So I only used this place because I needed to get my company's vehicle serviced and fixed, and it was right down the road from us. BUT what a GEM! this is the kind of business that makes a big city feel like a small town. Not only will I recommend these amazing guys to anyone who asks me I'll praise them to the people that don't lol. They went above and beyond to accommodate our insane schedule. We gave them a tight window to get the job done, and in the end, they were waiting on me to pick up the vehicle! AMAZING place. I HIGHLY recommend. A complete stranger. Lol. Thanks again, fellas. I am very happy and I look forward to sending anyone I can to your shop.

Bought my 2015 ML250 Bluetec in for some much needed service. Prices are absolutely fair compared to the dealership (about 33% difference for work completed). They are a clean and professional shop, very courteous and prompt with regular updates.Completed a full transmission service (AT, transfer case, front and rear diff) brake fluid, wheel alignment, and fixed the shaking airbox that the dealership never corrected. Will definitely visit for any future needs!

If you own a Mercedes, new or old, and are tired of having your wallet emptied on repairs or tired of getting the run around on what's really wrong with your car, this is the place to take your car. I was first referred, quietly, by a salesman at Mercedes Gainesville, but I didn't have faith in him or the mechanics after many trips for the same problems. In 2017, a neighbor referred me to Star Imports--confirmation! I'm so glad I took a chance and I won't use anyone else, because Josh & the other techs know their stuff. Do your research, but I think you'll be pleased using Star Imports for your Benz. They do it all. Call and ask.Donna

Took my new to me (but gently used) Mercedes RV to Star Import Services for the Service B check (oil change, etc). From the first call, I knew I was at the right place. Great folks. Had my turbo go out on 2006 T1N sprinter, drove it for too long after and thought I did real damage. Star Import Services was able to get it in right away and Josh (their resident sprinter expert) was able to replace the turbo and give the whole engine a careful look. He seemed extremely knowledgeable and was happy to explain everything to me. Although I prefer to do my own maintenance, I will not hesitate to bring the truck back here next time something happens above my pay grade, hard to find a shop that really knows sprinters.

100% satisfied with this company. I was driving my 2007 Mercedes C230 back from NY and my wheel bearing detonated on I75. I had to pull off immediately and after reading reviews I called Star Import and spoke with Josh. I was able to get a hotel for the night and had the car towed to Star and went on my way back to Tampa. I had to wait a week (for parts) but Josh kept communication open regarding the repairs and they were able to keep the price of repair way, way below the dealership cost. I now have my car back, running excellent. This business is professional, very reasonable for repairs and close to the highway. Definitely worth driving 2 hours from Tampa to have our cars serviced from now on. -Frank

For many years, my son and I have been customers of Star Import Service of Gainesville. We are deeply impressed with their high professionalism and extensive knowledge of Mercedes-Benz automobiles, including the old timer models. The owner, Frank and also Josh and Tyson are THE BEST in the auto service business. They deserve five stars!

I use Star exclusively for my 06 S500. Rick is an especially talented technician with a lot of experience. He handled the replacement of the car's tranny and it's been perfect. Josh is also very good; I usually get him for the regular maintenance type stuff. Everyone there has always been willing to spend as much time as necessary to explain what's going on with the car, answer questions and discuss repair options. They're as interested in doing the job right without overspending as I am. That said, these are Mercedes, and parts and labor aren't cheap.A very trustworthy shop with good customer service and an excellent reputation. I would not hesitate to recommend Star.

They are great and I highly recommend! I've gone to the dealership twice for these issues and another mainly used import place and I can honestly say I will only be using them in the future. They didn't break my bank and were very helpful! Star Imports is the only service center for my Mercedes! We have been taking our three Mercedes to Star Imports for years. They are honest, professional, and ethical. Prices are very fair, and much cheaper than the dealership. They do business the old fashion way!

I brought in my Mercedes for service would cost more than it was worth fixing so I wound up buying a car from Tyler very very nice man can't say enough about the place or gentleman to runza I'll definitely bring my new car there!!!

They take the time to explain what is truly wrong and help your prioritize what needs to be taken care of as opposed to trying to sell you on all sorts of repair services. They are also very comfortable referring you to another Mercedes svc provider when they are unsure

This is the second time I have called on STAR Import Services for help. My wife had a Mercedes E320 that the "official dealership" gave us the wrong transmission oil for and STAR Import Services fixed everything after the dealership said it was our fault for not paying them to service the vehicle! Recently an employee spilt oil and gas on the backseat of my Mercedes GLS450 and again STAR Import Services were there, stripped the area down to clean and decontaminate and bring my interior back to new. Very friendly people, I couldn't ask for more.
