I was looking for a vehicle for my daughter. I called Gator City Motors and was greeted by Mo. He took all of my information and helped me to get a nice jeep for my daughter. He is an assistant to the Gator City Motor family!

I made an inquiry, received a phone call. I asked for pictures of the vehicle as there was none on the website, I live over an hour away and I did not want to drive out there if it wasn't something I was interested in. Gentleman I spoke to on the phone said I would have them by lunch day on 12/5. Never got pictures. Messaged their facebook page on 12/7 asking for pictures yet again. The message was read and never answered. If the customer service is this bad just to get pictures of a vehicle I (might) want to purchase then I can only imagine how awful it will be after purchase. I have lost interest & will be taking my business elsewhere.

Mo was amazing to deal with, however the business as a whole seems shady. Glad I caught it before actually purchasing. Price was atleast 4-5k over KBB value for private selling and when questioned the only thing he could say was the Jeep had a lift kit which it CLEARLY did not, it had large tires and after market rims but no lift kit. Then Ard proceeded to tell me it was also because of ALL the work they had to put into the Jeep to be able to sell it (so it obviously was very messed up and they're carrying those costs over to the buyers) then stated it was because.of their 2 year warranty so when I asked of the cost of said warranty was incorporated into the loan/asking price he said no (total contradicting) so I am taking my $ elsewhere. Please do ADAMANT research before buying anything from this location. Get carfax, your own mechanic and research the price!!!!!

5-star service. My husband was looking online for Jeeps, found one he liked and Ard made the whole process seamless. Everything was done remotely, we pulled up, the Jeep was ready, we test drove it, signed a few papers and we were off. The Jeep was better than we were expecting as its tough to find used Jeeps at a good price that aren't beat up. By far, one of the best used car purchases we've ever experienced. If ever in the market for a used car again, we will go back. We highly recommend.

My husband and I went here with the plan of buying our 16 year old her first car. Safety was of the utmost importance to us. From the moment we walked on the lot we were put at ease. Bret was absolutely amazing and we felt no pressure whatsoever, just thorough explanations and such a relaxed feeling. Well, we ended up leaving with a beautiful Malibu for our daughter and a Jeep for Momma. The owner Ard and Dawn in the office were wonderful and made the financial and paperwork side of things painless. I NEVER write reviews, but it was important to me that I did one of Gator City Motors, because it was that great of an experience!! I'll send people your way with no hesitation. Blessings to you all! Also wanted to add that we had been to at least a dozen dealerships before coming across this gem!!

Best car buying experience we've ever had. Ard and his team helped us find the exact vehicle we were looking for and not only stayed within our budget, but actually got it for us at less than the prices at the big dealerships - and provided a 2-year Warranty. He delivered on all of his promises and communicated everything with us throughout the process. We couldn't be happier with our purchase. I highly recommend Gator City Motors.

Checked a few places online and nothing had as many positive reviews as Gator City Motors. I needed to trade my motorcycle for a car. The staff went out of their way to make it so i could even trade. After quickly being able to find what I wanted. The staff helped me find insurance for the car. It took awhile. Most of the staff stayed after hours to wait on me. Super friendly staff. Great experience. I bought a Toyota Yaris that ran amazingly and was very clean. Happy with the purchase and my time there. Will buy from them again in the future, and i would recommend them to anyone buying a new car.

My wife's car was recently totaled so we were looking around for a new vehicle. I have previously purchased four vehicles from Gator City Motors throughout past years so I came to them first for the fifth and I am glad I did. We worked very closely with Bob, himself and the rest of the staff were very friendly and worked very hard to make us happy with all the requests we had. They all went above and beyond to be sure we were comfortable with our purchase and happy when we left. We are now proud new owners of a 2008 F250 Lariat. :)

I had a great experience with Gator City Motors. Their staff is both very friendly and highly professional.They let me test drive the car alone and they were very helpful and patient with setting up the insurance contract, as I'm new in the country! I went to several different car dealers on N Main Street in Gainesville, and these guys are definitely the best for their personalized treatment. (plus they offer lifetime warranty for the engine, which is quite exceptional). My 2008 Pontiac is great and right now I'm just waiting for the definitive tag!

Sold a car with a major problem and hid it, then lied about it, didn t help, then tried to con more money from selling shot tires, now they call and harass because they don t like being called out.. bad business Updated* they changed my two front tires as a supposed favor when they were supposed to fix the car. They charged me $300 for two tires when new tires for the car go for $80-90 at the most, then they put on used tires at that and didn t balance them right, when I caught them they tried to cover the cost of the tires for free but then they stole my spare I had in the back and replaced it with a smaller one horrible dealership and will be spamming this review in more detail everywhere including BBB, and the newspaper.Original review* They purposely buy and sell lemons. They sold me a car with a legitimate expensive problem, they reset the cars computer so when I got it no codes blinked till a week later. Then when you go get it fixed by them they do it again and charge you for nothing. Now im stuck with taking my car to another mechanic to put down almost 2grand down to fix the car they sold me. Horrible business and will send this info to the BBB and give this to friends that work for the Gainesville, Ocala and The Villages newspapers.

Definitely would recommend this dealership to all of my friends! I was able to get the exact car I wanted within my price range. The staff are really sweet people and you can tell they love what they do! Ard and James were incredibly helpful and a joy to be around. Super happy with my experience here at Gator City Motors!

My car shut down near Millhopper.. Donnie, who had a Gator City Motors employee shirt on, was at Publix and offered his help though I m sure it wasn t the most convenient thing for him to do on a Tuesday morning at 8:30 am. He was so kind, so helpful, and felt so safe as a young woman broken down having a complete stranger help - I was glad it was Donnie! I offered to pay him and he politely declined and made it very clear he was just glad to be someone who can help! Donnie made my scary moment feel safe & I think that says a lot about the integrity and humility of the people who work at Gator City Motors and how they act even when no one is watching!

I had a wonderful experience with Gator City Motors!! I found my car online and called for assistance because the website was down. Bob was super helpful and took my application over the phone because I live and work in Ocala, I didn't want to make the trip if I didn't have to. Within a day I was told to go ahead and come in to sign paperwork and pick up my car! All of the employees had great personalities and you could tell that they were happy to work there which is important to me. A special thanks to Bob and James!! Y'all are the best! Highly recommend going and seeing them for your next auto purchase!!!

Extremely professional and helpful. They have great prices and listen to all your needs. I bought a car from them a few years ago and am still very happy with my purchase. The owner made sure I had a good experience and worked with my budget. I've even recommended family members, and they have also had the same wonderful experience as I have. I highly recommend them!

I recently purchased a 2008 Mini Cooper from Gator City Motors. The finance manager along with the other staff that assisted me offered absolutely stellar service! They were kind, helpful and extremely knowledgeable about their vehicles and financing options. They truly made my experience buying a vehicle wonderful. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a vehicle.

My husband and I just purchased a 2014 Ford Mustang from Gator City Motors. Our experience with Gator City Motors has been, by far, the best car buying experience I have ever had. We were upside down in our trade in and Bob really bent over backwards to get us into the car we wanted and made it work for us. We finally have a car we love and were able to feel very comfortable with the purchase we made. I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be coming back when we are looking for our next car.

Great place to buy a decently priced used vehicle here in Gainesville. Ard the owner is very knowledgeable and up front about his vehicles and knows them inside and out. Their mechanic is very knowledgeable as well and just a great place to work with. Me and wife enjoyed probably the easiest buying experience of a vehicle that I have personally experienced. Free warranty is a huge plus when buying a used because let's face it it is used and things do happen. Ard and his staff understand this and work to get the best parts and not just bargain basement parts. They want you to be safe and have a reliable vehicle if something does happen. Overall I recommend this business to friends and family members. Thank you guys again for the great buying experience!

I had a wonderful experience buying a car from Gator City Motors. We received an accurate quote via our on line application. When we came in person to test drive and close the deal, there was no monkey business or bait and switch. There sales staff provided a no pressure approach from start to finish and were very quick to provide any information I requested. They had a nice selection of cars for me and didn't try to lock me in to one particular car. They presented me with all of my options and allowed me to decide. Their two year warranty was just the icing on the cake! Thank you Gator City Motors. You will have my business again in the future.

Awesome experience! They were able to caterto me and my situation. After others told me no, Gator City Motors jumped through hurdles for me and told me yes. I have already referred a few people to this place and i know they will have a great experience as i did. I am very glad i chose to come here. They are very flexible and the inventory is amazing. I got an exceptional car! All employees are very friendly and helpful. Definitley hands down the best car buying experience i have ever had.

I have had 2 cars financed from here. The first car was in 2016 and now in 2018. This place has been WONDERFUL and the staff is AMAZING, They have done everything to help me out and are Very understanding of the circumstances i came in with and have been nothing but nice to me. They helped me with all my questions and concerns i have and have helped me not once but twice put in me in a nice, affordable and reliable car for me and my 2 year old daughter. I highly recommend this place.

I recently bought a 2010 Ford Mustang for my almost 16 year old daughter. From our salesman, Matt, to everyone else, we had an extremely pleasant experience, and she is delighted with the car. This dealership and all of the folks who work there are the true definition of a down-home, friendly approach to what can otherwise be an unpleasant experience. They contacted and responded to contacts from me and my daughter promptly, pleasantly, and patience. Whether the situation called for a chuckle or a serious understanding of our situation, they made it just feel right. I highly recommend Gator City Motors to anyone! You'll be glad you got to work with these friendly and reassuring people.
