I unexpectedly got screws in both my passenger side tires. I brought my SUV in first thing Wednesday and Lee was more than accommodating. I was expecting to wait an hour but he had me in an out in 20 minutes by putting on my spare and plugging the other tire. He also pointed out dry rotted rubber on my control arm and gave me a quote. He answered all my questions and taught me a thing or two as well. I haven t had service like this in a real long time, and I m extremely grateful that Lee and the long haired fellow that was working by himself were there to assist me. I hope these 2 individuals are being compensated appropriately by their manager.

Made appointment. After waiting 1 hour, said didn't have tires I wanted so went with different tires. After waiting another hour said had to get tires from more than 30 minutes away so I waited another hour. Also told me I needed fluid flush. I had all fluids flushed three weeks before. Bathroom very dirty and out of paper. I just wanted 4 new tires.

Excellent, efficient service from an auto shop is shocking. The team at Tires Plus on W. University & 34th St were wonderful and honest. They could have sold me a new tire at list price but informed me that having road hazard coverage saved me from a high replacement cost. They also said to allow 1 hour for the work to be completed, they were done in 30 minutes. That NEVER happens!

Herbert Lee the service Manger is absolutely the best! Kind, hardworking, honest and incredibly polite. He immediately helped me when I needed service on my tires. I cannot say enough about Herbert you are lucky to have him at this location because he is the reason I would return.. The other staff was great as well!

Literally the best Tires plus I ve ever had the pleasure of being serviced! I called around 5:15 PM and requested a tire change service, and instead of telling me it was too late or that I had to order and wait for the tires to arrive, the manager, Aaron, just does the most amazing thing - he personally drove to the distributor to pick up a set of tires for me out of the goodness of his heart and helped mount them, too. Alex and Luke were also great! Very friendly and gave me nothing but smiles and respect. 110% recommend this place; don t even hesitate!Service: Tires

My experience here was horrible. From start to finish, 6+ hours for a 2-2.5 hour job. I'm not sure what's worse the filthy waiting area, filthy outside area or the extensive wait.

Amazing staff. EveRyan single employee has customer service skills. Very efficient and fast service. Smaller tires plus than other ones in town, but so worth it.

This store is fantastic! We came here without an appointment and they saw us immediately. They were very kind. Sometimes I feel like a burden at car shops because they re always so busy but this staff was warm and welcoming. I believe Adam was the front desk guy and he was super kind and helpful. He had our car fixed super quick and everything went smooth. I would definitely recommend coming here!!

Had to give one Star in order to do a review! I recommend that you stay far away from this location! I feel they target young students since its close to UF campus to get over on! We had a horrible experience, but I will also say I ve dealt with the Tires Plus on NW 39th several times and had no problems.My son had our car towed into this specific location because we d had a Starter replaced for over $500 in June 2022 and our car was showing signs of the starter needing to be replaced again. Manager Aaron at this location confirmed it was in fact the Starter and how the warranty for Tires Plus is a year! We understood that, however some parts that are purchased has a Lifetime warranty. Aaron quoted us $389(parts &labor) for us to have the same work done again with a discount for the expired warranty. Of course this didn t make sense we d be paying almost $1000 for the same job within a year. After contacting the Area manager Jeffrey, I didn t receive a call back. So, I decided to call the Vendor for Tiresplus to confirm the warranty on our DURALAST starter. Guess what?? The vendor confirmed our $364 starter does in fact have a Lifetime warranty It was explained by the Vendor we d have to contact TiresPlus for the work, but the part would be replaced n/c.Called 2 different TirePlus locations, that was able to look up our ticket and advised us we could bring the vehicle back in and have the work redone and only be responsible for the cost of Labor.Just to see what Manager Aaron s response would be to what the Vendor said I called him back advising everything that was told to me. His response to me was The Lifetime Warranty, only applies to an individual walking in to the vendor off the streets .So to be clear, I was charged over $300 for a DURLAST starter because of it having the Lifetime warranty but I ll only get the year warranty of the VALUCRAFT ($165 starter)!?! That makes sense in what world???Needless to say we were able to get the job done from a different Tires Plus off NW 13th and was very pleased with the staff and treatment. I don t recommend Tires Plus @University at all!! I don t know what kind of crooked, cash pocketing tactics they re doing, but STAY AWAY

When I visited this place we were shopping for a new tire. We told the guy we just wanted a new tire. He went on about how he could plug it and we told him AGAIN.Just replace it.He came back after 2 hours.He told us he couldn't plug it we had to replace it. He finished 5 minutes to closing time. The new tire is always the first one to go low. I will go to a tire plus again but not that one.

went in to get an oil change and their internet was down, they couldn t even pull up the price of the windshield wipers i was looking at, and it was STILL the best service at a car place ive ever got. they worked on my car anyway as Herbert kept us customers updated on the outage, and Bain was FAST and super helpful when i asked a million questions. kind, awesome staff :-)Service: Oil change

Service has been horrible at this location for the past two years. I got the impression that management turned over at that time -- before then I always had a great experience. Since then, each time I brought a vehicle in, there was a problem. For example, every time I brought in a vehicle over the past couple of years, they never called me to tell me the diagnosis -- every single time I had to call them mid-day after dropping off the vehicle and ask them what was wrong. In each of those cases, they never followed through on half the work that needed to be done. For example, they found an oil leak in one of my vehicles and recommended putting a blue dye into the oil so they could pinpoint the leak on a follow-up visit. I agreed to the plan, but they never followed up with me or told me to schedule an appointment. 6 months later when I went in for another issue, I asked them about the blue dye and they said they had no record of it. In another case, I needed a tail light cover replaced. They needed to order the part, so I took my vehicle home and waited for them to tell me when the part came in. They never called. The next time I brought my vehicle in to patch a tire I asked about the tail light cover. They had no record of ordering the part and needed to order it again, so I asked them to patch the tire and I'd get the tail light cover replaced once the part was in. When I went to pick up the vehicle, the tire wasn't patched and the manager had no clue about the tire patch. In exasperation, after 2 years of poor service, I told the manager that I didn't want any of the work done and that I would not come back to his business. He didn't ask why or even seem to care at all. He just said okay and handed over the key. In fact, one day later, I got a call from them saying the tail light was in! I about fell out of my chair. Even when I tell them I don't want the work done, they don't seem to listen or care! The only thing I can gather from all this is that nobody seems to communicate with one another at this location, so nobody knows what is supposed to be done. I'm never going back!

I have taken my vehicle here before and had no issues till today! Took my car in to be checked for the check engine light that came on. I dropped it off and later on was called and told it will be a certain price to fix but when I went to pick up I was told another price of over 100$ more! Saying it was taxes and fees. Was charged a diagnostic fee which I feel should not have been charged since I had my truck fixed with them at the end. Communication was horrible on prices and at the end I had to spend more then what I had . Would have never agreed if I was told correct price from when they called to tell me what was wrong in the first place! Will never go back because of this!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

2020 Camaro. Went in to have two tires changed and a front end alignment. Took them almost two and a half hours to change two tires. The car drove fine I just wanted to get a front end alignment done when I did they told me I had bench struts and the card been in an accident. When I left the car pulled to the left really bad I took it back and they told me it was because of the best strut. I insisted they put it back on the machine when they did they messed up the alignment and made it worse. The car never was in an accident and there never was a bent strut they just did not know what they were doing when they did the front end alignment. It was a waste of a lot of money and an entire day sitting around letting them destroy my car. Remember this was a car that was only 2 years old it was a 2020 Camaro. Offered nothing for compensation they didn't even apologize.

Have been a loyal customer for years. The staff is really friendly and good about remembering you and the work they have done on your car. Nothing but great experiences here. They are really honest about the work needed on your car and will try and help you save money if they can. They are usually pretty quick with standard services like oil changes and tires.

I have had my service performed here for over 5 years. This shop is professional, quick, and offers the best deal in pricing. They have seen my car from its early age of only a few hundred miles all the way nearly the 100k we re about to break. The staff is knowledgeable, nice, and respectful. I always recommend them and Tires Plus.

I called to get some information and the person who picked up the phone just stopped answering me. He just got quiet.Made the mistake to use their services to get new tires. It has not even been a month but they are always deflated no matter how often I put air in them.When you come back because another problem came up after they so called fixed the car. The person I dealt with hid in the back and sent some else to shoo me off their property with a silly excuse.

They were great here... went for a front end alignment and upon the free inspection they found major suspension issues...guys very honest.. explained everything to me about what needed immediate attention especially before they could even do my alignment..but with the many costly issues they gave me their estimate for all repairs as well as what needed to be done immediately and what I could safely put off for a little bit...honey and up front...most places would have told me I needed to have everything done immediately or an alignment could not be done...Very pleased with the whole deal...from the time it took to have my work done and the honesty of the employees trying to work with me so I would not have to come up with a super amount of money at once..they repaired and replaced the priority parts to get me safely back on the road and actually told me that's what they want to do is work with the people especially during hard times..They went above and beyond!! Exceeding thier reputation Totally recommend this chain as they do more than tire replacement and repairs...give your local Tires Plus a call they won't disappoint you!! All work was guaranteed!!A+ service and employees!!
