PEP BOYS of Gulf Breeze is a life saver for car maintenance. They definitely care about their customers and fix your car right. They saved me from having to buy a new car. I can t begin to say how much I appreciate their knowledge & experience and the time they took to evaluate what was going on with my car. They coordinated with O Reilys & got parts with a phone call. Those parts were lifetime guaranteed parts so those parts didn t cost me since I had purchased them before. It was truly outstanding service. My car was completely fixed within hours. I cannot praise them enough for such a tremendous job. Huge thank you for their dedication to their job. I definitely appreciate them & can t even express how grateful but I am. I highly recommend taking your vehicle to them if you need any repairs at all. Don t put it off & worry over it because you can trust them.

Gary and Devin went over and beyond to help me out close to closing time. They helped me get back to Atlanta safely. Every employer should have employees of this caliber. I highly recommend them if you need any work done on your vehicle give them an opportunity to help you.

We visited Pep Boys in Gulf Breeze and the gentleman at the front desk was so attentive and really honest. I had a flat tire and he patched it for us without trying to upsell us on another service or a new tire. We really appreciate the honesty and the options he gave us. We will definitely come back to a trusted friend.

Brought two tires from Tire Rack and picked this installer from their web site. Went there on my scheduled date/time but the tech refused to install just two tires because then all four won't have same amount of threads (no kidding). So I took my two new tires to Walmart and they had it on the vehicle in less than 30 minutes with no appointment.

i ve trusted these people with multiple of my families vehicles over the years! they re always so kind and informative when it comes to understanding what your vehicle needs. great customer service!! i ll never go anywhere else!

I had a ball joint replaced 3 weeks ago. I came apart while me and my wife were driving and could have killed us. How did they react when I asked them to fix their potentially fatal incompetence? They acted as if I was inconveniencing them. Do not trust these people with your repairs.Update: Took the car to another mechanic (Precision Auto). It is their professional opinion that this was the result of an overtightened retaining bolt (Read: improper installation). Within a week of bringing this to their attention, Pep Boys mailed me a check. These people will only act in a decent manner when faced with the risk of a lawsuit it seems.

Got a nail in my tire, called Pep Boys and they got me in the next day. Devon was professional and helpful, and Andrew (my technician) was fast and descriptive with everything, taking pictures of other items that needed attention on my vehicle. They had me back on the road in an hour after replacing the tire, giving me an alignment, and a full inspection. Great service.

We will not be back ... ever. Called this past Sunday to ask if they were busy, told no one there. Showed up and the guy at the counter told me it would be at least two hours (he had to send his guy to lunch first). Was told to make an appointment for the next day. Made the appointment and my wife shows up before the "appointment" and was told it would be a minimum of 1.5 hours ... for an oil change. Called them and they said their "appointments" are a first-come time and they take a minimum of an hour ... to do an oil change. We've now wasted two afternoons ... Never again. Stay away.

Sold me 2 front tires when I left my truck was super wabble so I had to bring it back and they said oh we don't have the machine to do it right. Why sell me a tire you can't install correctly. Putting me and my kids in danger. Then tells me to go somewhere else and we'll reimburse you. Ok are you going to reimburse me for the 2 extra days I had to take off of work? Never going back to this place and will make sure to tell everyone how incompetent they are.

Unbeatable service! My children and I were on vacation when my tire when flat. I was able to make an appointment quickly and they helped us right away. The staff was great, would definitely recommend!

8/22/2023Drove from Charleston SC to Gulf Breeze visit sons and grand kids my Ram 1500 developed a whining noise. Called the Dodge dealer was told no app. tilll mid Sep. Son told me about PEP boys. Took my truck the next day found the problem and fixed it., reasonable price. Drove home 500+ miles home no problems. Recommend them if you are in need of auto repair.

I m from out of town and my 9 year old car was making some unusual brake noises so I took it to the Gulf Breeze location. They did a thorough job of checking everything and providing images and details on recommended services. In addition they were very pleasant and informative. I would not hesitate to take my car back for service and will recommend them to anyone I know.

This Pep Boys location is reliable, honest, and fair. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend. The only reason for the 4 stars vs. 5 is that since their work is good, sometimes (not always) the wait is a bit long. Just plan on leaving your vehicle with them, or plan for the possibility of a wait, and you won't be disappointed!

Phil and Devin are absolute goats, cars are always finished very fast and the communication is great. Very friendly people that take pride in their work. They are consistent with it too, which is why we choose them to service our entire fleet every time.

Devin was a huge help with my tire puncture. Got me in quick and straight forward and honest about what needed to be done. Doesn t get better than that. Will be back and recommend anyone looking for great automotive service, Pep Boys is a good place with good staff.

Very efficient and professional tire shop. I would have given 5 stars except when I got my emailed receipt there were several "suggested repairs" listed that said I refused them. Actually, nobody mentioned the additional repairs to me. I probably would have considered the additional work.Upgraded to 5 stars. When I got my truck back after new tires were installed I lost a wheel cover the next day. I told Pep Boys and when I expected the usual excuse Phil said "we'll replace it". And they did!

Made an appointment on line for 4 new tires and an alignment. Somehow I neglected to pay attention to the appointment specifics and soon found out that is was for a drop off. The manager let me know that they had other "catch up" work that needed to be completed before they could get to my vehicle. I decided to wait until my work could be completed. I was kept informed utilizing their on line application. All work was completed along with a multi point inspection of my vehicle and recommendations for continued service. Was discounted due to military service. A caring and professional attitude by all. I will be back...

Devin and his staff were very friendly and outgoing. They took great care of me. I came in for a flat repair and they took care of it in a timely manner and communicated with me during the whole process. I will defiantly be a customer for a life and recommend this location to anyone.

I am soo grateful with everyone here. From customer service to the mechanic.Today is Sunday and I couldn t find a mechanic to work on my car, and the part I needed to fix would take many days to arrive which would leave me without a car for days.These guys are amazing, and their great service left me in shock. I never wrote a review online before, but since they went above and beyond to help. I would like everyone to know about them, and the owners of the store to know that they have an amazing staff.Thank you very much,Jose P.

Got the $99 90 day warranty alignment. Was not told about shop supply fee until checkout. Not sure what supplies they could ve possibly needed for an alignment. They also started conducting a free inspection without telling me ahead of time and without my consent. I saw the technician taking apart my air filter box from the waiting area and went and told the guy at the desk that I did not want any free inspection done. I was told they were required to do it. I insisted that I did not want it done and declined the service and still got some push back before they stopped the free inspection. I was glad that they got me right in and the alignment was relatively quick. I just was not happy for the free inspection done without my consent and for the hidden shop supply fee .

Helpful and friendly staff. I have had two emergency tire issues in the past couple of months and they were able to get me in and get the problems fixed quickly. I appreciate it!

We dropped our car off for new tires. They had the tires put on in an hour . Tire look good and everything they did was satisfactory. Will come back in the future.
