good work!!

These guys are the best. Both Steve and Oscar are true to their word and really honest. I got a lot of work done on my car in over one year. I had brought my scion IQ for brakes change which they did it in way less $$$ and much quicker than what dealers quoted. They diagnosed my AC problems. Today, they changed my battery within minutes (before I could even finish my snack). They do what they promise and don't charge a cent over and do NOT treat women as stupids (unlike most garages and repair places do). I feel totally comfortable bringing my car here on my own as Steve is always honest and never pushing to get extra work done. Look no further.

Wow!! Needed our van looked at since our brakes weren t working. We were actually at the shop behind Brake Authority and we weren t getting a good vibe. So I called Brake Authority & told them what was going on. He said sure bring it over, we ll put it on the lift right now. Needless to say we were treated VERY WELL. In & out in 2 hours. Price was VERY REASONABLE!! Thanks guys!!

I came and got New motor in Jetta 2011 and brakes done Steve Did a great job. MY CAR Runs like New and I didn't have to return for Any problem Great Guys, Great customer service. Thank you. Great reasonable prices and it's worth your money because they get Done RIGHT the First time. it's so many mechanics you have to keep coming back and forth because your car keep giving you problems NOT HERE WHATEVER STEVE TELL YOU HE IS GOING TO FIX HE DO IT AND DOES A GREAT JOB .

I spent $10,500 here between three trucks. I don t know where to start complaining about their work ethics. Great customer service. They put the wrong thermostat in my truck. Two of my trucks they did the bearings only on one side so you come back with issues for the other side. I would come here again. Highly recommend. I will never take my car to the dealership again. Fast, efficient, courteous and very fair in pricing unlike dealerships. They also have a computer that can read every car for electrical issues which I was told by my dealership that few have when replacing my sensors. I'm extremely happy and will continue to use their service!Had to return for tire sensors. Again, amazing and reasonable and fast! Thanks guys! And thanks Oscar for going to pick up the sensors!

I have no words at how thankful I am to Steve and Oscar at The Break Authority. I was rushing to get packed and leave for the airport. I was putting everything in my trunk. My cellphone fell between the trunk and my backseats, falling underneath it. I couldn't reach it. I passed and stopped by their shop. They were about to close and they stopped and helped me. They were so kind, honest, caring. They took apart my backseat and put it back. I got my cellphone back and they also cleaned the backseat.I know in today's world it is hard to trust people and especially when it comes to services, people feel they will be taken advantage of. I tell you, you DO NOT have to worry about that with The Break Authority. You can trust them, you can have faith in their prices and their work. They are an extremely ethical.

Very angry with this place, first I go and they tell me to come in 1 hour and then when I return they don't want to serve me and they put someone who wasn't there before me and they told me that I had to wait much longer, I don't recommend this place , lousy place.

I went here twice with my car in less than one month, after the second time, 4 days later my car stopped at the middle of a highway. Then I went to a well known and recommended mechanical business, and they told me that the car needed maintenance. Seriously that s unbelievable because my car entered to your business twice for a month, making me spend a lot of money, and having 0 results.

The service was absolutely great. They were able to quickly identify the problem with my car and fix it once and for all. I had taken this car to several mechanics and spent a great deal of money without success, but the Break Authority guys took care of me. The price was very fair and the turn around super fast. I wholeheartedly recommend this shop to anyone needing an honest and fair mechanic.

I have been to The Brake Authority several times for car repair and maintenance. I can only say that this is the best car repair shop in the area. They have true professionals working there, who really know what they do. I have known the owner Steve for over 30 years since he started at Brake World in Miami shores on US 1 and I was in high school. I take my BMW here for maintenance and repairs. He has a great crew starting with Oscar who is the best auto tech I've even seen. I come to this shop regularly and aside from having great prices, I feel that Oscar does the work on my car as if it were his own. The VIP treatment is always there, I never have to wait long and I always leave happy. I recommend them for any kind of work, they are A+ and just a few block away from l-95!

I stopped today at this place to ask for an oil change quote for my car. I spoke to a gentleman named Jay, who explained clear and simple what my car needs it and how much it will cost.To my surprise, I realized that for years I been paying double of what the real cost was. I am not a mechanic so I usually follow the recommendations of the service adviser. I am truly impressed with the honesty, excellent customer service, and timing of my visit. I highly recommend it, thank you very much Jay you got a new customer.

I went to brakes and authority referred by another auto shop who couldn't fix my problem. I appreciate his sincerity!Someone at brakes authority greeted me pleasantly and asked for my complaint.Surprisingly he asked to test drive the car. I said surprisingly, because 3 days ago I went for maintenance at my car dealership and I asked my representative to ask his mechanic to please test drive the car to what the mechanic said: no!So this gentleman from brakes Auth. Quickly offered to test drive and I was happy already with the service although no service had not been rendered.The guy quickly pointed at the problem and said it's easy to solve.Back at shop the mechanics verified the problem, the same guy that test drove my car gave me a quote, I asked him: when can it be fixed and he said now!I was impressed by the diligence of the shop trying to help me get my car fixed and getting it ready within today. That was a plus!I appreciate the promptness in which my car was serviced. I appreciate the test driving experience and the explanation of my potential problem.I appreciate that my pet was welcome into the shop.

These guys are amazing. I had gone to a different place first for alignment and the other place told me I needed to replace the tie rods and had quoted me $500. I told them I was going to get a second opinion and that's what brought me to Break Authority. As soon as I got here, they immediately put my car up on the lift and showed me everything that was going on. They explained everything clearly, especially the fact that I did not need to replace my tie rods, they were in good condition.I did get my breaks replaced at a good price.I would recommend them.

My husband has been bringing our cars here for years! If you want honesty and good service this is the best place to bring your car! Just moved here from New York. Shortly after I got into a car accident and happen to stop by this shop, Steve was a tremendous help! He went out of his way to help me fix my car for a great price. His mechanics took their time to bring it back to great condition. I would highly recommend his service to any. I my self will only be taking my car to him.

We brought in our out of state car for a muffler and resonator replacement. Pricing was fair and work was performed in a timely fashion. No upselling or gimmickry. Good work and fair pricing. Honest businessmen.

Oscar, Steve and his crew offered fantastic, accurate and quick service. My vehicle needed a decent amount of work as they were fairly priced as well. I would strongly recommend their team!
