Best in town. Professional work. I drove to Gainesville from chiefland to see Bob. I would always recommend low budget muffler to anyone in need of a muffler service.

experience was pretty good overall but the welds he put on my exaust were horrible there was a one inch thick pile of weld on one

Wow I have not been excited in a long time about someone to work on my automobile. My daughter went to this gentleman about 5 years ago and we went and hunting him down different name but same person and he is so awesome and the work that he did on my exhaust system was awesome and it didn't really didn't not charge a lot it was very inexpensive and he is wonderful he is a awesome person. Okay guys if you ever need any muscle work take this gentleman he's been in business for years and he look at it and she'll tell you and show you exactly what's wrong with it love him.

Bob was great, he did an excellent job my car s muffler. I don t hear a sound.He was able to get me the same week I called, and just waited for my car. Great price and service too.

Bob is a really nice guy and a great welder. Came in no appointment and didn't have to wait long either. I would get work done here again in a heartbeat

Bob is THE man. He knows what he s doing 100% and the best prices I ve ever seen. I got the pleasure of watching him work a couple weeks back and I ve never seen such a hardworking person of any age, let alone someone his age. He runs the shop himself and really does great work. Call ahead of time he might not be in the shop and don t freak if he doesn t answer, he will call you back. Go here and you will leave ecstatic about the work he does for you and the price.

Very pleased! Bob is such a nice guy and did quality work at a price fitting the "low budget" description. I called ahead, made an appointment for the next day, and it was all completely in about an hour and a half from pull-in to driving away.

Kind and good-humored guy with great prices. I chose the cheapest option for my muffler/exhaust replacement though he definitely had some nice stock available if I wanted it. Called in the day before, came in the next day, was done within an hour and a half. Recommended!

I have not met a better Muffler man, HE IS OLDSCHOOL !!!Brought my 1968 Camaro in for Mufflers and he was kind enough to cut the system to save my bolt together flanges which saved me $40.Job is excellent , Better work than ALL the other shops I have delt with in Lake City & Gainesville ( AND I HAVE TRIED MANY )FROM JOHN HUDSON ,, 50 YEARS OF HOT RODDINGService: Exhaust

My first impressions were sketchy because the doors were locked with a note on the door saying to call him. I called and he came right out and opened the door. He explained that without locking the front door too many homeless people wander in and try to steal stuff, so since he's a 1-man show he locks the door. So I brought my wife's car in because I installed a tow hitch on it and the muffler was knocking around on the newly installed hitch bar. Bob found a way to safely remove the flange causing the noise without losing any structural integrity. We didn't discuss price and thought he would say it would be around $150, but when the job was done and asked how much I owed, he said, "Is $40 dollars okay?" I nearly kissed him.

I took my old VW to 2 places in Gainesville to see if I could get my muffler repaired. Both places told me the entire assembly had to be repaired and the cost would be between $675.00 and $750. I took it to Bob. He repaired it the same day and only asked $150. ( I gave him more). What a gem of a person. Understated, highly skilled and honest. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Have an old Totota Landcruise went to Bobs he gave mea great quote for a complete system. He installed it quickly and expertly. His welds and quality workmanship was superior. If you need custom work done he's the man.

I m outside this dude s shop. Online it says he s open, the front door is wide open, and he s nowhere to be found. I called 3 times, walked in the shop, asked if anyone was around, got no response, and now I m literally sitting in my car watching the phone ring. I ve been here at 20-25 minutes.

Came in right when they opened, just the owner working but a great guy all around. Very helpful and put a new exhaust on my car very fast as I stood right there. Great business would definitely recommend!

I was for referred to this gentleman by JLo who also does automotive work in Gainesville I needed a catalytic converter install into my box truck and gentleman at low budget muffler was unable to help me but he did refer me to someone who could help I appreciate that he was very friendly and very helpful.
