Absolutely amazing. Radiator broke and my car was ready for me less than 48 hours later. Fair price and even gave my car some freon to temporarily fix my A/C (very appreciated with this summer heat). 10/10 recommend for fair pricing and good work.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Prices were so unbelievably low that I left the mechanic a 10% tip. He got an oil change and an a/c drain clog fixed for under $50. What would that cost at a dealership? Hundreds or thousands. The owner stated he could not repair my airbag, but that's ok with me -- some things like that just have to go to the dealership. My only feedback is that if they had given me a call when the work was done, I would be able to comment on how fast they did it. However, I didn't call to check either because I wasn't in a rush. Overall, 11/10. This business is booming, so it's busy, but if you can get the work scheduled, it will be top quality and unbelievably inexpensive.

JC is fantastic. Great price, better than any auto shop chain in the area. They have a lot of business so there may be a wait but the price will be worth it. The work done is fantastic and they are very up front with all the costs.

this is by far the best auto repair shop in Gainesville. My car had a coolant leak and while we have a 3 hour drive back to St. Pete and were very nervous about driving back with a leak. the mechanic stayed after, filled my coolant back up and just gave me a gallon of coolant with directions on how to safely make it back to tampa without my engine breaking down. the mechanic even stayed after hours to help us. the kindest interaction i ve ever had at mechanic shop. Charged the price quoted. Repairs were done as quoted. Completed faster than I was expecting. JC pointed out some service that I should get completed in the near future.Honest, inexpensive, reliable, knowledgeable, and quick.

The owner and staff are Amazing. They take pride in their work and do a great job diagnosing the issue.They are reliable, friendly, respectful and really know their business.If you are looking for an honest shop this is the place you need to go!

Honest, straightforward and dependable. Always charges reasonably and almost always does great work on an issue the first time. JC will be fair and tell you what needs work and what doesn't. Won't gouge a customer for every minor repair he can get his hands on. We trust JC and Iris and appreciate their excellent customer service.

Rude owner, changed his word in price, didn t write down the exact cost, he kept saying no problem no problem then later when its time to pay he said no its not the amount we agreed on. Expensive work, You will waste money and time, he refuses to schedule a time and will keep saying Waite I am busy while at the phone he keeps welcoming customers to track them. I hope my car issue has been solved. Will waite for awhile then update you.

I bought a car from JC auto. They were amazing! It's a nice 2001 Hyundai Elentra! Well 2 days later my belt started squealing so I called them and they told me to bring it in and fixed on the spot! I'm surprised to hear anything negative about them because they were amazing! I also need a front end alignment and they are doing it for very good price and I have a 30 day mechanical warranty in case anything goes wrong! I mean NO ONE does that! I HIGHLY recommend them for anything you need done or to buy a car! -Briana McDaniel, very satisfied customer! 5 stars guys! :-)

I had an issue with a faulty hydraulic tensioner. I showed up at JC Auto on Sat am. He was quick to confirm the issue and to begin work on my car. He had my repair completed quickly and at a fair price. I wish I lived close enough to Gainesville that I could use him for future car issues.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

We had a flat, & were having an impossible time with our roadside service. Three hours in to being stranded within eyesight of the Payne's Prairie Observation boardwalk (& three calls to setup towing), my husband had enough. He drove slowly, & as carefully as possible to JC Auto Services. In less than 30 minutes, Warren had found is the tire we needed, & put it on our rim and back on our car. He had to look hard to find the correct size, and was one of the good things that happened for us today. Would send my Mom here to have work done if she lived local.

Great service, very reasonable prices, quality work. A mom-and-pop repair shop, where you're told exactly what's wrong with your car and what's needed to fix the issues. Have gotten my car fixed and maintained there for three years now.

They are really nice and kind. They understand when you are a student and explain to you the most important things that have to be repaired and also offer some discount. I can speak Spanish with them which I prefer.

Excellent service, reasonable prices, honesty, deff my first choice when it come to the maintenance of my old jaguar. Though being a mechanical engineer, I prefer to leave my car on their hands.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt because of the prices (3 times!!!, my mistake I know). I thought I saved money by taking my car here but ended up having to pay a lot more since the car was never fixed. Jc did not responded for the work done so I had to take the car somewhere else. I don't mean to discredit anybody's business but if you are a student with a low budget do not take the chances here, it's not worth it.

My husband and I called for a price on replacing a car for our vehicle. Not only was the owner rude on the phone they told us they would call back,and we never received a call back. I am glad I will not be doing business with them, if customer service is important to you I would not recommend this place.

THEY INTENTIONALLY SABOTAGE CARS.I went in for an oil change, and they removed some screws from the panel underneath my car so that the wind pushed it down when I got on the freeway, resulting in scraping.This place will intentionally sabotage your car so that you go back to them. Another reviewer says the same thing happened to them.

I appreciate small, hard working businesses like JC Auto. They were personable, friendly, and provided prompt service. As busy as they were, I could walk in on a Saturday and get an oil change. I'll be returning for more business in the future.

my Boyfriend took his car over to him for a clutch job. and and after 3 months the car is still not fixed. waiting for a clutch cable. and also this place damaged his driver side mirror and his hood on his car. this guy is a joke. never take your car to JC because you will wait forever to get it back. now we have to rent a car so we can go and enjoy Halloween horror night on sep 21. never use this guy

DO NOT GO HERE. THE GUY RIPS YOU OFF. I WENT IN FOR ONE THING, And all of a sudden, I had five other things wrong. Now my check engine light is on (which was not on before his shop), and it runs worse than before. HE CAN NOT BE TRUSTED! This is the old address, they moved
