Had a leaking tire valve after replacing my tires 8 months ago at a different location. They did the right thing and fixed it on the house. Always very easy in getting me in when I need it. Gentleman behind the counter was very helpful and polite. Great experience!

Had 2 outer tires blow up on the rv, Kristy was polite and professioneal, scheduled and honored thebapointment, and the go getter l, polite professional alex put them on without any issues! Thabk you guys so kuch for helping me and my family get home aafe! I will always recommend you guys! God bless!

Came to Mavis for an oil change since I was leaving the next morning for a long drive and didn t want to take chances with low oil. Despite it being only a few hours from closing and incredibly busy, they managed to squeeze us in!The price for the oil change and tire rotation was agreeable, and they changed the windshield wipers for a fair price as well. The whole service was done within an hour and a half. Rachel at the desk was super kind and helpful thanks for the service!

Great service, and super speedy! Rachel was a joy to talk to, and John W was helpful and explained my issues thoroughly. He showed me what my brakes looked like, and what they should look like, and did an excellent job meeting my schedule needs. So glad I stopped in!

A great first of many future visits to Mavis Tire ... being new to the area, a long time Tire Kingdom customer and needing a routine oil change & tire rotation, I found this location to be in a familar area of the city. I had scheduled an appointment & was immediately assisted. Stephen was very pleasant & professional. Grateful that he advised me that my battery was nearing it's life expectancy (I knew it was about 3 years since I purchased this one ) and I had it replaced by them on my visit. Left the shop feeling safe driving my car around the city. Thank you Stephen & Mavis Tire!

I brought my Chevy Silverado in to get checked out before a long trip. Rachel, Dan, and Corey helped me and they were phenomenal! They kept me well informed and were very knowledgeable and friendly! Best place in Gainesville!!! Rachel kept me posted all the way through the process!

It s always a great experience when I bring my car in for service. I work right next door so they are always super accommodating when I need something done with my vehicle. Joseph and Dan was super patient with all my questions and super pleasant to work with. Loyal customer here!

Just had my second experience with this shop and cannot say enough great things! Stephen at the front desk helped me this past time and was so thorough and patient in his explanation of things with some one who knows nothing about cars. On top of all that you really cannot beat their prices either. I feel comfortable taking my cars here as they are reliable, quick, and trustworthy.

They told me about an hour for an alignment. I had a scheduled appointment with them for the service. I waited and walked up after an hour to see how much longer and noticed my truck hadn't moved. They proceeded to tell me that they couldn't give me an estimate and they didn't know when it would be done. I was not the only one in there mad about their timing. I got my keys and went to Firestone where not only they were cheaper ($100 cheaper!!) but they got it done in a timely manner and had great customer service. Will not be back to Mavis!

Nice experience! Lawson helped me pick out a new windshield wiper a bit ago, and it's been working great! They even offered to help put it on.

Great experience. Had to get both front cv axles replaced and they got me into the shop in one day, took care of my car and then were even willing to take the time to explain how they did the repair and do an alignment inspection after they finished. Dan and John were extremely helpful and I will absolutely be returning if I have issues in the future. Thank you!!

Came in to get 4 tires . Dan told me what my options were , wasn t pushy to upsell , suggested an alignment as the wear on the old tires was consistent with the alignment being off . Friendly , fast service . I appreciate y all for getting me back on the road .

Took my car in for an oil change after being told it would be a quick trip by the receptionist. Waited well over 2 hours, and only got my car back after checking in on it repeatedly. Someone had accidentally reset every single dashboard notification/light on the car, and I had to take it back the following day to have them fix it (and wait another 45 minutes). The staff was courteous and friendly, but just do not go here if you have any aspirations for how to spend your time outside of a weird room filled with car tires.

I don t think that I have ever written a Google review before, but I wanted to take the time to give credit to Mavis Tires & Brakes and Stephen in particular.I hated anything related to auto repair, because let s face it it s expensive and inconvenient. On top of that, you often deal with dealerships or shops that aren t always super clear on why something costs what it does.Several years ago we stopped by Mavis, and they have become our go to place in town for pretty much anything related to our cars, and Stephen has always been awesome to work with.Over the holidays it became painfully apparent we needed new rotors and brake pads. We got an appointment on NYE afternoon, and Stephen assured us that the car would be complete by their close of business. Life happens, and the wrong rotor was delivered to the store, delaying the process. Stephen stayed 90 minutes after the store s NYE closing time to complete the project himself. I cannot tell you how much this meant to us.This is a great location. They are awesome to work with, fair, and they do a great job.Can t recommend Mavis & Stephen more really great business and people in our community.

Dan and his team were awesome! I was in and out fast with my Sonata alignment & tired rotation. And LOVE that the waiting area is spotless with lots of places to check emails. Def will return.

I went into Mavis this morning with a wheel off my 6x8 trailer that had the bead broken. They reset the bead for me and set the tire pressure and had me out the door before I knew. Customer service in the front and back of the store was top notch!

Just deleted a years-old 1-star review. 2024 Mavis is on point! When I took in my car for an oil change last week, I had great customer service from Stephen and Dan, including prompt and professional communication, identification and repair of a major brake issue, and speedy completion of services. I'm happy to say that I'll be back. Thanks, guys!

I ordered tires on Amazon, and had them delivered to the store. I called to check on my order and Dan made my day. He was so pleasant and just told me to bring my vehicle in with just a smile and they would take it from there. Long story short, I brought my vehicle in on Saturday morning and Dan was amazing from beginning to end. Excellent customer service and even shared his orange chocolate slices with me and my family. I'm forever a #1 fan of Dan and the team.

Great place. My daughter said her brakes were squeaking. I came in town and took it to mavis. That quick and honest. Told me that the brakes were still good and didn t charge me to inspect them. They have 100% earned my business.

Noticed an abrupt issue in the morning with one of my tires not keeping pressure so I went by Mavis, as I was close, to get some air for it but noticed the valve stem was the issue. I went inside and was ultimately taken care of with great customer service by Stephen and his team!For a first time impression, I was highly satisfied as they handled the issue with swiftness and quality.

I brought my car to Mavis at the recommendation of my parents who recently switched to them as well. They took in my car last minute over the holidays and were able to fix all my car s issues. They have the cleanest garage & bays I have ever seen. I have spent a lot of time in several different mechanics all over Gainesville, having owned several cars over the years and my ex husband was a mechanic in different places in the area over the years. The employees here listened to my concerns, were charming and so friendly. It can be stressful not having a vehicle but they kept in contact and got my car fixed up and back to be as soon as possible! The pricing was much cheaper than other places I took my car to for quotes fixing an oil leak. They now have me as a new regular client for all my car needs, and I recommend them to everyone!

Dan was amazing!!! He guided me for the best off-road tires for my Wrangler! His honesty made me feel taken care of and all the information he gave me sealed the deal for me. I knew I was getting my service at Mavis. I loved me experience here!!!

The process for ordering tires over the phone was very easy! I accidentally arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment. They were able to get me in early & out within an hour. Tires, alignment, the whole thing. Very fast and the customer service was great. I would definitely go back!

Honestly the best experience I ve ever had getting my car fixed. The person that worked with me was so nice (I m bad at names and forgot but wish I could shout her out individually!!) but thank you!!!Also wanted to add that there was no pushy salesperson tactics there and they were so detailed about what I needed and why, really appreciated that.

Dan and the crew at Mavis Tire & Brakes did a great job mounting my tires and performing the alignment on my car. Friendly service from the phone call when I made my appointment, all the way through the process of service and picking up my vehicle. I will do business here again as well as referring friends and family.

This store and its staff, particularly Stephen, were BEYOND accommodating. They were very patient and supportive while I was deciding what to do with my vehicle and Stephen really took the time to lay things out clearly so that I could prioritize in view of my budget. He even walked me through payment options that I didn't know Mavis offers.Got my car back and have had no trouble with it overheating anymore, even in situations that for SURE would have caused it to do so prior to Mavis stepping in and fixing it. Good stuff and a load off my mind.One last thing I'll say is that I am a person with feet and legs, and although they serve people of all abilities, to see someone like Stephen wear those decorative foot/leg sleeves is really affirming.

Ended up getting a flat tire and Dan was able to get me in and out very quickly. Tire wasn't able to be patched but they had the right size tire for my car. Less than 40 minutes from arrival to getting my keys back and getting back on the road. Fast, efficient and friendly staff. When I need to replace my tries I will definitely keep this place in mind.

I had a flat tire and was very worried about my car not being ready for me to travel with the next day. I brought my car here and they were able to help me, and everything went very smoothly. Rachel and Stephen were particularly helpful; Rachel is super friendly and welcoming, and Stephen went above and beyond to help ensure I had my car ready in time. He was also very good at communicating the options to me as well as the price differences. 10/10 experience!
