I had a great experience at University Collision. When I had questions about the process the owner took the time to talk with me and make sure I felt great about the work that was being done. Patti in the front office, the adjuster (whose name escapes me), and Frank were all fantastic. The paint looks beautiful and I m really happy to have my car back so quickly.

I recommend this business as a body shop for your vehicle to get serviced. I got rear ended and they fixed and replaced parts that was needed in a timely fashion. They also stood in communication with me on any updates that was currently happening. They made my car brand new again like nothing ever happened. Also my explaining to them how caring I am with my vehicle as a detailer they took that into great consideration and took care of my vehicle and made sure everything was safe and ok. I really appreciated that. I got my car in the same condition as I left it. Also I have to mention the staff is amazing very professional and respectful and understanding along with the owner and his family. University collision told me my vehicle would be ready in 30 days. They texted me a week before it was suppose to be done and said everything was good to go. The day came for it to be done and it was not complete. They said it will be done the following week. I was ok with it. They sent me a text 2 days before it was suppose to be done and said it was on schedule to be complete. Once again the day came to have it finished and it still wasn't complete. So here were are at 6 weeks instead of the 4 they told me it would take and my truck is still not complete. When I asked when it would be done, someone at the facility told me 3 days. When I called 3 days later they told me it would be another week. My insurance rental was used up and I had no vehicle to get to dialysis, because these people kept telling me it would be done and it wasn't. It ended up taking them over 60 days when they promised me it would take 30 days. I finally got my truck home and I noticed a piece of trim they forgot to install on my window. I took the truck back and told the owner who came out to look at it and he told me it probably flew off while I was driving and I know for a fact thats not what happened and they just never installed it. He lied and told me he would call me when a new one came in and they would put it on. It's been 6 months and I haven't heard from them and now it's going to cost me 300 dollars to get it replaced. I would never get my vehicle repaired at university collision. They are liars and tell you one thing and do another. Very poor business and the own takes no responsibility.They did refund me 200 dollars but by the time I paid my late rental fees and deductible I was at over 800 dollars. I've thought about filing a small claims to get reimbursed some of this money that they lied to me about since I still have the text messages they sent me, but I haven't as of this date.

This is such a great shop. Patty, Tim, Frank and Patrick were super nice and helpful every time I needed them. The work was done quickly and looks brand new. Very impressed and happy I chose this shop for my repairs.

They did excellent work on my front bumper my driver door and hood also added new lights and did wonderful paint job my car was in accident and they made it look new would go back again if needed and recommend to anyone else

They seem to do quality work. But...and I mean BUT...there were several issues along the way. Permit me to elaborate:We took my wife's 2020 Mazda CX-5 to them upon the recommendation of our insurance company. The car had right-front end damage from a parking lot accident. The shop contacted us to bring the vehicle in on October 8th, which we promptly did. I don't recall if we were expressly told that the car would be ready the following week. But I can state unequivocally that we were given no indication regarding what was to come.In mid-November, I phoned and spoke with the owner and I asked why the repairs were taking six weeks, not one. He explained to me that they were waiting on a part - the front bumper cover. The delay was due to a shortage on the part of Mazda. I never received a good response when I asked why we were told to bring the vehicle in if the shop did not have the required parts. To his credit, the owner gave me the name and phone number of the parts distributor in Jacksonville. I phoned them and asked about the parts shortage. They, in turn, referred me to Mazda.In mid-November, I was finally able to initiate a "case" with Mazda. This really has nothing to do with the body shop. It was a Mazda issue. But why am I, the end customer, dealing with the manufacturer, not the shop? We finally got our repaired Mazda back on December 6th.Again, the finished product looks good. So, no complaints there. But I still can't understand why we were asked to bring the car in if the parts weren't in-house first. It wasn't some obscure hidden part; it was the front bumper cover - the largest component and the most-obvious cosmetic piece. And why was it up to ME to shake the trees to obtain the part.The kicker came when it was time to pick up the vehicle: The lady in the office, Patty (very nice, by the way - the best part of the entire experience) informed me that debit/credit cards are subject to a 3% surcharge. I can accept that; many businesses do this. I didn't want to pay the $15 fee. Then Patty told me that they do not accept personal checks. That was the kicker. After all of this aggravation, I had to drive into Gainesville to hit the ATM at Bank of America to obtain $500 cash to cover my deductible. That really left a bad taste in my mouth.Hopefully, I won't need body work again any time soon. But if I do, I'll look for another shop.

I don t think I ve ever left a review for anything my entire life but this place deserves it. After being rear ended, I brought my car in to be repaired by these guys. Not only did the repair the trunk and make it look like new, but they went above and beyond by touching up another dent I had that had gotten quite rusty and fixed a broken exterior door handle essentially free of charge. They gave me updates on my car every couple of days, we re timely, professional, and incredibly personable. Got my car back looking like new. This is an overdue review on one of many positive experiences that I have had with this shop. I have been in the sales and management side of the auto business for just over 22 years, and similar in the RV industry for the last 6 years. My first experience with this shop goes back around 2014 or so. My dealership just traded for a car that had been in an accident with significant repairs and paint work.Three people that have what you would call a trained eye were barely able to tell that the car was damaged, knowing the Carfax and the owner informed us otherwise. Let me say that my family as a whole seem to have bad luck, wether it be deer, or careless other people. This shop has repaired at least 4 vehicles associated with my family or I, and have always been above board and though not always timely, have come through close to the original provided ready date. With that overdue praise out of the way. I am hoping to pick up my truck tomorrow that was, via text, mentioned that would be ready June 30th. I received a text on June 27th telling me the pick up date was pushed back to July 12th. As it turns out that pickup date would have come and gone had I not taken matters into my own hands. I have been lied to today, when I walked in with a part that was on national backorder a part that was $16 folks, and told that part had just become available, and was on the way. LIES! There will be more to tell after tomorrow and this 5 star overdue review may change. And changing it is. Due to a breakdown in communication on the behalf of University Collision, Patrick and even Frank jr. I incurred an extra $630 in rental fees, and again keep in mind it could have been way more had I not found the initiative to find the part myself and deliver it to them. They had the nerve to tell me the part was not on backorder anymore and they could readily acquire the part, which was also a lie. Steer clear of this place, and if your vehicle is there being worked on, I'll say a prayer for you. Almost forgot.... Whoever the technician / painter is that worked on my vehicle this time is most definitely not the same person(s) that earned all of the praise that I was singing at the beginning of this review. The job was the subpar to say the least. Gaps in the fenders, damage to my grill and pooling of the paint. By the time I picked up my truck and saw all of these issues all I wanted to do was get away from that place and never ever let them touch any vehicle for my family and anyone else I come across that's even remotely thinking about going there.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

They're finished my car repair which is on time and good but need to caution, cuz they're drove my car under repairing. My car mileage in is 10881 when i to get my car turn to 10978.there is almost 100 mileage different.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERETook my Disabled Vietnam Veteran Father's truck to them, they had it for 3 weeks over the estimated time they made my father come get it before it was even ready bc they had missing parts on back order(understandable but the vehicle should have been kept until completion.) we took it back and they called us to come get it the weather stripping was missing and the hood wasn't aligned so we had to drive 40 mins back to the house for nothing they took the spare wheel and jack out and left it for my 80 yr old father to put it back under his truck. That right there is what p!ssed me off the most about this place knowing he was in a wheel chair and just left the big tire for him to put back upHad I not been there for my father to inspect it, they would have ripped him off. Would not recommend. They took 2 months to fix the vehicle, constantly extending out the repair date. They gave it back to me with a non-working trunk and backup camera. Those things were working prior to dropoff. They refused to take responsibility for their mistake. Please stay away from these guys.

Incredibly professional work and staff. Top Notch. I am a repeat customer over the past 3 years on two different new vehicles damaged by a fallen tree limb, and the other vehicle, extensive scratches, rock through the grill, and other. Top of my list for accommodation and staff.

Wow. Just wow. In a world where customer service is becoming exceedingly rare, UCC goes absolutely above and beyond to care for their customers. Patrick, Who was overseeing the repairs on my vehicle, was so kind and helpful, And it was clear he genuinely cared about doing Right by his customers. I got many updates about my car even when it was a complicated situation. He wouldn't rest until my repairs were resolved. I will recommend this collision shop every time. I took my car in for some minor damage on the front (friend backed into me) and on the left rear (hubby ran over something). Both were minor damage but made me unhappy with the appearance.I received a very reasonable estimate for both.When I took my car in at the appointed time (Monday morning) I was informed it would be finished by Friday afternoon.I was very surprised they finished on Thursday morning and the actual price was lower than the original estimate.They did a BEAUTIFUL job on the repairs and my car looks brand new. When I got it back this morning, they had detailed it! What a nice touch.If I experience any future issues, I will be taking my vehicle to them.I HIGHLY recommend this business to anyone.I drive a Lexus RX450h. The work is superior!!!Service: Body & Trim

Will give them 0 stars if possible. I should ve known from the beginning, when they changed the drop off date. After we dropped off the car and they gave me a estimated completion date, I started to get text updates moving the completion date to a later date. This happened 4 times and the last excuse was the parts they received (they ordered them) were wrong. No one answers the phone or it gives you a busy sound. Will never take a care there again or recommend to anyone.Service: Painting

DO NOT TAKE YOUR WRECKED CAR HERE!!! It was terrible they took four months to fix a simple repair and then charged 8,600 for it and wracked up every possible charge they could and fixed things that were not even broken then test drove my car and ran out all of my gas (I had over half a tank when dropped it off, when I got it back I had 5 miles and had to rush to a gas station) and when I received my car they had test driven so badly that one of the symbols on the rim was popped out and they had to mail me another one!

6 years ago University Collision put my Charger back together after a wreck. The job they did was phenomenal. Fast forward to this week- I caught my front bumper on a curb and popped it loose. Without a second thought I reached out to University Collision and they said bring it in. Not only did they get it fixed same day, Frank noticed my tire pressure warning was on and checked my tires and topped them off. I was so pleased that they still take such good care of their customers. They will continue to be who I go and I highly recommend them for their quality of work, pricing and customer care. Steve was exceptional to work with. He was honest, polite and extremely professional from the very first visit, including the preliminary estimate visit. He provided upfront and fair pricing, routine updates via text/telephone and unbeatable timely service! My front bumper replacement/paint job was completed much sooner than I could have imagined. He and his team even went above and beyond by washing and detailing the interior of my vehicle. Essentially, I received my car back looking like new. I wouldn't look anywhere else for future repairs and will be recommending them to anyone and everyone. They just don't make businesses like University Collision Center anymore.

I don't normally write reviews, but since I chose them because of their outstanding reviews I felt I was responsible to acknowledge what was well deserved.I had a very professional experience from beginning to end. They were courteous and efficient. They were very knowledgeable and dealt with my insurance company and had an estimate within hours of inspection. University Collision Center was recommended to me by Tires Plus, and they repaired my pretensioner and buckle. Frank went above and beyond to help me and provided exceptional customer service. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly, kind, and helpful. The repair was a very good deal- $450 less than what the Ford dealership quoted me. This business is a first class operation. The staff is very professional. They were polite, thoughtful, and concerned about my situation, making things as convenient at possible. The repair was excellent. When I picked up my car today, it looked new. That is amazing because I've been driving my Honda for seven years. I will recommend this business to all my friends.
