Friendly knowledgeable shop able to do a large variety of repairs from cars to trucks to boats and Marine equipment. The shop rates are fare and below most big shops. Local true honest old school business.

I was on vacation in Central Florida with my boat. I had filled the boat gas tank up with gas that had water in it-ruined the engine.I called several boat repair shops in the area and they declined to work on my I/O boat motor.Then I called a company Olympus Auto and Marine Repair Shop in Gainesville, Fl. The Manager Booras accepted the job and repaired my boat engine. He is very knowledgeable and professional. Reasonable prices. I highly recommend his services.

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. These guys charged me over $1200 to replace the carpeting in my 22-year-old 4-Runner. And that did not include the cost of the carpet. They had ME source and pay for the material. I can't really blame them for the material. But they do this for a living. Why make the customer order it? Does an upholstery shop not have a supply house that they do business with?The carpet fit poorly and the color did not match. Olympus told me that the carpet did not have the proper cutouts for my vehicle and that they'd have to use the old carpet as a template. This would take three additional hours worth of labor. OK. Fair enough. But over a thousand dollars? The $1200 charge was at least twice what it should have been.Spend a little extra and take your vehicle to the guys over off of 441 north of 53rd. I wish that I had done that.Service: Body & Trim

The guy refused to deliver the 5th wheel, even though he was paid IN FULL for everything. He had a lean on it, wanted us to pay over $500 for HIS lean!!! We canceled ALL the money, but he refuses to pay back the $561.60 in cash that was also paid.

I brought my boat there to have my carbs clean they were starting to gum up . The boat was running great otherwise. Every time I picked the boat up from there. I always had a new issue that I didn t have before. 3,000.00 later I realized they are the issue. Bring your boat there on your own risk!

Great guys They are the only ones in the area to service Smart Start interlock devices (God BLESS them!). Tomas is great with the customers and very tolerant - I always had to come in with my four kids They have a small fenced in area with picnic table which proved to be very helpful if waiting for service completion. Boris runs a tight ship and is a master of all trades - extremely knowledgeable and professional - thanks Olympus!

The owner stayed late on a Friday after all employees went home. Fixed completely an ignition issue. We were 2000 miles from home. As we were leaving he noticed a bulge in a tire and pointed it out. He then stayed even later to mount a new tire. We LOVE Boris and Tomas.Service: TiresService: Tires

a glorious find for getting my boat repaired. owner operated, very friendly and happy to answer all 1,000 questions i had about my new to me bass boat. fixed the electrical issues in less than a day when every boat shop i called was on a week- 3 week wait before they would even look at my boat. charged me half the price they would've too. super relieved to have found this place

To say I am highly disappointed is an understatement. I brought this boat to Boris with confidence that he could take care of the motor issues I was having or at least tell me why it cannot be fixed. He had my boat for 3 months and still got no where with it. He NEVER gave me a single update on anything unless I called him or stopped by unannounced. One day I drove by to see if any progress had been done, I was very upset to find my motor without the cover on it, IN THE RAIN!!! And I took pictures. They had water getting into my carbs and all... he wasn t there for me to confront him about it so I left and returned weeks later when I could. Found my boat in the exact same spot without anything done. He also parked my boat under his oak tree out back and my boat was so full of dead leaves and palmetto bugs that it was almost unrecognizable.. he charged me 500$ For throttle cables that don t even matter because now the boat won t move. Then he had the nerve to return my boat to me with the carbs and tilt and trim cylinder disassembled in a plastic grocery bag. My boat would start when I brought it to him. I only put it in the shop to fix the tilt and trim cylinder seal. He then told me my carbs were bad and that he would need to work on them. I agreed because he s the mechanic and I should be able to trust his word. but all he did was give me back my boat disassembled months later (with multiple parts in a bag). Then he told me that the motor isn t really starting anymore for some reason. Which is total bs because it started fine when I brought it to him. I WILL NEVER Use him again and I will spread my negative experience with anyone that I can. They are unprofessional and they screwed me beyond words. He isn t a man of his word and his partner is the same. I only used them because they had good reviews. Then, when I came to pay him the 500$ and get my boat back, he told me that I might as well buy a different motor from him for 4K. I ended up trying a different mechanic and they fixed the motor in 1 week with no problems. They kept me updated by phone often and they were professional. Night and day difference in business.Boris told me because he couldn t get parts for my motor that I might as well buy another motor from him. The new shop found the parts no problem and had it fixed in a week. Olympus auto and marine did me wrong and I hope to help a future boater like myself. I have never written a review in my life. That goes to show you how upsetting this is to me.Services: Carburetor cleaning, Engine repair

Thief and fraudster BORIS OCHSENIUS sold us a trailer and promised proper paperwork so it could be registered and plated to us. After 2 + weeks he tried to defraud us by sending paperwork with WRONG VIN AND INCORRECT YEAR AND MODEL of the trailer we purchased. When I made him aware he agreed to refund our cash and take back the trailer but now he has cut all communication. He will be sued not only for cost of trailer but damages as well.DECEPTIVE PRACTICES BEWARE

Half bit thief miss leading to customers overcharging for work men s despicable and takes advantage of anyone he can. Brought in jet skis He told us he would fix them the problem was not fixed with the work he did and wanted more money ended up keeping both JetSki s in the end. He promised that he could at least make one ride by using the parts from one. Don t trust this little balding slim ballService: Auto engine diagnostic

This is an honest car repair facility. They now sell cash cars too. I usually go for my oil change and listen to all recommendations. They can fix cars, boats, and sell auction cars too. But the difference between here and other car lots, they fully repair all what is wrong with the car. Very dependable.

t to have engine work done that would cost 1200 t$1,500 to have my boat fixed due to low engine compressions. So I took it elsewhere come to find out I only needed my carbs clean I used a $6 bottle of seafoam and saved well over what they was trying to charge me.I went back and made a complaint of course I didn't get my $130 back for the fake diagnostic that they charged me for

They are the best. The owner is very honest, responsible and kind. The owner has a deep knowledge and is well-trained in what he does. They always give an accurate and quick diagnosis of the problem. They have served me for more than two years with excellence. I highly recommend their services and the owner bilingual.

Was pressured to get $1700 in repairs when I only needed $300 worth to get on the road again, even after explaining my tight budget. I felt taken advantage of as a stereotyped car-clueless woman. Would not recommend.
