I waited an hour or more before I insisted they return my car. I went in due to see why my tire was losing air. My car was on the rack in the air with the hood open, and they were checking everything except why I was there. One of the employees was rude, they told me my tire was not repairable and I had to get another. I demanded my car and they refused stating I need to sign papers before I can get my car and keys. I then went to GOODYEAR, my tire was repaired for $30. It's a disgrace this Tire Plus scam folks who don't know any about cars. Shame on you all for doing this type of business. I will never recommend this company!!! Horrible!!!

I've had good experiences with this location in the past, and wanted to schedule an oil change for my car this week. Online there were times that, I was informed later, were past this locations operating hours and would not be possible to schedule for. When called about this issue, I told the worker over the phone that those sorts of hours would be my only available time and that, since I have a hectic schedule for the weekend and upcoming week, I wouldn't be able to provide a good appointment time at the moment. The employee would respond in a way that would seem understanding, but would then continue to steam roll me asking about other times and dates that we could move it to. I again politely told them I couldn't confirm a time given my upcoming schedule, and asked if we could just cancel the request and that I'd wait until I had a more open schedule. He refused this saying, "there isn't a direct way to cancel the appointment, no." Which is interesting considering I just called, spoke to another employee, and had it canceled in less than a minute. Setting up appointments must come with commission. This person was hounding me nonstop and lying to me over the phone saying, " well if you work 9-5 weekdays, what about your weekend. Couldn't you come in Saturday?" After I told him I couldn't schedule any other time this week. Ridiculously unprofessional and rude. It's like they weren't even listening to me, didn't care about my perspective as a customer, and just wanted my money.Needless to say I will be getting my car serviced elsewhere.

I was given great detail to extent of each repair and what to expect regarding the management of other repairs for my car. They took into account my financial status and tried to provide me with options based on the most important repairs. You can tell they genuinely care.

I had mine drop off the vehicle and they called him and said it would be about $650 and I authorized that. They then called back and said it could use some more work because it was leaking some oil and I said that was fine. I was completely shocked when I went to pick it up and all of a sudden my bill was $2,400! With that big a price difference I needed to know and be able to authorize that because the vehicle was driving fine except for the noise and that was not an immediate need and this is the slowest time of year for us so I would not have put that much money in it if I had known. Very disappointed with the poor communication!

I have had this Tires Plus store do work on three different cars over the past two years - only because they are located so close to my office. However, I will tell you that they never do the work within the timeline they say. And, they cannot be trusted. See the attached pictures, where they claim to have checked tire pressure on all tires and filled to 33 psi today. But, see that the moment I drove away the car shows each tire pressure is completely different.... I had taken the car in today for a saftey check because of one tire was registering low, and I was feeling something in the rotation that reminded me of possibly a nail or object in my tire. However, once again I left complexly perplexed and disappointed with the outcome from Tires Plus management. This is typical of what I constantly experience at this store from previous management. But, the staff was completely replaced recently by the corp office because the previous management was untrustworthy. However, the new manager is rude - and likes to argue. And, obviously the check boxes of their form is untrue. I plan to take my business elsewhere! I lost ALL trust of this location completely!

Excellent and efficient service!! This team stayed well past close to make sure myself and others were taken care of them. Extremely friendly and helpful, especially Kirby! Thank you all again and I will be back for future services.

I did most of my vehicles' repair work at Tires plus. Some of them I paid extra for the lifetime warranty ('cause I was going to keep the truck in the family). Now I'm being told that my warranty's will not be honored within my family. My daughter is being charged for work that is still under warranty. I don't appreciate that at all.

Give one price then change all of sudden for no apparent reason.Came for a tire to be put on and been here over 2 hours. And another vehicle came behind me is gone. .they trying to make money off people by loosening up things. We are a Mercedes owner only came for a simple tire swap on rim . Poor customer service. Will never come back. Corporate please reach back out. This shop needs to be looked at

Was in a very big rush to get somewhere and they had told me 30 minutes to get it checked. For a simple patch job (nail in tire), it took them 2+ hours to even check the tire, and were not very accommodating. Go somewhere else if you have the option.

Very unsatisfied with service at tires plus on 8th and 6th st in Gainesville Florida I purchased a battery last year that batteries cell went bad,took it to tire plus for the warranty they told me it was the terminals replace the problem still exists take it back tell me the battery was loose they tighten it up the problem still exists, went and brought a jump box from Walmart jumped it off for nearly a month then decided I was tired of jumping it off so I took it back to tire plus and for the same issue from the begining then they finally replace the battery get home then the vehicle would not crank again popped the hood checked out myself turn out the cables were completely off of the batteries terminals so I paid someone else to tighten up my battery. I will but be returning to this location anymore neither any recommendations... Horrible service there all around

I love this location on 8th Avenue. I actually have better experiences here than the location on 13th. 8th Ave has great personality, their friendly (always) and have great sense of humor. They are patient, never pushy. I will keep bringing my car to 8th Avenue.

Kirby was great--extremely helpful in getting my tires replaced. I accidentally registered for an appointment at a different location and he was still able to get my car taken care of same-day after 5pm. And despite dealing with a rush of customers, he was happy to answer all my (novice) questions.Every time I've been to this location, I've had a great time with both car service and customer service. Typical corporate shop trying to meet established goals by up selling the customers. Malcom is a very disrespectful shop manager,rude and ignorant behavior is him at his best. So do yourself a favor and call a local mechanic like Dan Kaye Automotive. Fifteen minutes away from Tires Less.

Walked in without an appointment to get a tire repaired as I had driven over a large nail and it decided to come with me. Had a great experience, the staff was very friendly, helpful, and guided me toward the solution of simply replacing the tire. I was back on the road within the day. Being new to Florida and not knowing car repair locations, Tires Plus was recommended to me by my dad and I am very glad he did. I took my truck in for service on Monday and was told they probably would not get to it today, which was no big deal. I even got a call from the manager stating they were unable to get to my truck today, but ensured me they would get to it first thing Tuesday morning. By mid Tuesday morning I knew what was wrong with my truck and by Tuesday afternoon my truck was ready for pick up. When I picked up my truck the gentlemen at the counter was super nice and friendly and reassured us since we are in the process of moving to Ocala that there are Tire Plus locations in Ocala and all I need to do going forward is give them my account information and they will be able to see the service done on my truck.

Worst place ever starting with the manager Malcolm!! Very smart mouth he allows guys who are only supposed to change tires and do oil changes do work their not able to do a guy name alex fixed my radiator and I brought it back up their the next day he told me that it was a rush job since I brought it in after �pm my was making a noise it was making before I brought it up there the day before so I asked the manager why did he allow the uncertified tech to work on my car he then told me that it was his store and he make the calls on who can do what!!!! So I had to take my car to another location only to find out it was put on wrong he took no accountability for it.... will be taking them to court soon,
