Tires Plus on 34th Street, Gainesville, FL quoted me 69.99 over the phone - so I made an appointment for my oil change at that price (Great price). I show up early for my appointment and while checking in; the gentleman at the register had me quoted at over 104$ (One of the highest prices in town) and didn't mention the discrepancy. Luckily, I asked him if my quoted price was still good (I couldn't see what he was charging, and wasn't provided a print out or estimate); he stated that the 69.99 was a promotional price, but he would honor it and change the quote back to the 69.99. The interaction felt very misleading, and didn't make me feel like I could trust these guys with my car; so I canceled and left. I am not knocking all of Tires Plus, or anybody else working there; but the gentleman at the counter really ruined my experience with the company. I hope you have better luck.

I only take my car to this specific Tire Plus! Each repair and/or service is completed efficiently. Nate and the staff there are always friendly and honest.

I'm extremely satisfied with the service, and the front desk people are always as nice as can be while still being thorough in explaining the work that has, and needs, to be done. Every time a friend or family member has something wrong with their cars, I always recommend this location.

Tire Plus was quick, friendly and cost WAY less than Jiffy Lube. Best of all I don't have to drive my car over the oil pit and be trapped in my car until they are done. Jiffy Lube became very unprofessional very fast.So Tire Plus has won my trust and loyalty.

Great place! The Manager Nate Macinness, helped get my new tires squared away quickly at a great rate. The tire warranty and free rotations now will ensure these tires last a long time. The alignment and new tires it is like a new car.

After leaving my car for many hours my car returned with more issues that I never experienced before like my car would not start right away, I had to keep trying turning it on and off until finally started and I was able to go on my day, I couldn t understand what was happening. I called another mechanic because I don t trust Tire Plus and he found that my gas plug was disconnected and so I had a gas leak and he fixed it. He told me someone unplugged it just enough to get it started but eventually did t run anymore. Beware of dishonest people working there so you have to keep returning to them. Also their prices are very expensive and they wanted to charge me $175 for a diagnosis, just to check the car, no way!! I go somewhere else!! So long Tire Plus!!

If I have an option to give 0 star, I would give them 0 star. Because I made an appointment 2 days ago, they told me they couldn't find my appointment when I went there. However, I showed them my confirmation email for the appointment. They finally admited that they forgot to put my information in their system. Then I asked what time my service (oil change) was available. They just told me that it should be several hours. Your stupid mistake wasted my time going there and coming back.

My wife collected her car from Tires Plus today with the air-conditioner not repaired because they ordered the wrong part. Those kind of things happen but then they took full payment of $1865.34 for completion of all work. That is unethical and believe they took advantage of my wife. They should have only taken payment for the work not done when it was completed. She has no documentation saying there is outstanding work. Again unethical indeed. I have filed a BBB complaint as well and will post on other forums.

Great shop to have any type of maintenance done! I brought in my car because it was smoking under the hood. I had a warranty to cover the part but my company wasn t trying to cover it. The manager Matt was extremely patient and professional and resolved my issue. Thank you for such efficient service!

My vehicle drives wonderfully now after my shocks and struts were replaced. The bouncing has finally ceased. The employees were all kind and professional and the price was very fair. Nathan ensured my car was ready on time.

Just be careful. I called asking for a quote of a full synthetic oil change. $70.00. I go to pay somehow my total is over $100.00 dollars now. I check the itemized receipt and suddenly the oil change costs $90.00. When I told them over the phone they said 70 they were like: oh that s the over the phone price.And I m paraphrasing but they basically proceeded to say: if you catch it, we ll change the price back to what we said over the phone.I saved 30 dollars by catching a scam they tried to play by. The man servicing me even smiled a bit because I caught the lie.

Tires plus on 34th installed an a/c compressor on my chevy equinox and did an absolute marvelous job. From start to finish professional courtesy certainly made my day worth the wait. Thank you Al,Justin and your awesome staff for a job well done.

I came in for my appointment to get my tire plugged. I waited almost 45 minutes under the presumption my tire was being serviced, only to be told 45 minutes later my car is too old ( my car is a 2018) and there's more than one nail so because of this they refused to service my vehicle. I haven't ever been told anything of the sort. This is wrong, I've witnessed older vehicles get serviced here. I was refused service for the dumbest reason. I'll never come here again and I'm spreading the word

Car was making a loud thumping noise when I was about to get on the highway to Tampa. Stopped in here and asked them to check it out and see if the wheel was loose. They quoted me 1300 to fix the "warped front rotors" that were supposedly causing the noise and the rear calipers that were causing the brakes to smoke. I drove it 100 miles home thumping all the way and got it checked out at a Pep Boys in Tampa and they said the nuts on the front left wheel were barely finger tightened on causing the thumping noise and fixed it for free. Avoid this place at all costs.

Waste of time. Went in for a simple oil change and was told it would be done in 1-1.5 hours.Sat around and waited and saw my car sit there. After an hour and twenty minutes I asked about the status and they told me it would be another hour.Ended up taking car and going elsewhere. Terrible service

Wonderful group of mechanics, they inform you of anything wrong with your vehicle. Nate is wonderful and will explain what is wrong with your vehicle and get you the best price and part for your money.

Nathan is extremely honest and trustworthy. He always fixes any issues to 100% completion and satisfaction, and is my go-to mechanic for any issues as well as routine maintenance.

Waited 2 hours to get up and ask for my keys back because they never even started on a routine maitanence check. Unfriendly staff and guy on phone was clueless as to how to make an appointment.

Had to get my car towed to tires plus yesterday. You know how stressful that can be!?! Car didn't get there till late afternoon and my car was fixed by closing. Kacey's customer service was top notch. Very understanding and pleasant experience.

REAL SCAMMERS!!!! Last week, our car's front lights were not working, so we took it for inspection and they told us that it will cost over $600. Oddly enough, they did not give the legal inspection report even though they took the examination fee, saying this is our special price for you. When we got our car back, we showed up to another service center and when we opened the front hood, we saw that the light bulbs were just sitting on the engine and the light wires were dangling in space. When we went again and said why did you leave it like this, we were told that we can't look at it now, come tomorrow. And when we went tomorrow, they said we can't deal with it again come tomorrow. We insisted and they looked and they didn't even take the blame without an apology, and they were never helpful. What they said was a complete lie and rude. When we took the car to the AAMAC electrician, they just said that the bulbs had blown and the lights were not working because the wires were inserted incorrectly. For just $60 (including service charge) we replaced all the bulbs and corrected the wrongly handled wiring. Good thing we didn't believe their fake statements and gave them 600 dollars. What kind of scam is this!!!Services: Electrical repair, Electrical, Oil change

I've been coming here for years and bringing all my cars. Kirby has been good to me. I took my car to get a patch cause I got a screw on the same day. My mistake probably that i came in in the last 30 min of the day. Well I got called out and Malcolm the service manager told me the tire was bad and he said the tire was flat when I came in. It was not. It was half full. The machine tore my tire and Malcolm with little customer service skills and with his attitude told me I was on the rim and he wasn't doing anything, told his staff to put the spare and practically "bye Felicia" me. I was livid. I got the whole exchange on my dashcam including the tech working on my tire... And guess what, I caught the moment the tire broke and the tech has the look on his face of someone that messed up. Clear as day. Malcolm lied to my face and put it on the paperwork that the tire was flat when it came in a wash his hands with it. Malcolm continuously was taking me as a fool with no vehicle skills. I have significant vehicle skills. Little did he know I was Motor T in the corps. He doesn't deserve the position that he is in. No conflict resolution kills, no willingness or even empathy for the situation. Zero. unlike me but, I end up cursing at him how outrageous this was and how he dismissed me. I work in the hospitals and dealing all week in crisis management with the Corona and this is how my day ends. This tire had 70% life. A 300 dollar tire. Gone. If they came at me that they messed up or whatever, fine. Stuff happens all the time. No big deal. Malcolm attitude from the gate... You're SOL.Yeah, my vehicles and I are not coming back with him there. I'm pursuing actions for these damages.Update: The store manager Nathan reached out to me and he went above and beyond to take care of me. He called me and asked me to go back so that he can see the tire. He was really professional and engaged. I really appreciated it. It meant a lot. He didn't have to do all that he did and I offered to pay a part of the service. He refused. He was phenomenal and did everything to rectify. I updated the rating to 4 stars.

Great service, friendly staff. Had to get a tire replaced on the way home to Illinois. Was able to get in at 5:00pm. Busy shop. I m surprised at how many services they offer. Very helpful.
